Assuming everyone is back around one table and caught up on the individual information...
"So, we have several options but I think it boils down to fundamentally who's request we delve into first... In either case, we will need to resupply, and take up lodgings for the night to rest, for I don't fancy setting out on anything with half the day behind us and an evening venturing into unknown regions. So, we can embark with Hosvi to gather some initial reconnaissance on this laboratory, then use whatever time we have left to resupply, explore the town, or otherwise productively amuse ourselves before being back here to meet Adridd for our evening engagement. Then, we can make a decision on what our most prosperous course seems to be, and make an early start on it in the morning."
Landrae looks around at each of her comrades with a small chuckle and a warm smile, "Have I missed anything in that rather curt summary of our current circumstances? For you know I do cut things short all too often."
"If this creature is inside the town walls, we should set upon it and be done before we meet Elron here in the evening. Then tomorrow we hunt again, but for bandits."
Jack looks to his comrades with a feeling of confidence, it’s a solid group that he has befriended. “Well my vote is to have Hosvi show us where this laboratory is located so we can see during the day where it is and what is around it. Maybe even see if anyone is home. Then gather supplies needed for a possible road trip to meet the Scorpion. Bed down for the night, and meet up with Elrond in the morning. Everything else we can play by ear?”
"I've secured us rooms for the time being. So knowing we've got a place to lay our heads, I'm ready to see what kind of fun we can get into here."Using his glaive as a staff and pushing himself up from the table with it. "Lead the way."
To Svorga he says "we'll take rooms and board for at least the night. While we're out, if the fat elf returns please tell him that we'll be back to speak with him later."
"A sound idea Duncan. How many did you get?" Landrae smiles wickedly at the young man, her chest slightly more pronounced than normal, in an obvious attempt to cause Duncan to flush a little.
"OK then my friends, Kai unless you have any objections, it seems like the consensus is to go with Hosvi to this lab and therein see what this aberration that has inspired such fear is about. The aim being to reveal and undo the beast, by brains or by blade, this very afternoon, and as the saying is so told 'be home by supper'" Landrae laughs aloud at her own jest but encouraged at the real possibility considering the men around her. "Though I do concur with Jack's caution, and should we find anything that suggests this is more than an afternoon stroll, we stop and re-evaluate our path. For we know very little at this stage, beyond the remembered murmurings of a terrified man, some days after the event."
Landrae checks her pack, acknowledging Elber's diligence in the matter, as she stows her pipes and takes quick stock of her readiness.
Svorga refuses to acquiesce to Duncan's demands until the silver is in her hand. Once the money is secured, however, she brightens and nods. "I'll fix up the rooms for your return." She says, scurrying off in the manner of a rat.
Hosvi tosses a few coins onto the table and leads the way out of the Bloody Thorn. A light drizzle begins to descend as you make your way down the dirty cobblestone street, forming puddles beneath your feet. Hosvi takes several sharp turns down dark alleys and back streets, and within ten minutes you have lost all sense of direction. The tall dwarf leads you across a bridge which spans a shallow river and you find yourselves in the disreputable slums of Thithladroth. Here Hosvi pauses. "You'll find Fosa's laboratory just outside the dump. I go no further."
“Can you be more exact than that since I do not no where the dump is” says Jack with a hint of sarcasm. “Also, how do we recognize which building is Fosa’s?”
Hosvi is no longer content to answer questions at leisure. "You'll recognize the dump by it's foul stench. Fosa's laboratory is a brick building directly across from it. I wish you the best of luck." Gathering his dragonscale cloak about his thin shoulders he hurries back across the bridge.
"Let us see what we can see, carefully." Kai draws his scimitar. "Jack, I Assume you will get closer. When you are ready to investigate, let me cast resistance on you."
Kai will cast Resistance on Jack if he is going to get closer.
I interrupt Kai before he casts anything. “Let’s find the house before we do anything. If people see me sneaking around they may get the wrong idea. Let’s just walk up there. I’m sure if there was some horror roaming around, there would be some pandemonium in the streets.”
Jack tries to find the dump by using his sense of smell. Perception: 17
Glaive at the ready, Duncan will follow Jack helping to keep an eye out both for the Lab, as well as for anything else that would appear to be a danger. PERCEPTION20

"I agree with Jack, we need not seem outwardly hostile to invite that which we could avoid, but let your hands never be too far from your hilts or hafts." Landrae checks her purse is safe, then belts her rapier up and lays her hand on it.
@DM OOC - how busy are the streets in the slums? Also, would Landrae have had chance to ask about Hosvi's cloak on the journey over? If so, insight 5 into whether he was hiding anything about it. If not or he wouldn't talk, no worries :-)
Hosvi ignores any further questiins and is soon lost to sight.
The streets are populated only by rats and the odd suspicious passerby. The contrast between the grey slums and the colorful town across the bridge is startling, providing insight on the poverty almost a quarter of Thithladroth's inhabitants are forced to live in. Without too much trouble you locate the dump: a massive fenced area in the center of the slums, foul liquid pooling at your feet and a noxious smell pervading the surrounding area. Across from the dump stands a small brick building, with boarded windows and a sagging roof. Landrae's keen eye detects that one of the windows is shattered and hastily covered with a black tarp. The door is securely locked.
"I guess this is the place. Definitely smells like shit around here. Any sign of anything unnatural though? The house doesn't even look lived in from here."
Landrae walks forward and knocks on the door, waiting briefly to see if there is any answer... "If it appears no-one is in, then I guess we need to let ourselves in. Shall we climb through the window - since the watch probably aren't too quick to respond hereabouts, or would Duncan like to knock a little harder?"

From what Jack can tell, Hosvi is sincerely terrified.

INSIGHT: 7 (setting DC low to 10 since it's obvious... oh low roll)
Blushing a bit, Duncan says "we...well. I got 3 rooms. One for me and Elber. One for Jack and Kai. And another for you..."
