Gaelin- You see the world become shades of color as your vision is augmented. You blink rapidly a few times as your eyes adjust and you look ahead to the keep entrance. You are able to suddenly make out the shape of each structure as you turn around. The moss and ivy seemingly less burdensome as your eyes pick up the minute traces of stone beneath the greenery. Still you see no signs of enemies yet.
Gaelin & Jinara-The group begins to spread as Gaelin starts to point and outline each structure and a solemn silence falls over the ruins. The sun continues to rise into the air shedding more light and causing the long cast shadows to shrink.
Aryn- the steward remains cordial taking your coat and politely bowing with a faked smile. He is not necessarily suspicious of your high standing but of the unannounced visit itself. "Mrs Loramenor is indisposed at this moment. Please, make yourself comfortable while I inform her of your arrival madame?" he says in a question as if to ask your name.
Torq looks at Quentin and nods then walks out of the dining hall saying, "You can train at the monastery if you want. Zinmaer will determine how decent you are."These new comers didn't pose a threat. They may be shady but he knew they'd stand no chance against him let alone the rest of the soldiers within the castle. He'd stop by Maximus, Theodore or the bears guarding the vault and say, "Only the lightbringers are allowed in the vault and glowing circle room. If anyone else tries send word to me."
Gaelin & Jinara- another few second pass and the just as the shdaows from the building slink closer to the decrepit stone walls Kelgos and Gaelin each catch sight of a figure to the southeast. The figure appears humanoid but wretched, skin pale and taught revealing the bulbous bones. You hear what sounds like whispers all around you as it slinks back into the shadows appearing to vanish into the darkness and just become it disappears the last thing you see are its glowing blue eyes that flare just before they vanish.
Gaelin & Kelgos- make a DC 16 Wisdom Saving throw. On a fail you are frightened, if you fail by more than 5 your are paralyzed for 1 minute.
Aryn- The steward bows and takes a short momentary leave of you while you quickly move about the room. You don't find much of note but do notice the family's emblem just as Mucor described on the mantle above each fireplace. A few minutes pass and the steward returns with another individual dressed in a similar fashion. "Lady Loramenor will be down to greet you shortly. She asks that you await her in the lounge. Can I get you anything, warm tea perhaps?" the steward says with a bow.
Torq- Quentin is visibly taken aback by the bluntness but does his best to recover and not show further emotion. "Thank you sir. I hope to prove worthy." he manages to stammer out through gritted teeth.
"Warm tea would be wonderful... with honey please." Aryn replies with another courtsy. She'll follow him into the lounge and take a seat at the couch carefully pulling her dress to the side and turning her legs rather than laying back like she normally would.

Gaelin reflexively conjures a radiant bolt of energy that slams into the creature illuminating its skin so everyone can now see it. It releases a howl of pain from the attack and bares its teeth. You again hear the sounds of moans and whispers from all around you.
Aryn- "Certainly madame." the steward says with a bow and exits leaving the second steward standing at the entrance to the lounge with a smile. The lounge is overly decorated, as many upper class homes are, with numerous portraits, paintings and miniature statues. The haughty furnishings are comfortable but the ornate carvings and multitude of pillows prohibit one from being able to truly relax. After a few minutes your tea is brought to you and is a welcome commodity with the outside being so cold. The tea is made with simple herbs, not too strong and not too sweet. Another 5 minutes pass before an elven woman dressed in elegant but warm attire enters into the lounge with an expression of enthusiasm. Mrs Loramenor is a slender elf with short pointy ears that are almost completely obscured by her long black hair. She bows and says, "Welcome mrs Greenbend. Its a pleasure to meet you. I hoe your travel here wasn't too rough. Anias here said you rode on horseback rather than a carriage. It must've been dreadfully cold."

"It was a chilly morning but I quite enjoy the solitude of riding horseback. There's a certain thrill to it and the delicious tea has rekindled my spirit. Pardon me, where are my manners. Mrs Aurelia Greenbend but please call me Auri. (R-E)" Aryn says standing to her feet with a chuckle and bow. "You have such a beautiful house here. I've only seen the two rooms but I can already congratulate you on your wonderful taste."

Kelgos begins to sprint towards the creature, but abruptly halts himself as a column of fire flies over his head. He pulls his crossbow and fires into the flaming creature

Aryn- You do see a family portrait that includes two children, both girls, who appear to be 6-10 years old. You aren't sure how old the painting is but know there are at least two children in the family. You do notice a small plaster bust of Mr. Loramenor. She seems healthy and genuinely happy to have company. Her hair is a bit disheveled due to the rapidity of getting ready but still passable. You could safely assume that with the weather being as it is, visitors are sparse. She perks up at your compliments and leans over towards you, "Aww. Thank you Auri. Please call me Zilyana. Well if you're all warmed up, then I'd love to take you on a tour of the house. Do you have much time to stay, perhaps for lunch or even dinner?" she asks.

An ethereal bell bongs above the creature's head causing dark blood to drip from nose and ears. Valeera swiftly shifts tot he southeast her tail slamming into the ground and she rears her head back releasing a jet of flame that incinerates the creature. The heat and force of the blast immediately catch part of the jungle on fire and cause the northeast corner of the building to collapse. Only charred bits of flesh and bone remain from the creature. Kelgos moves towards it narrowly stopping in time to dodge the jet of flame and looks over the remains.

Cedany, shaking a bit by the quick encounter and gout of dragon flame, slowly heads towards Kelgos (half speed) looking in all directions. (Assuming she makes it before the next combat, she will do an Investigation check to see if she can discern anything about this creature, anything on its body, etc. 153 = 15
Jinara will reposition directly north of where the creature was (roughly 10 ft to the right of his current position), swipe his boots, and fly up about 15 ft and take a look around for any other movement (Perception 10 )

Gaelin & Jinara- A cool breeze and distinct silence falls over the area. The air around you seems to drop a few degrees instantly and you see your breath as you exhale. Iris cocks her head slightly and moves closer to examine the charred hunks of flesh then turns to look around the area. "This place, the history it has been through... It's haunted. Either through some curse or simply by the terrible fate many met. Sometimes one's soul is not prepared for death and seeks to rebel against fate. This creature is undead. The moans and whispers are from undead." She says looking up into the sky. "We are fortunate to be here during the day. Stay in the sunlight. The shadows will certainly contain more foul creatures. Valeera, be on your guard. Though you are a metallic dragon, I can imagine these creatures have an intense hatred for dragons." Kelgos peers around at the shadows cast by the few standing structures. His intense training with the shadow allows him to see the slightest movement and says pointing, "I can see the shadows shudder. There, over here and there as well. This place must be full of undead."

The table is elegantly engraved along the sides and in the center has the Loramenor crest carved into it. The den is of a similar make to the lounge but has a more relaxed feel to it. The furnishings are quite as fanciful as in the lounge, but are still elegant and built more for use than for looks. Ornate trim and wooden carvings keep the expensive vibe running and you catch a glimpse of another family portrait, this time the girls are older, looking like late teens to early 20's. You can tell now that both have retained more of their mother than their father. Long black hair and green eyes with short pointed ears as opposed to her fathers human ears and lighter hair.
