Necromancer's Delusion-Homebrew

(You have about 20 minutes left on the telepathic bond.)

Jinara- Cedany's eyes flare and she bows graciously to you.  "Thank you.  I...I will do my best to conceal my emotion from the others.  I will return shortly."  she says before exiting the garden.  The instructors watch curiously and Falk scowls.  "Are we not free to go as well?" he asks curtly.

"Of course." Torq replies in his mind and quickly heads towards the garden.  As soon as he finds Aryn and whoever he's picking up he'll drop from the sky and land directly next to them.  "I understand you have an interest in flight.  Let's begin."  Torq says then rages, muscles in his wings and chest flexing and leap into the air and grab Celaser's shoulder's tightly interlocking his sharp talons in the crook of his armpit.  He'll lift him gently for the first 10-20 feet making sure his prey... I mean tandem partner isn't resisting.  Either way, after about 20 feet he'll fly straight up as fast as he can.

Grapple:  30

Once he's about 200 feet up he'll say, "Alright, at this point it's very important that you don't wiggle around much or I might..." and he'll drop Celaser intentionally then immediately dive to catch him and suspend their fall before they impact the ground.  

Athletics:  24

(Dain and Calesar are both out of sight of the other instructors?)

(Dain is within sight but not necessarily ear shot if you speak regularly.  The garden is roughly 150x200feet.  Celaser is definitely out of sight and earshot.)

Torq- Though Celaser protest and resists your avian iron grip prohibits him from wriggling free.  "Unhand me you deviant fowl." he shouts until you make it 40 feet up then he goes still.  "Whoa Whoa Whoa, don't let go... don't let go..."  he pleads as the instructors look up to this strange sight.  You rapidly climb and climb going higher and higher until you reach your desired altitude.  You look down and see the half in shock Celaser looking up and down shaking his head.  As you begins speaking Celaser begins to groan then as he's released a high pitched squeal emits from his throat.  You dive nimbly as your body naturally glides through the air and grasp him in your arms 80 feet from the ground.    (Do you return to the ground or take him up again?)

Jinara turns back to the group, looks at Varian with eyes asking "are we finished with them?"

"If you have no further questions for them they have all been truthful.  Though, my time with this is running low.  I can maintain it only for another 20 minutes.  If you wish to take them with us we can as long as Gaelin still has enough magic left in him to teleport." Varian replies motioning to Dain and Celaser then turns and looks at Jinara intently.  

Jinara- you hear Varian's voice in your head. "We did not come to make more waves at your old temple.  I do not disapprove of your actions but I would tread lightly when massaging another's ambition.  Though chances must always be taken in order to succeed, hasty decisions have lead to both great and disastrous things."    

"You are free to go" he says to the instructors.  Telepathically he says to Aryn "bring him back. It's time for us to go. "

Jinara waits for everyone to return. " I have a question of the group. One of the instructors has expressed a desire to enter into the fray of battle. Only by unanimous vote can she come since this is a hasty discovery. She has disclosed cleric like abilities with a combat desire. This decision will change the hierarchy of the temple and leave a void of an instructor which we will have no knowledge of if she comes with us. Take a moment and decide,  but decide quickly as our hold on Wymeron grows short and we need to contain him for questioning. "

Evelyn smiles and is the first to speak, "Any who have the desire to leave should be free to do so.  She is an adult.  Though she would be missed, she would be in good company." a few of the others nod in agreement and converse amongst themselves while Falk stands arms crossed with his familiar frown. He raises one hand and the others quiet down.  He turns to Jinara and says, "This is how you should have departed...  Cedany will make a fine paladin for Davara and an excellent ally.  I can think of no one better than the Lightbringers for her to study and grow with.  If she wishes to return she will always be welcome... as will you." Falk adds with a small nod to Jinara then turns to the instructors. "This temple has served as a beacon of truth and knowledge for the city.  It is apparent now that we have failed the people and should reexamine ourselves.  Changes must be made in order for progress to occur.  The will of Davara be done.  All those in favor..." he says as a final word.  The other instructors all stand silently nodding and say in near unison, "Aye".

(I have teleport.)

Gaelin holds up his hand and says, "Slow down.  I know you're head is probably a bit shaky at the moment so just stay calm.  He's not going anywhere and we'll need you to come with us.  There are a few more questions we'd like answered."

Persuasion:   24

(Xtra I am so sorry I wasnt more clear in my post. My intention for "everyone" was all the Lightbringers. I am fine RPing this direction as I think it has a bit more flare and the overwhelming affirmation is heartwarming. I still want to pull the Lightbringers together as their voice matters in this decision also.)

"I believe Cedany will make a fine addition to our group." Mucor would add with a nod. 

(hahaha, opps I completely misread that.  My bad.)

(No worries! its nice to know that the temple gave such positive affirmation lol)

"Sure, why not.  It will be interesting to see and test her skillset and it'll add another girl to the mix with the twins and I.  Better watch out, we're coming for you boys."  Aryn says smiling.

“Don’t forget Valeera... Cedany will be a welcomed addition, though they might have us whipped now. ” Gaelin adds with a chuckle and playfully jabs an elbow into Mucor’s side. 

Telepathically "Torq, bring him back. I need your input on something."

Jinara will look over a Kelgos & Valeera "You both have a voice that holds merit. What say you?"

Mucor would smile and glance towards Aryn and then Valeera. "Who are you kidding... we were whipped long before meeting Cedany" He would reply to Gaelin with a snort through his nose and a smile on his face. 

"Headed down."  Torq replies and will fall the majority of the way just to hear Celaser scream again then open his wings and slow their descent for a nice slow landing.  He'll let go of Celaser about 10 inches from the ground about 15 feet from the group and land beside him saying, "Stay right there.  If you move we'll see how low you can fall before I can catch you." 

He'll trot over to the group and ask Jinara what need he has of him while keeping an eye on Celaser. Assuming he tells me of Cedany's potential addition, Torq will nod and say, "Why not.  The twins and I can use another sparring partner."  

As the instructors leave and retake their places Valeera and Kelgos enter the garden informing you of no escapees.  Valeera smiles and looks to Varian and says, "Interesting beings aren't they?  So accepting and compassionate of others and yet so deadly...  I will gladly accept anyone who has gained your favor and trust."  she adds turning back to the group.

Kelgos cocks his head in confusion. "You hardly know me... why should I have a voice?  I'm fine with whoever you all decide to bring into whatever this... group is..."  he says looking around at each person in the group.  

About that time you hear another high pitched scream and watch Torq rapidly descend to the ground but lands quite easily.  Celaser collapses to the ground and pukes nodding at Torq's instruction.  

Jinara nods at affirmation, then looks over at Kelgos holding a long look. He doesn't say anything, then turns his head to watch Torq descend on the group.
