"Share the love Arno." Del hold her manacles out with a friendly look on her face.
((Assuming Arno chooses to help out)),
"Thanks, feel good to be out of those at last." Del will fit herself out taking the following items from the stash, in addition to her existing shortsword and the Piwafwi cloak, then move downstairs:
"Make sure everyone takes some of the bolts, not everyone will use them, but those of us that do will appreciate the spares if we fight our way out of here. Anyone have any idea which way we're best going?"
((@Sheeps - Having been here 10 days, will Delrana have any understanding of possible escape routes? Happy for you to roll a check to tell))
"Share and share alike!" Eldeth calls from the bottom of the ladder as Ront pushes his way up past her. "The rest of us need equipment too."
Most of the rest of the prisoners will crowd into the room, grabbing for equipment. Ront tries to pull a chain shirt over his head, but he's far bigger than the drow it was made to fit. Jimjarscoops up a crossbow and 2 sets of bolts before anyone can stop him. He'll also nick a set of studded leather. Eldeth will roll her eyes and grab a shortsword triumphantly as Ront struggles with the chain shirt, and take a shirt of her own. It's a bit of a tight fit, but she manages to get it on just fine. The twins will each take up a dagger, and some leathers a little too big on them, but topsy's not taking any chances. Sarithcalmly goes through the equipment, finding his own armor and laying it out. He'll also dig through some of the drawes coming up with a pair of keys and unlocking his manacles without saying anything to anyone else, and set the keys aside. He'll go about putting on his armor, and taking up a shortsword and a crossbow.
Derendilwill notice Sarith with the key. "Fellow prisoners, Sarith has found us a key, so that we shall escape." He will go ahead and unlock himself, then look at what little equipment remains. "Well, I suppose in this accursed body I have natural weapons. Though back in the day I was quite skilled with a bow."He looks wistful, an odd look on his quaggoth face. He does take a coil of rope and a bag of caltrops. He will also unlock anyone elses manacles.
Rontfinally getting the chain shirt over his head will growl and grab the last short sword, and a shield muttering obscenities. He'll also grab a bag of spikes.
Seeing that almost everyone else has their equipment, Jimjar will toss a couple of shields down to Shuushar, and scoop up the remaining daggers tucking them away.
Delrana: Most of you having been here for sometime, you know that the best way down is the lift. The lift is over toward the drow fighting the monsters, but not in the midst of it.
"All will become equal now" | "Cause we're going to shout it loud, even if our words seem meaningless. It's like we're carrying the weight of the world"
Arno will grab a couple of sets of bolts and shakes his head." There were keys! What in the Nine Bloody Hells!!" He says before he sighs and looks at the others shaking his head.
"Sarith, you know the layout here? Cause I am wondering if there is a go-to path outta here? You know to the surface or at least into the general vicinity? Cause I kinda would like to see the sun and bathe and you know not to be in the Underdark." Arno says checking his newfound gear and nodding. He could work with this, granted he would like his tools and a few of his other belongs especially his necklace.
"The best way I know is the lift, but it us through the priestess' quarters, towards the fighting. I am willing to risk it, though I think we will need to work together; unless any others have a suggestion?"
Delrana checks her gear, shortswords sheathed on either hip, and bolt quivers not far from them. "I too would prefer the bow, a far more elegant weapon! Though if you can use this," Del extends one of the hand crossbows to Derendil, "then take it."
Sarith cocks an eyebrow. "A direct path to the surface from a drow prison? You'll forgive me if I don't share your love for the sun." He shudders at the thought. "There is no direct path to almost anywhere in the Underdark. I could possibly get us to Menzoberranzan, where there are several eventual ways to the surface, but that is the most prominent drow city and going there would be tantamount to suicide."
"Bet we could find some ways to your surface through Blingdenstone."Jimjar says, flipping a coin he found who knows where. "Lots of trade happens through there. Though if you're really going the trade route, you'd probably want Gracklestugh. But I'd like to avoid duregar if we can. They give me the jeebies."
"The quickest way to Blingdenstone is past Menzoberranzan." Sarith replies smoothly with a hint of annoyance. "Gracklestugh is to the south, but I too would prefer to avoid the duregar."
"Well," a watery voice comes from below. "I believe most of those are along Dark Lake, and if we headed that direction we could eventually reach those places." Shuushar looks up the ladder toward the group, having listened to the conversation thus far.
"I believe Darklake is to the west." Sarith says, tilting his head.
