An adventure which would (hopefully) have 6-8 players. Everything here is homebrew, but select UA (FvS, RR, Kensei, Forge, AA) are allowed.
Backstory: Despite the Dark Lord, Cyro being slain many years ago and the Black Land's forces decimated too, evil still exists, and now, an ancient primordial of darkness is rising under the world of Cranas. You heroes will need to collaborate with both good and evil in order to protect the one thing they all wish to have or to keep - the World.
If you want to make a character, use 82 points (max = base + 12, add modifiers to your base 82), give a backstory, and fill in your character sheet. Choose a PHB feat, or request one from me, roll for money. Your hit points is equal to 2d8 (d6 for smaller characters) + 2(con mod). You gain an extra hit die and con mod every level. Choose an uncommon magic item. You also get a feat every 3rd level. Also, the only human is variant human, and only PHB races are allowed. Also, you gain superiority die - d6. You have 2 and can choose from a single maneuver from the Battle Master list.
Cantrips: Frostbite, Ray of Frost, Prestidigitation, Light, Eldritch Blast

Personality: If you do me an injury, I will crush you, ruin your name and salt your fields
Ideal: Blood runs thicker than water
Bond: Nothing is more important than the other members of my family
Flaw: I secretly believe everyone is beneath me
Backstory
Mjöll Draksyr whose full name in Draconic is Mjölldrakka El Leeani Hjarndriffa Syrusdottir, is from a proud and noble lineage. An ancient ancestor forged a Pact with the Lord of the North Wind for a legacy of power within the family. In each generation, there would be at least one who would bear the power of Rime Sorcery. Mjöll (Melly to her father Syru Snoersson) is currently gifted with this power as her grandfather Snoeri.
Current Inheritors of this power include Mjöll and her grandfather Snoeri. Snoeri had twin sons, Bylur and Syru but only Bylur bore the legacy.
Mjöll has been trained in the duties and responsibilities befitting a noble of Haus Draksyr, she was mentored in sorcery by her grandfather and taught battle magic alongside her brother Frekki, Warlock Knight and the Draksyr Heir.
For example if you are playing a half elf rogue - 8, 20, 18, 10, 14, 12. Then add Half-Elf modifiers which makes it 8, 21, 19, 10, 14, 14. Basically, build up first, then add modifiers.
I'm thinking of rolling a cleric for this, what gods are in your homebrew? Since you mention working with good and evil, probably am looking towards a Lawful Neutral deity
(and to confirm, with variant human that would mean we start out with 2 feats, correct?)
Yes. Here gods are not gods in a traditional sense. If you want a LN deity, say you worship Anbarram ("god" of Stone), but he is not a god. He is in fact a demigod, a creature created by the true gods by powerful magic, which then grew consciousness and then decided to make its presence known and collect followers. True gods are powerful alien deities beyond space, time, and mortal understanding. They created this world and few know they exist, and even fewer worship them. BTW, here is a list of LN deities.
Ever since she was young, Bel always liked to put on a show. Gifted with a beautiful voice and a knack for playing instruments it's no wonder she became kind of famous in the small area region of Sholtad in which she resided. For years she practiced to become the best bard she could be and began to pick up magic along the way. Those who saw her play before the accident said the performances were amazing and everyone loved them. But unfortunately, almost as soon as she got into her prime something terrible happened.
You see, about 4 years ago she met the love of her life. A Human by the name of Talan Heimval caught Bel's talented heart and they fell deeply in love. Talan was a lowly blacksmith and most considered such a talent shouldn't be associated with someone who does dirty work such as that, but Bel was drawn to him as he was drawn to her. He never fawned over her in the same way everyone else did at least not openly. This Intrigued Bel and the more they talked and were together they both fell for each other.
After 2 years of being together Talan proposed to her with a beautiful everice snowflake necklace and she gratefully accepted. They planned to have the wedding not long after, but it didn't go as planned. Over the 2 years that Talan and Bal had been together, a radical group that hated them being to spring up, mostly those who would wish they were the one's in Talan's position and believed he didn't deserve it. Those enemies of his decided they wouldn't let this wedding go though the way it was planned. They attacked out of nowhere and there was barely any time to react. Many were killed in the attack including Bel's beloved Talan. He had interposed himself with one of the radicals that had gone to run her through only to find Talan in the way and a dagger entering his neck. As Talan lie dying Bel cradled him in her arms. He couldn't say any last words, all he could do is smile as he looked into her eyes for one last time. At that moment Bel had lost everything. The radicals killed nearly everyone there, including her parents and most of her other family. She was helpless and alone.
For quite a while she locked herself away not knowing what to do anymore. Then she decided she couldn't stay here any longer. Without warning she left. She packed her things one night and ran away as far as she could. She wanted to start fresh, she didn't want to ever go back. But that was 2 years ago. Now Bel has ventured into the rest of the world and is trying to establish herself. Though she might find herself on more of an adventure than she had initially planned.
Equipment: Rapier, Entertainers pack, Doss Lute (Magic Instrument), Pan Flute, Flute, Leather Armor, Dagger with the initials TH engraved into it, Snowflake Necklace, Costume(3), Healing Potion
Appearance: 25 Years old, 5'9", Pale slightly Bluish Skin, Long Silver Hair With Multi-Colored Highlights throughout, Bright Blue Eyes. She always dresses in very bright colors and in very flashy clothing. When ever she goes to an new place she'll probably have a different outfit on that's just as extravagant as the last.
Imagine with a slightly bluer shade of skin and more colorful clothes.

Background
Since a young age, Gary was raised as an acolyte in a temple to Execian, god of progress, located in the metropolis of Demaril. He had a knack for reading that was unsurpassed, and frequently whiled away his time in libraries and archives while off-duty, learning new languages to decipher everything he came across. One fateful night, while the temple was building an expansion, he came across a once-buried relic from a civilization long gone. After careful examination, he discovered that the relic seemed to contain blueprints or a design for some sort of mechanism the likes of which he has never seen before. At that point, something clicked, and he viewed it as a sign from his god that the world has tons of other forgotten bits of the past which can be useful in the modern day and age to drive things forward. He left on numerous expeditions to recover other bits of lost lore, and recently set out to uncover evidence of an entire city rumored to have been flying through the air at one point in time.
There is only one bit of unknown lore that he has not been able to find throughout his years, that being the circumstances of the time before he came to the temple. He does not know who his parents are, nor why they left him at the temple...
Personality traits (subject to change depending on backstory): Omens - I see omens in every event and action. The gods try to speak to us, we just need to listen. Optimist - Nothing can shake my optimistic attitude.
Ideal: Progress - Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat the events of the past. For there to be true progress, one must also know what came before.
Bond: Temple - If those in the temple had not taken me in, I probably would not be alive today. They have been very supportive of my efforts, and I am supportive of whatever my friends and superiors in the temple try to do.
Flaw: Determined - Once I have a task in my mind, I let nothing and nobody stand in my way of getting it done, and will go to any length imaginable to complete it. This may mean I overstep my boundaries and make things even worse for myself.

When he's focused and determined about something, he puts them on as a means of helping him "concentrate." He has a buff build which belies his otherwise thin frame, blond hair, and amber eyes. He stands 5' 4" tall.
