(Did Blix run over after Roya misty stepped?)

”Sorry Blix, I didn’t see you there.” Roya responds impassively. 

"Is it Izzets? Well, I'dunno any Ranksa Vos, so..." the goblin seems to be a bit confused, yet dodgy.

Meanwhile, elsewhere behind the stage...

"Anska Vos?" The witch seems thoughtful until her face brightens with recognition. "Hoh yes, Master Pivlic's pet human," Izola places her hand upon her bloodied hip, "You say you are looking for her? Well, I believe she threw her lot in with the Boros Legion," she rolls her eyes playfully, but there is a bent of spite in her voice. "She is quite the lovely young woman. A shame she would not become a performer. I do remember seeing her a few nights ago. I believe I noticed her leaving with, hm, some sort of Simic creature I imagine." The blood witch passes both of you a friendly smile, "Does this help, my saviors?"

"Quite a bit, I think." Grishkar raises a hand in thankful piety and bows slightly, "Thankfully the Simics are very...diverse. Can you tell us anything specific about this one?" With Blix off somewhere else, Jeremiah concedes humiliated defeat and lays the bloody hankerchief on Klox's head rather than carry it around.

"Blix is quick on his feetses" He turns his attention to the goblin. "She pretty lady, and friendo of small, bossy impy. You see small impy with human lady?"

"You don't know her?" Rukorm squints at the goblin. "That's bloody curious, considering how nervous you seemed while listening in on the barkeep talk to our comrade. You know the guy, the Vedalken debt collector."

The minotaur innocently taps his hammer into his palm as he squats down to be eye level with the goblin. "Are you really going tell us it was a bloody coincidence you got extra squirrelly once they mentioned Anska Vos?"

Intimidation: 20

"Yes, Blood Witch big help!" Klox cries, using his newly acquired handkerchief to wipe off some blood before tossing it to Giggles to chew on absently. "What sort of crabby-hand, snake-skin, jelly-fish man wander off with rich girl?"

The goblin suddenly seems so small, even smaller than usual as the minotaur uses his full height to intimidate the little one. They sputter and stutter, "I-I, me, I - yes? No? Don't hurt! Please! Looksies, if I talk bad things might happen. To me AND to you!" However, with Rukorm's fiery gaze, the goblin seems to completely shatter. "I heard of Kos, yes. She is liked here. Yes. I saw her leave, yes, with -"

"A bug-man, actually," the blood witch replies. "I remember it quite clearly, yes. The man looked absolutely ghastly. Disgusting really. He had four eyes, all black and beady like a rat's. Large antennae sprung from his forehead," Izola's face twisted at the description. It would appear she either really hated Simic or, perhaps, really hated bugs. "His skin was like a carapace. Truly awful, although," she gave a knowing wink to Klox, "I bet he'd burn quite nicely."

"- and that how he look," the goblin wrings their hands over and over. They look at Blix with a warning. This goblin seemed like a city gob to Blix. Blix grew up out in what wilds were left of Ravnica and he noticed the goblins that grew up in the city were sometimes cowardly if they were guildless. At least Boros goblins and Izzet goblins had some sort of conviction, even if it was mostly BORING. In goblin speak, this one says to Blix, "[Gang war. Two are clashing. Don't get involved. Maybe Dimir. Maybe Golgari. Maybe other. Bad times.]" though, to anyone who doesn't speak goblin, it would sound a bit more like guttural garbage-speak.

"So we's looking for a creepy Kraul...y?" Klox grins, looking over to Grishkar. "Finding a Simic bug-man should not be so hard."

"Exactly my dear friend," Izola nods and crosses her arms. "I have not seen one like that before. Those Simic are truly something." The words come more as an insult than anything.

