A first look at Zinmaer after the battle would reveal a bruised and battered exterior, but a strong will and spirit was still as fierce as ever within. Zin would reply, "I will join you Aryn to scout out the area."

Scouts:Aryn and Zinmaer search the area to the east and north finding no signs of drekthar forces within 5 miles. Aryn you manage to kill 3 deer that you bring back to camp with Zinmaer and the griffons help. The troops are overjoyed at the sight of hearty food and their morale is boosted after the bloody battle. Jinara and Doom Tail search the south and west but find no evidence of drekthar within 5 miles.
Gaelin & Mucormake their way to the combination of tents that make up the triage area of camp and find 43 soldiers suffering from various wounds. You make your rounds assisting the medics with bandages and administering herbal remedies. You manage to save 48 of the soldiers (your combined medicine score plus 50% for Spare the dying). Ten soldiers expire while you make your rounds and Mucor aids in their burial.
The afternoon passes into evening and you are shown to a large tent where you find 5 cots a small lamp and table prepared for your group. The evening passes and you arise refreshed and ready for a day of travel. You make your way to the commander's tent and take a final look at the map to track your journey to Traes.
(If you'd like to do anything else the previous evening or in the morning before you depart feel free to post.)

Aryn will go out again by herself in the early morning and hunt for more food. She'll wake up Calypso and instruct him to fly above her while she hunts. If she gets a kill she'll call him down to assist in dragging the animal/s back to the camp.
After about an hour of hunting she'll return to camp for good and take a good hard look at the map. She'll confirm their location and the location of Traes then draw a mini sketch of the map of everything they would pass over on their journey. (Mountains, rivers, etc)
Gaelin will visit the triage tents after dinner before going to rest and will use his remaining 6th spell slot to cast Mass Cure Wounds on the six worst looking soldiers and his 1st slot to cast cure wounds on another soldier. He'll walk a short distance away from the camp and use his last spell slot (3rd) to cast Sending and will target Daegon.
"It must be tough hearing my voice as the realization of Graal's death hits you. My condolences. You'll see him soon enough. Light overcomes."
Gaelin will await Daegon's response before returning to the camp and will find Valeera. He'll sit with her and say. "Whatever happens in the coming days I want you to know I care deeply for you. I will do everything in my power to protect you. When we finally face Daegon again... I... I don't know if I want you to be there. I'm afraid of what he may do to you. You are free to choose but it may be better to have you protect the castle in case he tries to run away again."
After speaking with Valeera he'll stay the night beside her outside the group's tent and ritual cast Tiny hut around himself and as many of the group that he can. (It says 10 foot radius so can I be in one corner of it outside the tent and have the other 15 feet be the tent and group?)

Aryn manages to find and kill 2 deer and 7 rabbits while out hunting. The thrill of the hunt makes you loose track of time and you bearings. You quickly find yourself lost in the woods wandering deeper than you intended. Were it not for Calypso flying above you you might have been lost for hours. You return to the camp with your haul to a skeptical but content group who are none the wiser to your unintentionally prolonged hunt.
(Roll a Sleight of Hand check for the map)
Gaelin, your healing saves two soldiers from infection and another from a potential amputation. The soldiers prop themselves up feeling restored but still exhausted and thank you. As you seclude yourself and contact Daegon you wait for nearly a full minute before his voice enters your mind. "A brave but foolish thing to do boy. All victories require sacrifice. Perhaps I should teach you. Like fire, Light is easily snuffed out." You return to camp and speak with Valeera. "I care for you as well. I appreciate your concern. We can discuss it when that time comes but for now we must focus on the task at hand." You bed down and cast your spell creating a dome of protection around yourself and your companions in the tent.
Aryn, you make a pretty good mini map with markers and notes of the area between camp and Traes. Looking over the map you gauge it will take about three days to reach Traes if you travel at a fast pace for 8 hours a day. Gaelin, you awake to find Aryn is missing and fear the worst for a few minutes until you see Calypso is also missing. You remain uneasy but hopeful that Aryn is just off joy riding or hunting. You feel a burden lifted as you see her approach from the west with the carcasses of multiple kills. The cheers of the troops calm you and set your mind at ease. (Lucky you put up your tiny hut. Spells can’t penetrate it.)
The group prepares for a few days of travel and bid farewell to the army camp. The soldiers cheer and wave as you fly off to the east towards Traes, thankful for the heroes who saved them from destruction. The air is cool for most of the morning while the rising sun partially blinds your vision until mid-day. The travel is easy and relatively boring but breathtakingly beautiful as you soar above the forests, lakes and fields as you approach the first of many mountain ranges.
Are you traveling at a slow stealthy pace, normal pace, or fast pace?
How many hours each day are you traveling? More than 10 hours of travel will require a constitution check to avoid exhaustion.
I need a survival check with advantage (map) & a perception check from 2 people
Stealth check from all for setting up camp. (Assume Mucor will cast pass without a trace so add 10 to your normal modifier)
Jinara and DoomTail return to camp after finding nothing to the south. They eat and make their way to the tent and pass out. Before Jinara falls asleep, he thinks (or prays, depending on how this is interpreted) "If there is a way to stop this carnage, I wish I knew..."