Derendil gently takes the crossbow from Delrana. "Thank you. And indeed the bow is far more elegant, though I suppose we'll make do with what we can until something better comes along. We must strive to do our best in all situations."
Eldeth also agrees with Delrana, "I think taking the lift might be worth the risk. The only other way down I can think of is the Waterfall, and that seems perhaps more risky."
"Oh I'd love to see you take the waterfall."Sarith mutters to himself, slightly amused at the idea.
Buppido shrugs, a grin spreading across his face, "No reward with no risk. I think good ol' Brew taught us that."

"Brew also taught us that recklessly taking risks get you caught in a spider's web... I think his reward is one I would rather not share." Looking around to see if any of her fellows look likely to take the lead, she resolves to herself that she will look after her own survival first, until someone else comes up with a better plan... It's uncomfortable to work with people again, but oddly tolerable, maybe this rabble has a lack of civilization that makes it more bearable. "Well, let's worry about getting to the lifts first, and the waterfall can be a backup plan. We can decide which way we go from there - either together or separated - after that." If it comes to the waterfall, Sarith can test that route first!
Delrana adds toDerendil "Maybe Jimjar will share some bolts with you, I think Arno might have forgotten to take some too." She taps on one of her own two cases and nods towards him.
"Sorry I don't find underground that appealing, granted your women are well hot but the whips and daggers and sacrificing to some spider god is just well less attractive." He says to Sarith as the others talk and he makes it easy for him to reach his daggers swords and crossbow.
As they talked he looked at the other structures and tapped his chin."Yeah, I could use some bolts, more importantly, what is in these other stalactites? Stalagmites? Stone things. COuld they have more gear? Maybe food, we might have a journey. Also things for light sources...Not gonna lie I am not able to see well down here. Cause hello I am human. Also, I agree a huge city of drow does not sound like a night on the town or the vacation destination of the Underdark!!!"
"Menzoberranzan is no place for sensible surface folk to visit... In fact I don't believe that it is sensible for anyone other than the drow, or their slaves, to head that way at all. We would do well to stay clear of the place whilst we are down here. If we have to discuss this now, Blingdenstone would be my choice - the Swirfneblin have a milder disposition to outsiders than most down here." Delrana inclines her head to Jimjar, Topsy and Turvey, "Enough of that now - Unless anyone has a better plan, we need to make our way onwars whilst this distraction lasts, and if there are any priestesses in those quarters, we will be sorely pressed to make our way through them. Plus, they are the most likely place to have more loot Arno."
Delrana: In your time here, you do know that there is one priestess and her protege.
With a sigh Sarith says, "The best route would likely be the west path once we reach the bottom. That will take us in the direction of Darklake, and from there well you can generally find almost any settlement from there. As for Lady Ilvara and Asha, they'll likely be busy with the demons, I suggest we hurry before the demons get bored of them."

Delrana is unimpressed with Sarith's mildly useful input to the discussion..."Then we'll let you lead us into the quarters. Everyone who wants to, follow the bait. Anyone else, good luck on your own paths!" She motions for the drow to take the lead and follows enough behind that she should be able to put a bolt in the back of his head if needed.
"We could make out like bandits too, I mean no sense to slide through the rooms and you know rob them blind right" he says with a chuckle as he runs his hand through his hair and looks to the others. He then pulls out a shortsword and then a dagger. He would be ready to stab someone should they came through at him.
"I have every intention to take anything precious to these grow... Especially their lives. We have started down a path we can't turn from, so let's walk it well." Delrana follows Sarith into the priestesses' quarters.
"Well obviously I am not gonna let one life if it tries to attack me. Shame though drow seem eerily beautiful, 'til you know they try to flaw your skin from your hide." Arno says bit nervously even though he had his shortsword out and a dagger ready. It felt weird to have the nice chain shirt on his body but still, it seemed no bulkier than his previous armor.
Arno follows them down letting himself try and keep an eye and ear out for danger.
Sarith rolls his eyes at Delrana's attitude, but does indeed lead the way. There's only one way out of here, and they would have to go that direction anyway. He has no love for Ilvara or Asha, and any setback to them is a victory to him.
The fog over the priestesses quarters has dissipated by now, leaving the carved out stalactite no longer shrouded. Much further ahead the drow are still caught by the demonic activity. The demons have now figured out they are there and are attacking them. At a glance, Arno, you can see that a good number of the drow have either fallen to their deaths below, or met untimely ends at the hands of these creatures.
Eldeth takes up the rear, making sure that the others get on ahead of her, having a brief argument with Ront in the process.