Blix smiles at the mention of Golgari, he turns to the others. "He say that we need to be the carefuls. Boring stuffs really. Something 'bout fightings, but fightings are fun! Lot's of tasty pains and gores in fightings!" Blix gurgles his own spit and launches a big glob at the cowards feet before enthusiastically replying in goblin. "[You is needing family. Boring with no fun! Gets into Rakdos, you can be pain-dummy. Bestest job! Nightmare clowns funny too, but Blix no fan of makeups."]

"Oh, joy," Grishkar groans, "The Simic are always searching for their 'perfected self' like slapping on some extra legs or horns will make them more complete, no offense," he gives a nudge to Rukorm. "Now, if it's the golgari, there might be some potential there. Maybe a favor I can call in. Don't give me that look Jeremiah, he's perfectly fine."

"[B-Bah! No! I not do that. Rakdos crazy! You crazy! I go now. Excuse me...]" The gobbo shakes his head and walks off.

"I'll do you one better, my friend," the lovely blood witch grins, "I've seen the Golgari much as of late. Maybe that is how you will find your friend. They seem to be swarming the upper levels these days. You heard no such thing from me, but," Izola looks around mischievously, "I heard a particular gang of them have taken refuge on the outskirts of the Red Wastes. If you head out that way, take care that you anger no Gruul."

Blix looks at Roya and Rukorm, "So bug-folk gots girl. We knows that now."  As Blix realizes that the bloodwitch has exited the stage his eyes grow shifty as he peers at the stage curtain. "Blix have business backstage. Be meetings you soon." Blix heads backstage to the others and Izola. 

Izola's face twists from pleasure to scorn as she immediately spots Blix. However, that expression shifts back quickly. Only those with a passive perception of 14 or better would have noticed it happen at all. Of course, Blix notices this automatically. He is finely tuned to take pleasure in her discomfort and pain.

"Oh. It's you, darling."

"Hey, gobbo," Rukorm calls as the goblin walks off. "I never got your name." This guy could be a helpful information tap later, and the bull figured it would be good to be able to look him up.

Intimidation (if necessary)- 17

After the goblin leaves, Rukorm turns to Roya. "So our next suspects a bloody bug..." he sighs as he rubs his eyes. "That at least narrows it down, but this bloody thing could be some natural person or one of the bloody Combine's abominations. I've got a friend with the Boros who might be able to help find this guy, but it could be hard without specific info." The mintotaur grunts for a second as he searches his limited knowledge of xenobiology for anything relevant.

Nature check to speculate on what the bug could be- 8

"Yeah I got nothing. You have an idea what this guy could be, Doc?"

Grishkar puzzles over the details for a moment, "Dear Izola, you said a 'bug-man', yes? Would it be a kraul or a Simic adept? I have a...familiarity with some of the kraul and they are certainly different than the amalgamations that decided to form a proper Guild."

(Side note: Been getting into a 40k story series a bit and the Simic are ringing very similar to tech-priests in that they actively augment themselves to shed their mortal/inferior forms.)

"Blix just came to say that you ugly and your show is bad. Also you not with Spatula. Blix be going get spanks tomorrow. You no show up like last time or Blix gonna chop some fingers!" After yelling at the Izola he doesn't even wait for an answer and turns heel. But stops right outside the door to hear what she says about him to his newfound companions. 
Stealth: 18

Klox just stands there almost dumbfounded. "B...but show was good! People like Klox!"  Absently he wipes at a dampness forming along the rim of his eye, inadvertently smearing blood from his sleeve across his cheek in the process. Looking up at Grishkar, Klox steels his expression a bit. "Let's go get rich girl from Red Wastes. Klox probably still have cousin or two out there that might seen something."

"Sounds good," Grishkar admits, "My dear, I do look forward to your next performance, and I will be sure to carry a spatula in your honor when I travel with little Blix."

A devious smile plays on Izola's lips, "Oh, please be sure to do so. That little wannabe is hardly deserving of Spatula's advances. How that man toys with us both..." She sighs, "Perhaps I will visit him while you keep that one distracted. Hm hm hmm"
