The group literally blunders forward. They arrive into the clearing. Shade struggles not to glare at the others.
The garden has been trampled and the body of a human man sprawls, head in the upturned earth, just on the edge. Two arrow-shafts are sticking from its back.
Valayx magic enhanced vision focuses on a moving target inside the main house. It is tinged with summoning magic.
Bethany's ears already trained on the sound of the orcs knows that one of hose is inside barking orders about finding the ledger. Winning voices reply but she doesn't recognize them.
Shade holds his claws up and signal the others that several humanoids are inside.
Dook speaks in a hushed tone, "What are we to do at this juncture? They are obviously looking for something and are not concerned with the life ofthese kind folk judging by what they've done to that poor lad..."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ward looks around at his companions and sighs, taking of his hat and passing it to Bethany, "Please, for the love of your god, don't let me die." He then walks out into the open and starts loudly strumming his lute in order to get the Orc's attention on him and draw them out. Passing himself off as attempting to woe the creatures, he sings a ballad.
Wearing a playful expression he smiles but mouths to the side in a hushed voice, "Being bait." Taking a glance and seeing that the Orcs have yet to exit the building, he continues, "You know how irresistible I am." He's gonna shake his head to the side as he keeps trying to drag the Orcs attention, motioning for her to get out of sight.
Inside the house all has gone silent, almost as if time seemed to stop, as Ward starts to sing.
Then, still inside the house, a flurry of movements and pounding feet explodes into action. Another muffled voice squeeky and grating at the same time begins to chant.
The other creature seem to head for the lone window in the upper room and the front door.
So with your roll and with Detect Magic you realise that the Orc that is inside the house and is barking orders is probably a summoned creature and that it is more than it seems. The orc has a strange magical aura you don't recognise. It is intriguing and frightening at the same time. ( Because you know a lot )
You also realise that there are 6 other creatures inside the house and that they are surely goblins.
"Fascinating. Truly fascinating." Dr. Valayx comments as they approached. "Signs indicate of a half dozen goblins, with perhaps an orc caster whom is within argument with a summoned being. My theory would be that a fiend is attempting to not have its control asserted over, alas we shall see shortly."
Dook moves to behind Ward (or as close as he can).
"The God of Guardians grants you his protection, my friend!" Dook says out to Ward as his emblem starts glowing brighter. (Bonus action: shield of faith on Ward)
He then addresses the intruders, "But he does not look kindly on what you've done." A brilliant flame materializes and awaits above the entrance (ReadySacred flame for first goblin outside: DC15).
(Placeholder for my turn. Based on what the orc does, this may change. But Valayx will probably be using Sleep at 2nd level towards where the goblins are, so inside the entrance to the house.)
Crouching behind the corner, Shade cast Shadow Blade (at 3rd level) and readies the blade to throw at the Orc if it appears or the 3rd goblin, whichever walks out first.

Sorry about the "manipulated die roll" thing. I was just adding my disadvantage roll. My original Perception roll was 20.

All can hear that they are ransacking the place.