(I feel like fast pace is best since we can avoid most threats by flying. 10 hours of travel? I don't want to push the griffons too hard but I'd be fine with one CON save if we want to rush.)
The first day goes by without an issue. Zinmaer and Mucor observe the area and compare it to the map Aryn created and guide the group through a valley of the mountain chain. You find a small outcrop of boulders and make camp quietly. You see a pair of wolves but they give you a wide berth as they stroll across a ridge to the east. Aryn kills a few rabbits and you prepare a fire and spit. As the sun drops, so does the temperature at the high altitude. You curl into your bedrolls and enjoy the warmth of the nearby fire. You wake and set off on your second day making good progress traveling quickly across the landscape taking a few breaks to stretch your legs and eat. You pass through another valley following a wide river that twists between the mountains. You watch as storm clouds approach from the lower valley and you fly for an hour through heavy rain before exiting into a clear sky. The sun warms and dries your bodies as you continue towards your goal. As you cross over the final mountain range the landscape shifts from tall rocky spires and cliffs to gentle rolling hills and fields. The evergreen trees quickly turn to deciduous oaks and fruit trees. You pass over vast farmland along the slower moving river. You find a small open meadow in the middle of a forest and make camp for the night. The griffons are thankful for rest and quickly huddle together and fall asleep. The hot, humid summer air is inescapable and you find yourself laying on top of your bedrolls or in makeshift hammocks to stay cool.
Jinara, in the middle of the night you sleep restlessly, your mind still reviewing information and calculating plans to end the war. You are shaken awake by a hand gently clutching your shoulder. You look up and see a shrouded female figure who places her finger on your lips telling you to be quiet. You shake your head and blink rapidly trying to clear your head from sleep and see the figure more clearly as the figure pull back the hood of her cloak. Davara stands above you and motions to follow. As you stand you feel your body lifted slightly and look down. You are hovering about 6 inches above the ground floating behind Davara. You make your way into the open meadow and find a small glowing pool of water. You approach the edge and look down into the pool. You see your reflection just as Davara reaches out her arm and drops a bead of water into the pool. The ripples flow from the center of the pool and you are plunged into your reflection. You vision changes into a moving overhead view of a city. The city appear to be under bombardment from trebuchets far in the distance. Siege towers creep forward as a sea of bodies move towards the city walls. Suddenly a flash of red breaks across the sky to the east as a trebuchet explodes into flame. A second and third flash of light as two more trebuchets go up in flame. Closer to the wall, the earth around a siege tower erupts upward and the tower collapses into an adjacent tower crushing the nearby hordes in their rubble. Your view continues its path away from the city to the west where a small cluster of orcs and ogres sit atop a cliff observing the battlefield. Two wisps of black smoke pierce and slash through the orcs and ogres. A sharp pain hits the back of your mind and you jerk awake. The moon sits high in the sky and you look around to see your sleeping companions. You feel a drip of water hit you shoulder and you look up to see the clear night sky. You reach up and touch your head and find it completely soaked.
"(breathing heavily)...My lady..." Jinara says. He processes to try and figure out everything; the pool of water, the city, the orcs and ogres on the cliff. (does any of it look familiar?) He immediately rummages through his bag and pulls out some parchment along with a quill and ink and draws and/or describes everything he can remember to capture this. While writing, Jinara will get out of bed and walk over to the griffons and will rub his hand down the back of DoomTail as to not startle him and will sit and lean up against him. Jinara continues to write any detail of his dream.
When he feels he is finished, he will look up at the moon in the sky and think (pray) "My lady. Thank you. Your presence is renewing. I am sorry for wavering faith. After the temple, I thought only negative of the clerics and temple acolytes and only trusted in myself. I did not forget your tenants, but I have not been faithful to you. Guide me to your knowledge. Show me what I need to know to clarify this vision." He takes a deep breath, lets his eyelids close slowly and leans fully back against DoomTail.
You have never visited Traes but given the description from Reynala, your current path and the vision you discern you had a glimpse of Traes being besieged. Whether the vision was that of the past or future is uncertain. As you write down and rack your mind recalling every second of the vision pieces of the images begin to clear. Two of the explosions by the trebuchets were caused by fireballs but the third was a distinct line of flame. The eruption of earth under the siege tower was eerily familiar to a spell that Mucor utilizes. You close your eyes tightly trying to bring back the images of the two wisps of smoke and the dark clouds seem to materialize as a slender figure with a bow and a tall stout figure with a bladed staff.
As the pictures and meaning flood your mind the realization of a strategy hits you. Davara is showing you the best way to defeat the Drekthar besieging Traes. As the realization hits you hear a soft voice in the back of you head. "Fools believe overwhelming numbers create power. Is a river not conquered by a dam? True power is the knowledge of knowing where to direct the attack."
