Melkias - you move over to the shuttered house, your feet making no noise as you step lightly among the vines and bushes. You try to peer inside the house through the shutters, but they are fastened tight and all you can make out is the glow of light coming from within.
Delg frowns as Melkias goes to the door, but steps out into the road. He looks it up and down, then draws closer to the building. He'll stand by the wall, out of the sight of anyone opening the door, at the ready.
Melkias waits after knocking at the door. After a few moments, the door opens. A sour-faced, white bearded human male stands there, immediately peering around Melkias. He motions to Melkias to enter, and then says, "Quickly. Danger outside." He gestures impatiently with his hand.
Ajax enters, and the man stands there, almost glaring at the rest of the party. "Quick," he hisses. "Before they notice."
Ajax -
Casting around with your divine sense, you don't sense anything untoward in the man's house. It is plain and rather bare. However, you do get a sense of some undead lurking in the area to the north.
"They? Do you mean the sign? Did you put it up?" Delg looks around the room as he walks, his back to the wall. His eyes settle on the man. "Why are you here?"
The man harrumphs at Delg's questions, closing the door quickly after everyone has come inside. The door is extremely sturdy and reinforced with iron bands. He slides a large wooden bar into place and turns to stare at the party.
"Who are you? Why are you here?" he asks suspiciously.
"We are searching for someone to learn of another." Delg stares back. "If you have concerns, why did you let us in? We are looking for answers, not shelter."
The man arches his brow at Delg. "Thought you'd want to avoid the dragon and the undead," he says mildly. "Don't get many visitors here, you understand."
The man's eyes narrow and he pinches his lip as he looks at Delg appraisingly. "Adventurers, eh?" he says. "Might be too dangerous here - there are zombies - nasty things - and mutated plants, and probably giant spiders, judging from the webs I've seen." He looks around at the rest of the group. He frowns. "I've also seen people in black masks and cloaks skulking around - they're probably hiding on the east side of town. Thundertree is no longer the welcoming village it once was." He eyes the party again and then shakes his head. "You should probably leave before you get killed. If none of those things kill you, the green dragon surely will."
"I do not suppose there would be two abandoned villages along this path. Still, nice to know we are in the right place. So, are you Reidoth and if you are where might they be holding my kin, Gundren?" Delg settles himself against a wall, his warhammer set next to him.

"Looks more like he's making supper. or taking a bath. Or....whatever it is hermit people do. Lets take a look."
Melkias attempts to quietly move up to the shutters.

Delg will step outside of the farmhouse in case he's needed, but he'll hang back enough to not draw attention.

"Hmm....fair enough."
Melkias goes to the door and knocks.

Not being able to see the person at the door, Delg keeps his eyes on Melkias to see his reaction.
If Melkias and Delg go inside, Mulligan follows.
Ajax follows the others inside, not really convinced but still having some hope to find good in the human kind
The man gestures again impatiently, waving his hand around. "All of you - come in. Quickly."
Walking in. Ajax bows gently in a gesture of thanks while in reality he is praying the gods to enlighten the strange situation
DIVINE SENSE once inside: Ajax wanna check if there are strange things even inside the house (or even the owner)

Delg smiles. "Dragon, you say? Undead? Now that's more handy than just 'Monsters'? So what are the 'Plants'? And what color the dragon?"
The man's eyes narrow and he pinches his lip as he looks at Delg appraisingly. "Adventurers, eh?" he says. Melkias, who seemed to be deep in thought, jerks back from his reverie at the laundry list of things that want to eat him.
"Well, seems I heard enough. Lions and Tigers and Bears and plants and dragons...Oh my, time to go."
He starts to walk out of the door, but seeing no one follow him, he turns back around.
"Fine, but I'm getting hazard pay and the a visit to the sketchiest of taverns", He mumbles under his breath.
