Esfira will follow Daeron to the inn before speaking to Savan. "I thank you for the consideration, but I think someone else may benefit more from armor than I would." She looks down at her hands, trying again to call upon that healing magic to no avail. It was as if she had spent it all already. "It seems my magic is limited to two times for now, and we cannot gamble that I will be able to keep you all well if we truly wish to battle more goblins."

She looks back up at the group. "I would feel more comfortable if one of you were protected more."

(Please refresh me, didn't the guard that fed us say lodging would be free tonight?)

(It is. Totally forgot about that. Now we can afford breakfast tomorrow, since I don't think that's covered) 

"Thank you for your unselfishness. Now that leaves the three of us to decide who gets the armor. Hopefully this armor isn't being crafted for Esfira as that would be a rather awkward squeeze for the rest of us."  Daeron smiles as he says that last part.

Yes, the guards have notified the local taverns to let you sleep for free.

Panavor thank the dwarfs for letting us keep the weapon and accept the silver coins. "Yeah it better take a break for now and not get ahead of our selfs. Lucky we don't have to sleep in the cold and we get some silver to prevent us from starving for now." He follows the rest to the lodging.

There are two taverns in Jedburg, the Traveller's Tale, and the Sword's Edge. If you ask around, you can learn that the Travelers Tale is where travellers would rest when they stopped in Jedburg, people would buy them drinks in exchange for stories. The Sword's Edge is a bigger, fancier tavern, known for its food.

Would Daeron be correct in assuming that when the guards said that when we would get free room and board for the night, they weren't talking about the Swords Edge?

The guards notified both taverns, but you won't get the best rooms. It would make sense for Daeron to assume that, considering the guards did not specify. It up to you.

Fair enough. Daeron is going to suggest that the party goes to the Sword's Edge for dinner and bed. "We washed up on this island, got attacked by zombies, and had to fight goblins for scrap metal. We deserve the best that this town has to offer tonight."

 Panovor nods in agreement "To the sword edge then some warm food would be welcome."

"Warm food..." Esfira sighs dreaming while absent mindedly rubbing her stomach. She knew that it wasn't too long that she enjoyed a meal along with all of Savan's, but it felt like a lifetime ago. "We can fill our bellies and tackle tomorrow with refreshed minds."

As you step inside the building, the smell of meat fills your nostrils. A human man is serving drinks to the dozen people currently in the tavern.

Panavor tries to get the human man attention when he does he says "Excuse me sir a town guard told us we could get a free lodging and warm food here tonight."

The elf takes a quick scan of the room, while his friend talks to the barkeep.

Does there appear to be an empty table that could seat the four of us?

The humans does a quick scan of your party. ''Yea, he told me, take a seat, I'll get you your food soon. Any preferences?''  

Savan, there is one empty table that is empty, looks like it can seat up to 6 people.

Panavor respond "Something warm with some meat preferable for me"

Daeron furrows his brow for a second. So I can cast spells, but I can't even remember what kind of food I like. I'll just go for something basic. "I guess I'll just have some steak and potatoes. Maybe some ale too."

''Alright, coming up.'' He pulls out a few mugs, fills them with ale, then passes one to whoever wants one.''Food will be ready soon.''

"Thank you." Daeron takes one of the extended ales and takes a drink from it. He makes an unpleasant face after it goes down. I must have forgotten that I hate beer. Or maybe I like it and just forgot how bad it tastes. The memory loss definitely came into effect here. I hope that the steak and potatoes go down better.
