This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Carmir makes a sweeping gesture at the kenku, not quite growling, "Scourgify!" in an attempt to clean as much of the blood away as possible. He does it several times, focusing on her throat in hopes that the magic might clear out whatever might be choking her.
Then, whether he can tell it worked or not, he pulls a set of thieves' tools out of a pocket. "Here," he breathes to Pok'im, "let me try with these."
As Carmir casts [Tooltip Not Found], the caked blood and dirt covering her feathers and torn rags dissappear. As the Kenku is cleaned up, Pokim is able to identify the kenku as one of his little sisters that was often getting in trouble for mocking her siblings and mom and pa by mimicing them... much to the entertainment of everyone else. After casting his spells, the teifling quickly pulls out his theives tools and is able to quickly unlock the chains that were binding the kenku and holding her to the floor. Although she is free of the chains, her mouth is still tied tightly shut with a rope and she is still in danger of bleeding out and choking.
I am going to need a couple more medicine rolls and some RP of freeing her beak. Either a strength / dex check to untie it or an attempt to carfully cut it without cutting her. You can help eachother.
***Just in case I wasn't clear, She is still choking***
As the chains unlock, Carmir puts away his tools and draws a dagger. He holds it in a slightly trembling hand and looks at Pok'im. "Um ... " he says, adjusting his grip on the knife. "H — hold her down ... I guess?" the tiefling says nervously.
OOC: What do I roll? I guess I'll roll a d20, and you can do whatever you want with it.

In case you want me to roll with advantage instead of Pok'im also rolling himself (only the DM should look at this in case he wants Pok'im to roll):
Carmir is able to just barely slide the knife between the beak and rope before carefully slicing through the rope. As the fope falls away, the kenku coughs violently as an eruption of blood is freed from her mouth and throat. she is left gasping for air as her bearly unconscious body tries to catch its breath. During the coughing and moving you notice another set of open woulds that are still trickling blood. The skin between her feathers is looking very pale but she is no longer choking.
( go go medicine checks... dont forget to help if your character would help.)
Cinders runs into the room, not really knowing how he can help. he turns to Carmir, "Big brother, you probably know more about this than me, just tell me how i can help and i will!!"
(Cinders will help, giving advantage to any upcoming checks)
As cinders runs into the room, Carmir quickly grabs the kobold's hands and places them over one of the kenku's wounds before instructing Pokim where to apply pressure as well. Using much of his available clean water from his waterskin, The tiefling is able to quickly wash away some dirt and grime before tying scraps of cleaned cloth over the wounds. As the last of the young kenku's wounds are healed, the mastiff will walk in as well and begin licking her face. Cinder's can now see that face of the kenku and both Cinders and Pokim would know that her name was "Chirp Chirp" or "Chirpee" as many of you called her. As the mastiff licks her face, Chirpee will open her eyes for just a moment. In that moment you think you see relief in here eyes before she closes them again.
She is stable right now but in really bad shape. There are still various noises of people talking and clanking coming from down the staircase and you can hear what sounds like the last song of the mass taking place upstairs. Your mother and father have taught you all enough about the different warship practices and prayers to know that it is nearly complete.
(OBLIGATORY: are you SURE you want to walk down the steps? I hadn't posted this yet because I wasn't sure if Cinders was going to try to stop ya :D Just askin...)
(@Wreck: He failed he save, and no one stopped him. So, yes, I'za sure. Time to go to town, or have the town come down on him with the scimitar's of vengeance in hand.)

Pok'im absentmindedly pats the mastiff as if deep in thought. Finally he turns to the rest "Pok'im is sick and tired of these so-called non-filthbloods hurting little people. It is time to do something about it." He picks up the Warhammer and marches off downstairs.
Enraged by the sight of his badly beaten sibling, Vruuk heads off down the stairs. The stairs spiral and twist downward. Before long the stone walls lining the stairwell seem to get rougher and more crude as if they have only recently been constructed. The plate armor the bugbear is wearing will clank and rattle loudly with each quick step down the stairs. Although Vruuk is usually pretty quiet, the new armor is making it hard to be quiet and by the time he gets to the bottom of the steps, the sound of his armor has managed to echo down the stairs and into what appears to be a large open crypt. The bugbear is greeted at the bottom of the steps by what looks a huge stone room full of silver caskets stacked niceley on shelves that are carved into the stone and beautifully engraved. The Room is large with the stone floor in the center removed and replaced with scafalding. looking down into the hole in the center of the room, Vruuk can see what appears to be the majority.. if not all.. of his brothers and sisters, working away with picks and shovels working to dig down to and break through some kind of stone wall.
Roll perception and initiative Vruuk... I might not be able to post anymore tonight however.
***I will say if Pokim is taking off down the steps, unless he is dashing, once combat starts it might be a few rounds or so before he joins the fight but you can just go ahead and roll initiative. also, Carmir and probably Cinders would know that although she is no longer dying at the moment, she is still in very bad shape and will not be walking on her own or doing much else anytime soon without magical healing. You think it might take a few days of resting before she is able to do much***.
Knowing not what to expect save more heavily armored kidnappers, Vruuk walked with scimitars in hand, and a barely contained growl of growing rage at the back of his throat. "What the..." He trails off, ire dying at the sight of his brothers and sisters alive, but... digging?

(OOC: Didn't realise that Vruuk had already left - not sure what happened there. Anyway to cut a long story short, Pok'im will dash after Vruuk - your call on how long it takes for him to get there!)
Carmir turns as Pok'im runs out of the cell. "Where is he —?" He looks at Cinders. "We can't leave this little one here. And we really shouldn't take her with us." The tiefling looks worried and stressed. "Where did those bugbear doofuses go?!"
(I will say since Pokim is dashing and Vruuk wasn't since he was attempting to sneak, that it will take Pokim 2 rounds to get to the bottom, roll initiative Pokim)
So after working frantically to save the kenku, Pok'im takes off running down the stairs leaving The kobold, Tiefling, and mastiff to look after the wounded sister. The large bugbear runs as fast as he can, skipping steps as he leaps his way down towards his brother, trying to catch up as his whips around .
Vruuk on the other hand.... (sorry work is nuts, I will try to post more later)
