Dena moves forward from were she landed after getting back up to see Ailynia shoot at the Ogres hitting the one by Avan for 5 damage.  It attacks the Jackal as it lunges for a bite on the held Ogre.  The jackal takes 15 damage.  Avan casts a spell that sends a arc of lightning through the ranks as Ghanima heals Kixarn. Kat runs forward and disappears only to reappear at the far ogres.  The ogres in the back do not see her as they fire off more arrows as the others switch to their trusty clubs as they move forward into battle.  Arilynia is hit with an arrow for 13 points and needs to make a save or be knocked backwards. ( Fortitude save)  Those in the front can see that these Ogres have armor on them, making them just a bit harder to hit.   That does not seem to bother Bastion as he hits the one by Avan and brings it down.  Rivoril makes sure the ogre at Bastions feet is dead as he puts a arrow into it. 

Kixarn stumbles against the wall, the arrow protruding from his shoulder and leaving a trail of dark purple blood along the corridor. Pulling out the offending arrow, he presses his hand against the wound until, with the rush of Ghanima's healing, the wound closes and the pain fades to a slim memory. Looking at the welcome healer, he says "Thanks you for the repair. It hurt. Now back to battle ogres for me." and he stands upright. Edging back to the corner, he casts another of his newly acquired spells and calls forth a giant beetle (Summon Monster II), it's shell and  eyes glowing with a holy light. (2 /2 for quantity) +4 STR and +4 CON from feat. Kixarn curses in Infernal at the lack of quantity, expecteding at least a couple from his magic, but chalks it up to the unfamiliarity with the spell.

   Kat focuses on her off handed blade.  Flame roars along it's length. She steps into the space behind the ogre nearest her and begins thrusting and slashing at it with reckless abandon.  

 While moving in to attack she hears the other ogres chanting as,if casting a spell. " Beware. They are casting a spell!!" 

Seeing Kat teleport to the other side of the ogres, and hearing her warning about the spell, Bastion raises his blade as if to strike at the ogre in front of him, but suddenly disappears.

His blade comes swiping from the side as he reappears in front of the archers, attempting to cleave through two of them at once.

Rivoril, get read to loose two more arrows at the advancing Ogres again.

The Jackal  continues to bit at any enemy he can reach, and Avan follows up with a whack from his quarterstaff.

"Will it be necessary to transform into a bear? I won't be able to talk until all the fights in here are over."

Katharina Attacks the Ogre in front of her causing it to grunt in surprise.  It barely maintains its composure as it finishes its spell as the one beside it finishes its spell.  They both turn to Kat and attack her as they drop their bowls and draw their clubs.   Surprise round is over. 

Dena moves up to attack as she sees bastion disappear.  Moving into his spot she will attack (next round as she can not move into his spot until after his move in the initiative order).  Arilynia shoots at the Ogre in front of Avan but misses.  The Jackal and Avan attack with the Jackal biting into the one in front for 12 damage and tries to trip it too but it avoids being tripped but barely causing it to miss its attack this round.  The one beside it swings at Bastion but misses as he disappears allowing Dena to move forward.  Bastion appears in front of the far Ogres where two have turned towards Kat and one is still firing its bow.  Bastion misses with his attacks.  Kat swings at the one in front of her but misses with her attack.  Rivoril Shoots at the Ogres but misses with his first shot but hits with his second for 4 damage.     Ghanima and Kix are in the side passageway.  The ogre firing its bow does so at Arilynia again but misses as it steps closer to the action and away from Bastions range.  Bastion misses with his AoO.  One of the ones in the back of the main battle hears the new battle behind so it turns to move up to attack Bastion.

Bastion swiftly lashes out at the ogre in between him and Kat, hoping to end these three quickly so they can move on to help their allies with the remainder.

Sending his summoned beetle down to attack one of the ogres, Kixarn leans around the corner enough to cast another spell against the enemy. A shining sparkle of bright motes appear at head level on the foes, blinding and distracting them from their attacks. 

OOC - Glitterdust centered on S/T 108/109 10' radius so it doesn't hit friendlies. DC 16 Will save. To hit T109, T110 and S110

Beetle will attack any available bad guy. Attack: 10 Damage: 7 +1 Smite if he does damage. 

Rivoril will attack the Ogre bearing down on the Cleric in front of him. Firing off two rounds of his composite bow again.

  Kat feels emboldened by Bastion engaging the same ogre.  She tries to take advantage of the distraction by driving her blades home.  

With no shouts of desparation from the others, Avan chooses to keep his ability to talk instead of transforming just yet. "Any spare Alchemist fire or acid?" He asks, shouting over the din of battle. "They're still bunched together, so we can hit a few with one. We have to get to the rear ones quickly!"

Dena steps up with her mace and connects with the Ogre in front of her.  Arilynia shoots at the Ogre in front of Avan again hitting it once but her other arrows misses.  The jackal and Avan move together still attacking but they both miss.  The blue Ogre in front of Bastion swings at him but misses.  Bastion swings back connecting with a savage blow for 37 damage but the Ogre seems unfazed by the damage.  Katharina swings again at the blue Ogres  missing as the one fires off another spell towards the main group.  Avan needs to make a saving throw vs hold person.  Rivoril fires off two shots with his bow hitting the one in front of Dena twice for 14 damage.  Meanwhile Kixarn casts glitter dust into the ranks of the Ogres on the front line of battle causing them to sparkle quite nicely.  One seems to be blinded as it looks about in confusion.  I will need a spot check from Kixarn, Rivoril, Ghanima and Ailynia.  The ogre in front of Avan is blinded but the ogre in front of Dena swings at her hitting her hard it almost knocks her prone but she manages to stay on her feet.  The other Ogre by Bastion swings and connects for 13 damage to Bastion.  Thus ends this round.

Kixarn let's the beetle do what it can, while it exists, and tosses another alchemical treat into the fray - a thunderstone! With a loud bang, the stone sends concussive waves into the backs of the ogres, trying to deafen and impede them further.

Rivoril, tries to spot and see what has just happened with the Ogres particularly the one in front of Dena. But, also the one in front of Avan. Also, if there is any more hostiles coming from somewhere else that they should consider?

  Kat continues moving fluidly while slashing out rapidly with her blades.  She knows they need to finish them off soon.  

Bastion strikes out again, frustrated that these targets have not fallen as quickly as he'd anticipated. He'd hoped to be laying into the other group's rear line by now. A brief flare of light accompanies the strike.

Dena is surprised when she spots a shimmering form behind the front ranks but yet not back with other group that Bastion and Kat are fighting.  IT soon fades out.  Arilynia saw it also.  Dena was taken off guard seeing it and thus she missed with her attack.  Arilynia shoots with her bow hitting the one in front of Avan twice.  Avan and the jackal together hit that one too bringing the big Ogre down.  The blue ogre by Bastion hits him for 17 damage as the one by Kat misses her.  The other one starts a spell again seeing that it missed Avan.  But Bastions AoO hits him causing him to lose his spell.  Bastion misses with his attack but Kat is able to land a blow on the one by her causing 9 damage.  Rivoril fires off two more arrows both missing their targets.  The beetle misses with its attack as a thunderstone goes off in the midst of the Ogres causing them to be deafened.  This causes the Ogre in front of Dena to also be distracted some as it missed its attack on her.  Thus ends this round. 

Thinking to himself #I'll need more of those. Effective against ears.# Kixarn casts another spell against an undamaged Ogre, trying to remove it from combat. He fills it's mind with demons and underworld horrors are various kinds, tortures and pain and all things he had experienced in his youth, bringing out it's fears.
