"I believe you are correct. Our combined strength should be able to remove any threats while some focus on creating magical barriers. However, magic cannot be used within or enter the anti-magic field. As soon as a magic touches the field it dissipates like a torch falling into the water... Perhaps it would be better if you were to see it for yourselves. A word of caution... there will be lycans guarding the bridge so be quiet and observe before taking any rash action." Rowan warns then guides you outside to a large tree where you see a portal open and you quickly step through. As you exit the other side of the portal you enter into a dense forest. Shrubs and flowers bloom despite the air being much cooler here and the ground seems a bit more stiff from the cold. The sun sits lower in the sky showing only a quarter of its surface and shades the area in a deep orange-red hue. Rowan motions to be silent and casts a spell Mucor would recognize as Pass Without Trace and begins to lead you through the forest. You slowly creep your way over roots and through shrubs that seem to bend around Rowan as she passes by until you approach the edge of the woods. You hear the sounds of a large river of flowing liquid you assume is water and as you approach the edge of the treeline you see a large clear water river that flows quite rapidly. Large toothy fish swim effortlessly through the clear water in search of food while smaller toothy fish seem to swim in small schools and rapidly disperse when a large fish approaches. You pan your vision south and see a long rope bridge that is suspended over the river. Around it stand multiple weretigers, werewolves and wererats. You watch as they eat, converse or stand guard peering into the woods on either side of the river...
A DC 22 perception check will reveal a thin haze around the bridge that represents the outline of the anti-magic field.
Everyone roll a stealth check and initiative (just in case)! Add 10 for Pass without trace.
As you creep your way down near the edge of the tree line Rowan, Aryn, and Mucor duck below a low branch. Jinara, focused on the lycans that surround the bridge walks directly into it and is jabbed in the eye by a small branch. He expels a brief grunt of pain that is quickly extinguished as he stiffens and looks around squinting. The sounds of nature around you die off at the exclamation and a tense moment of silence seems to deafen your ears. The lycans along the west bank tense and the fur on the back of their neck raises in alarm. You hear low growls and see bared teeth, but the lycans are unable to distinguish the exact spot of the sound. One werewolf barks shortly a couple times and you see an immediate reaction on the other side. Both sides scan the tree line in front of them and begin to shift positions. They avoid getting closer, knowing full well the dangers within the forest, but they are on high alert and unable to caught by surprise.
Aryn will slowly draw an arrow and notch it into her bow. She'll keep her eyes on the bridge and the many enemies and ready herself should they move towards them. "Perhaps we should just observe and come back at a later time. Mucor, Gaelin and Jinara use your magic to make some noise somewhere else or bring the nature noise back..." she whispers.
Jinara would look to discern if any look to be casters 12 in response Aryn's comment.
Jinara, knowing he was the cause of the noise, would say telepathically "Stay put. I am going to draw their attention". As he finishes, the small wings on his boots would begin to flap. Jinara would subtly cast Sanctuary on himself and take off out of the woods. His exact path would be to fly just above the ground below the tree canopy due east towards the river. As soon as he breaks the tree line, he would fly (Dash) at a 45 degree line an additional 30 ft towards the water and act like he is dusting off his robes after just hitting tree limbs. (I think I should be about 20-30 ft in the air at this point and would intentionally not "notice" the bridge until Jinara next round when Jinara is over the water.)
(Xtra: I am going for a performance & deception combo, but will not engage in discussion until they speak first or run to confront me and stop me from crossing the river. Depending on what you do will determine my RP and when my rolls will be required. If the enemy does not engage, Jinara would continue to fly until he entered the tree line on the other side of the water)
"What?" Gaelin whispers back watching in partial horror as Jinara casually walks out of the trees and moves towards the river. His hand will crackle with eldritch arcane energy as he holds Eldritch Blast aiming at the northernmost weretiger.
(Jinara- you are still 80 feet from the water's edge and we'll say 30 feet in the air. Roll either deception or intimidation for your response.)
Two weretigers and the werewolf on the northern side of the bridge slowly approach Jinara as he hovers above the ground and makes his way nonchalantly towards the river. One of the weretiger's shouts up at you in a low grumbly voice. "Halt. This bridge is under the Hive's control. You must pay the toll before you cross." The other lycans all take notice and shift their attention towards Jinara, some raising their heavy crossbows at the floating humanoid.
Torq will draw his weapons and watch eagerly as Jinara crosses over into the open. "Can you do your portal thing to get us to the other side quickly? If so, we can take the far side while they handle this side." he asks Aryn and he'll move south slowly away from the group and hope Aryn follows closely behind.
"I had considered turning into an animal of some kind to make it appear that there was no threat.. but I suppose this might work also?" Mucor mentions as he looks towards Jinara as he approaches the river.

Jinara will continue flying towards the river continuing to climb dusting his robes off pretending as if he didn't hear the statement. As he flies, he will rub his ring of spell storing and cast greater invisibility and maintain his sanctuary as he anticipates shots being fired.
Deception roll for acting like I didn't hear what he said 14
(Wow I am not very deceptive...Let's see how this goes lol...)

Jinara stares down at the lycans wordlessly and nervously fidgets with his ring as he continues to move towards the river up to a height of 40 feet. A bead of sweat appears on his forehead and he finally disappears as the weretiger exclaims, "I see you." The weretiger takes 4 long steps before leaping 40 feet into the air towards Jinara's last location. The aim is off however and the claws that reach out to grab Jinara's invisible form grasp nothing but air. The weretiger looks around the sky angrily and searches for you.
Jinara- make another stealth check with advantage but no PWT bonus.
Everyone else sees Jinara disappear into nothingness and watches as the weretiger leaps into the air and lands like a cat on all fours before standing upright and looking up to the sky. Mucor would hear Rowan as she leans over to Valeera and says, "Is this how they always are?" Valeera smiles and nods. "Adorable aren't they."
“Well I can certainly help kill any threats while the magic users do their thing.” Torq says.
“I’m with Torq. Between the two of us and Valeera, we should be able to cover you all. When do we start?” Aryn asks
"I will help as well" Mucor would reply with a nod.
"Im not strong in the art of melee, but if magic can effect creatures on the bridge, then I am good to go as well"
