Ash, looking at the rug would know that that large rug was normally rolled out on the floor under your parents bed... it has always been there for as long as you can remember and you don't know why it would have been moved. As you look around the bed where the run had been, you can see a discoloration in the floor where the rug had rested as well as obvious scuff marks on the stone floor caused by the thick wooden bedposts being slide across the rough stone.
Ash bends his horse-like knees and leans forward to peer under the bed. He is able to spot what appears to be a large metal hatch with an iron ring that looks as though it could be used to pull the hatch open.
Ash is able to move the bed. pushing hard against the large sturdy bed, his hooves leaving white scratches... it slowly and loudly screeches across the floor until the heavy metal hatch is uncovered. The centaur gives the metal ring a quick tug and it doesn't budge.
Pok'im comes into the bedroom and can't quite stiffle a giggle at the sight of a Centaur on its hands and knees peering under a bed. "Wot yuh found Ash?" he asks.
none of you have ever seen this door. For as long as you can remember there has always been a rug and incredibly large and heavy bed sitting in the same spot on top of where this door is located.
Darastrix ponders for a moment, as he watches Ash struggle slightly against the trap door, "I forget, who was the strongest? All those wrestling matches..." Placing a hand on Pok'im, "Pretty sure that was you, brother. Why don't you go show em why that is."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kulsee pockets the silvery cloth and follows everyone to the bedroom when she hears the discussion. Seeing the door in the floor, she asks "Is it just heavy or is it locked? I might be able to finagle it open, but we should put everything back the way we found it after. If Ma and Pa find out we were snooping around they'll tan out hides."
The door does not appear to be locked in any way, it is just a very heavy thick metal hatch with a simple metal ring to try to lift it. The hatch is recessed into the ground so the only way to get a hold of it is using the metal ring.
After having come down as well, Vruuk had been stuck on that knock business from Darastrix from some time now. So much so. in fact, he paid little mind to the request to help out for a while. Shaking his head, he focuses back on the problem at hand and goes to Help pok'im if at all possible.

(Definitely a surprise party)
Ash moves the bed and calls to the others.

(I'm telling you to just knock)
Kulsee just gets out of the way then, she wont be of any help lifting it.
