Hank will give Ash a smile, wiping some snot from his pushed up nose before making his way on to the centaurs back. "I don't know why so many people in this town don't like me... they seem to have problems with anyone normal...." The boy will say looking down at the dark hair of the centaur. "Sometimes I miss the orphanage... my new mom and dad are nice... but I felt like I fit in living at the orphanage... now I have kids telling me there is something wrong with me every day..." The young shifter will say quietly so that only those closest to him can hear.
As you all quickly back out of town and make your way around, the trip is pretty uneventful but it takes you about three times as long and you don't end up getting to Hagger's place until around 3 in the afternoon.
From the drive leading up to Haggers Farm, you can easily see the house belonging to Hank. it is a small home that seems to be in decent shape with a small plot of land for crops and a few flowers growning in pots hanging on the windowsill.
Old man Haggers home is much larger and it far worse shape. The old man lives alone and not many people get along with the man because he can come off gruff and rude to those that don't know him. The owns quite a few acers of land and while Hank's home appears to have already planted their small farm plot... the large Hagger farm has made no progress towards being planted.
(Imagine that Hank is like a 14 year old teacup pig / boy combo in a flannel shirt and suspenders that walks on 2 legs :D)
(OOC: Too cute! Ugh! My Heartstrings! Also, Hank belongs to the other family near Hagger's place, right? Or did I misread things.)
"Well, True, Kulsee. But I'm sure Hank 'preciates us show'n up when we did. Tho' we gonna wanna avoid town fer a tidbit after this. Means you two Hank."Vruuk says along the way to the farm, and little else without prompting. As far as once the group reaches the farm, Vruk being Vruk was content to let the others do the talking for a time while he practiced trying to walk blindly along the way. This way he could at least rest his eyes.

(the boy lives next door and does not live with Mr. Hagger)
Old man Hagger, hearing the commotion will open his front door with a loud CLACK as it opens outward and bangs into the wooded planks of his house. "Who out here is making all that noise" The scruffy old man will adjust his glasses AMD shuffle his feet a few steps out the door before spotting all of you. "That boy ain't mine, he belongs nextdoor with the Fredricks.." The gruff hunched over man will say pointing his cane towards the smaller house a few acres away. "The man will shuffle across the front porch if his home near the group and look at Ash first before exa.ining the rest if the group. "So this is who your Mrs. Ruby sent to help me get my fields planted while old Roc is laid up with a sprained ankle hu? well most of you look strong enough that is for sure..." The old man will scoot around in between each of you quickly looming you all over. "Man, getting older does a number on us all doesn't it. Looks like puberty his some of you hard... Ash, your legs dont seem to match your body, Two of you got more hair than a bearskin rug, this one has some bad skin, and the little lady down there doesn't seem to have hit her growth spurt yet... OH WELL... All younger inside I have some warm soup still left on the stove and you all can get started once your bellies are warmed up." The old man will say with a smile, pulling out a pipe and lighting it on his way into the house.
(You guys are pretty sure he thinks that you are all humans going through puberty or something...)
Darastrix swishes his tail (lizards in control of those?) As he expectantly waits to hear more about the horse. "Do horses recover from such injuries? Will it be the same? Able to work the farm? Will you have to put it down?" A clawed scaley hand would come up to wipe at his mouth as he watches the old man scoot across the porch. "Soup. I don't want any soup." He pouts, following after
"Mr Hagger, yuh just tell Pok'im what to do and he will do it" Pok'im says "but some soup first would be good, Poki'm likes soup."He then walks into the house making sure that he wipes his feet carefully at the door because Ma used to rail on him something bad when he walked into the Orphanage buildings without wiping his feet properly.
As Ash makes his way to the Fredricks farm, a pair of friendly heavy set humans greet her at the door. A man is with brown hair and beard that hangs down over a pair of common overalls and a woman with a full face and rosey cheeks wearing a pretty pink dress with an apron over too. "Oh hello there, what can I do for you todoohhmy goodness Hank what happened to your face baby!?" The broad smile Mrs. Fredricks face changing to a look of concern as she kneels down and easily picks up the 100+ pound child. "More bullies I assume.." The taller mr. Fredricks would say as he reaches out to place a hand on his sons head. "Can hardly send the boy into town to run simple errands without him getting picked on and abused.. So many dang backwards people in this town make me sick.." The face and hands of the large man will start to turn red as he gets more angry.. "So many if those kids are just doing what their parents tell em.. I swear the whole group of then are like a cancer in this town... spreading their hate and lies through the town.. My wife and I are just trying to give our son here a nice life and they wont let us..." the man will say looking Ash in the eyes.. "I recognize you from the orphanage.. Tell Slate and Ruby thanks for the wonderful kid and let them know how you helped bring Hank home to us as well... I imagine Ruby would like to have a word with the parents of whoever did this to my boy."
As the rest of you follow Hagger inside, you can see that the farmhouse used to be very ornate and well kept long ago. Chandeliers covered in cobwebs and engraved woodwork so covered in dust that it just looked lumpy. Hagger makes his way to a large pot hanging over a large fireplace and hands out bowls of soup to each of you. "I call it squeekslpat stew... on account that it is full of critters that used to squeak before going splat!" He will say with a chuckle. As each of you examine the stew you can easily see that it contains veggies and an assortment of cleaned mice, rats, and squirrels.. each of them skinned and gutted but otherwise left intact with the meat on the bones.
"Old Roc will be fine in a couple weeks. I made this mistake of letting my neighbor Mr. Fredricks borrow him... he is a big goliath of a man... that guy went and got old Roc hurt on accident and now I am in a bind and falling behind on my farming" The old man will say between puffs on his pipe. "I really appreciate Ruby letting me borrow her kids to help out" He will say with a grin, revealing that he only has about half his teeth
"Maybe don't send him on his own," Ash says with a sympathetic frown. "It's clear he isn't safe regardless of the villagers ill will. Maybe escort him next time. I wish you happiness Hank," he adds before leaving the Fredrick's farm and returning to Hagger's place.
"Pok'im luv dis squeeksplat stew Mr Hagger, tis almost as good as Pa's pancakes" Pok'im says as he carefully sucks the meat off all of the small bones before throwing the bones in the fire and then spooning up the vegies, and stock with relish.
"Morning Mr. Hagger." Vruuk said as soon as the old man stepped out. He later waves Ash and Hank off in his usual absent-minded way. Not seeming to mind being called hair for his age, Vruuk merely smiled up until Daratrix comment earned a small frown and chop upside the head. None too hard, of course, but certainly enough to get the warning across. Even if he risked getting his hand bitten for the light punishment.
"C'mon, scale brother. You know betta than that." Vruuk says, and then as he followed on inside, "Much appreciated, Mr. Hagger. That was mighty neighborly of ya."

"you will have to decide which of you will push or pull the plow through the fields..... which of you will plant the seeds behind the them.... and which of you will follow behind covering the seeds with soil and fertilizer...
