You take a moment to catch your breath then continue your descent for another 20 minutes. (Mucor your Conjure spell fades) You notice the absence of any goblin tunnels along any of the caverns you clear along the way. As you come to a southern bend you hear the sounds of a rhythmic chanting, for the spell casters it sounds similar to an incantation. You slowly creep your way forward and peek around the corner. Standing in the middle of a large cavern is a huge statue of Vaeril with large a circular pool of blood around it. Surrounding the statue are multiple cultists along with three individuals dressed differently. A slim shorter hooded figure, a tall hooded figure and a hulking orc with four arms guarded by four death dogs. The two hooded figures have their hands raised and are performing some sort of ritual along with the cultists. A streaming flow of energy circles around the top of the statue and beams of light begin to form between the tall hooded figure and the swirl of energy. You see the shorter figure take out a dagger and slice her hand followed by the tall figure doing the same.
You are about to rush in when a familiar voice calls out to you. This time however it is not from within your mind but from the hooded figure within the cavern. "It appears our honored guests have arrived. Aemyra, Graal prepare to depart. Our work here is done." You slowly move forward while they still have their backs to you.Ameyra responds, "As you wish Daegon, By the power of Vaeril!" You creep ever closer almost compelled to get closer to this spectacle as if entranced by it. The swirl of energy coalesces into a bright orb above the statue then launches itself into Daegon illuminating him in a bright blue aura. "By the Power of Vaeril" the cultists echo as one and all turn to meet your gaze.

(OOC Mucor would have placed some of the dogs into his bag of holding to bring back for Button. Also did we get a short rest durning that break?? Just wondering)

Gaelin will remain where he's at and throw a fireball 5ft in front of Daegon. (trying to get two dogs, cultist and the big three) DC17 Dex or take 35 on fail half on success.
I'll inspire Aryn singing, "We don't need no cultist nation, We don't need your mind control. Hey! Daegon leave those kids alone."

Gaelin's hand twists and a glowing red bead forms in his palm. He flings the bead forward in a shimmering arc that explodes in front of Daegon. The cultist is instantly turned to ash. Aemyra, Graal and one of the dogs take the brunt of the explosion but as the flame clears you see Daegon smiling pulling out his hands preparing a spell of his own.
Aryn will pull back her bowstring release an arrow at Daegon. Then will run NW- 30ft and dash W- 15ft so that she is completely obscured from view in the northern nook.
Aryn’s arrow sinks into Daegon’s abdomen. You watch him flinch and grit his teeth at the pain but he returns to his sinister smile. He looks to Aemyra and says, “Pick one”4. Then turning to Graal he says, “Not today, you’ll get your fun soon.” You watch as Aemyra releases a spell but you don’t see a visible effect. Then both Aemyra and Graal walk towards Daegon placing their hands on him. All three in unison say, “By the power of Vaeril” then disappear. A split second passes then suddenly a huge explosion of flame occurs right under your feet.
- Jinara- Make a DC 18 WIS save - Everyone but Aryn (freakin lucky) make a DC 18 Dex save or take 43 fire damage, half on success.
Mucor staggers a moment as flames erupt around him, scorching his homs and wooden armor. Red embers would glow throughout his singed hair and charred armor as the flames recede. Letting out a loud snort that sends soot shooting form his nostrils, he will run towards the mass of enemies as spores swirl around him. As he makes his way towards the cultists, the end of his staff will glow as he casts healing word (at 3rd level). Quickly some of his wounds will begin to close as smoke and spores billow behind the charging minotaur.

You can use Wild Shape to awaken the spores that infuse you to gain +36 temp HP, roll double damage dice for your Halo of Spores damage, and deal 1d6 additional poison damage when you hit with a melee weapon attack. These all last for 10 minutes, or until you lose all these temporary hit points, or until you use your Wild Shape again.
Jinara would like to use his reaction, spending 1 sorcery point for Distant Spell, to cast Counterspell at 4th Level on the spell that made them disappear. (Let me know if I need to roll against the spell level)
Jinara WIS Save = 19
Jinara DEX Save = 21
Zinmaer DEX Save = 25 (Zinmaer will use Evasion to reduce damage to zero due to the save)
(That's why i spent the sorcery point to extend the range)

When you cast a spell that has a range of 5 ft. or greater, you can spend 1 sorcery point to double the range of the spell (or make the range 30 ft. for a spell with a range of touch).

The modifier is the same so I'll keep my previous roll since I saved. Is that 15 the failed total or saved total?

(@Gaelin- unfortunately no, Shield master doesn't work the same as Evasion where you can take half if you fail. It only works if you succeed.)
(@Jinara, you would know that they are more than 60ft away so counterspell would be of no use but you can still cast it if you want.)

Shield master only works with spells that directly target you... so probably not.
