Ash moves around the room looking for a way to shut off the water, moving around the room and even into the hallway, he is unable to find a switch bu in his haste also forgot about the traps they avoided in the hallway.
ash roll me a DeX save to make sure you dont step on a submerged trap trigger in the flooded hallway since you rolled a 1 lol
OOC: A stone slab fell between the square room with the spikes and the hallway with the un-triggered traps. It fell at N8 and O8... sorry if I was not clear.
Ash stumbles through the water and comes incredibally close to stepping on some of the untriggered traps. He is unable to find any switches or buttons of any kind.
Pok'im lifts one foot out of the water and brings it down with a splash exclaiming "where all dat water come from. Today is not bath night, dat is tomorrow!" Initiative roll: 9
Following is a pre-post to use on Pok'im's turn. I put it here for continuity.
"Poki'im got it Vruuk"Pokim says to Vruuk. On his turn Pok'im moves to the male dwarf (Q3) and and sticks a large meaty (right middle) finger in the dwarf's left eye exclaiming "Pok'im, pok'im and water go slow."
Alternative approaches: 1) If possible, Pok'im sticks another meaty finger (right index) in the dwarf's right eye exclaiming "Pok'im, pok'im 'gain and water go slower."If this is not possible because the dwarf engraving is too big he reaches up and sticks his left index finger in the dwarf engraving's right eye of Man (Acrobatics roll: 15. Spreadeagled as he is with his face pressed up against the wall he says "Vruuk, Pok'im not real comfortable here!"
2) If the dwarf engraving's face is to wide for Pok'im to use his left hand, he then uses his largely prehensile toes to climb the wall and swing himself up so that he use his toes to plug the holes in the dwarf's right eye hole. (Athletics roll: 18). Hanging off the wall in a position that can only be described as contorted he exclaims "Vruuk, Pok'im is very uncomfortable here!"
I missed this update. The eyes of the engraving are pretty far apart but Bugbears have super long reaching arms. That being said the eye holes are actually about the size of your fists so you would have to cram your whole hands in there to have any effect. Assuming you do that I will say that Pokim is able to slow the water pouring out of that side. Not completley but mostly.....s
Recap Ash, Darastrix, Vruuk, and then Pokim Ash attempts to find a way to shut off the water and fails to find anything and nearly triggers on of the traps in the previous hallway. Darastrix... sits in the water? Vruuk pushes down the bookstand and it has no effect Pokim manages to mostly plug the holes of one of the three engravings, slowing the amount of water pouring into the room but it is still rising.
If Darastrix wants to do anything he can otherwise we are back to Ash... The water is now just below your waist
Darastrix told Ash to put the book back, so unless he does that of his own free will, the lizard will just wait everyone out and do it once they're dead.
So Ash tries to put the book back and it easily sits in the book stand. The bookstand kind of bobs up and down a bit and settles into the position it had been when they entered the room but the water keeps pouring in.
Darastrix is up, Ash put the book back and it didn't do anything.. what are you going to do?
(So your not going to try to break down the door... find a switch... find a secret door.... look for a bazooka... cram something in a statue... nothing?)
(Not really 😬. I can't break through a solid stone slab that fell from the ceiling. Vruuk, Pok'im or Ash could lift it maybe. Resetting the trap did nothing and yet it was reset by someone just yesterday. Unless the water gets high enough for it to become obvious where there might be a hidden switch or door, there's not really anything for Darastrix to do or assume to do. He's not an experienced adventurer that would assume such things.)
(The trap was not triggered by the other team, They were able to remove the other book and replace it with the new one in a way that did not disturb the bookstand. The Stone slab is like a stone door that slid down, it could be destroyed or lifted.. nothing is stopping you from hitting it with something.. or whatever you wanna do,. Otherwise Vruuk is up!)

OOC: OF COURSE!!!

Darastrix lowers himself into the water as low as he can, "Just put the book back for now"

OOC: I thought you said we were cut off? How can water be around us when there's a huge hole in the hallway?
"The book isn't meant to be here! They've taken rge other along with Ma and Pa," Ash says frantically looking for a way out.

Yeah, so the book was located on the pedestal at N/O 2 and it caused basically a solid stone door to drop at N/O 8
Water is pouring in from the engravings located on the three walls of the northern room. N/O2, K 3/4 and Q 3/4

(So we go for Alternative 1 and Pok'im is spreadeagled against Q3 and Q4 with his face mashed into the dwarf's face and a fist in each eye socket)

Ash attempts to put the book back when it's his turn.
