Seeing that the priestess and cult members have been dispatched, and the weird ooze starting to come out, Daewen wheels about and hurries out of the room. She’ll stand outside the double doors, protecting Strife and keeping an eye out for anyone attempting to attack us from the rear. She’ll Ready a defensive attack with her rapiers. 

The black pudding attacks the closest target, which I believe is Boobhae. If not, it will targe the closest enemy.

Daewen is still out in the hall, watching out for oncoming cultists who might be trying to sneak up on us from another area.  She's Ready with her rapiers to attack.

Carrhae brings her longsword down upon the chains that are keeping the twice-killed delegate bound. "When you're free, run towards my friend up there. She'll keep you safe. And again, really sorry about accidentally hitting you!" She says, pointing towards Strife.

With a loud CLANK, the chains break.

Mercy cast Guiding Bolt on the ooze before going to the uninjured delegate and using her Thieves’ Tools (Fast Hands) to undo the lock.

The ooze ripples as it gets hit. Its looking hurt, but not out of the fight. The lock on the chains holding the other delagate easily open.

“Out the door, and for Mask’s sake, be quiet. There’s a snake-haired freak down the hall.”

Strife casts Vicious Mockery upon the ooze for 4 (2d4) psychic damage and Disadvantage for its next attack unless it passes a WIS 15 save.

Trini's going to start backing toward the exit and casts her own vicious mockery on the ooze as she does so.

"Finders keepers, losers weepers, slimebag." She sticks out her tongue for good measure.

Mercy is going to cast Sacred Flame on the way out the door. Ooze needs a DEX 12 save (remember Bane!) or takes 2 damage.

Carrhae walks away from the ooze. "When I was a child, the nuns at the temple told me to never leave anything unfinished. But I'll make an exception for you." She says while dismissively waving her hand at the black pudding. "Let's go. It's time to take the delegates home."

Daewen grabs Strife’s hand and helps her melt into the shadows, along with herself (Stealth: 19).

OOC: Don’t forget, everyone has +1 (I think?) to our stealth rolls for a couple more minutes, thanks to Mercy’s nat20 stealth roll a bit ago.  And Strife, roll your stealth @ advantage, thanks to the Help from Daewen. 

Carrhae stealths by, making sure to give Trini some of the pointers that Mercy gave her about not making noise to help Trini be stealthy and give her advantage on the check.

If possible: When Zephyr walks away, he flicks another Sacred Flame at the ooze and sticks out his tongue similar to Trini, his spiritual ding dong whipping down one last time before it disapperates as he goes back to join the others.

Tired and hungry, you all manage to slip out of the Temple of the Black Earth and flee the Monastery. You arrive to Waterdeep in another day, where your weary group aches for some relaxation and tables of food. The delegates eventually relax and are greatful for being rescued. They impart knowledge about what they know about the Temple of Black Earth.

With the wisdom you have gained from this journey into one of the Temples, you all gain a level!
