Chatters follows the lead of everyone else and attempts to find a bush to hide in.

(I was waiting to see what our harpy does before describing what happens next, that being said... we will see how hiding works out for everyone :D)

She'd been in the middle of finding a long cloak the wasn't too bloodstained at the announcement that Draax was coming. "Hiding is foolish, we should run!" she hissed anxiously. Regardless, there wasn't time to act. If she can fly while holding Pine: she would fly just out the back of the temple, leaning back into the midst of the branches and holding him close. If she can't fly while holding Pine: she would lay him on the ground, telling him to lie vary still, and would throw the nearest bloodstained cloak over him. She would then attempt to hide as near to him as she could. Stealth for either option: 4

 Pine lays down and pretends to be dead on the ground under the cloak

 Chuckles, hearing the warning and watching everyone attempt to hide would immediately quit playing his flute and look for a place to hide. (stealth 26) The cackler becomes strangely quiet as he users his spiked chain to reach a branch high in a tree and climbs up into the canopy of the tree, hiding among the leaves. 

As the harpy ensures that the boy is hidden and begins quickly scanning for a place to hide, she is caught off guard and in the open as a series of loud screeches echo through the air before four large creatures slam hard into the ground with a hard thud that shakes the surrounding trees..

As she spins around, she is only a few feet away from a small spined devil flanked by a pair of Nupperibos with two additional imps darting back and forth overhead. 

Saida hears a sinister voice in her mind as the spiked reptilian devil tilts its head and thrashes its spined tail against the ground. "I have come to collect the scepter... harpy" It says telepathically before turning its head towards the large dread warrior crouched behind some bushes. "Or should we just kill you and ask your treacherous companion other there.." as it points its barbed tail towards Saylas and the two imps flanking him move towards the dread warrior and begin circling the paladin 10 feet above his head. "Sylas... Where is the scepter and why have you and this harpy betrayed your MASTER" he hears scream in his mind. 

each of you notice clouds of insects swarming around the large stinking Nupperibo's standing back behind the spined devil... they seem to be looking around but not moving as the insects actively eat away at their demon flesh...

(The only two people the demons see are the dread warrior and harpy currently... )

Saida squared her shoulders, glowering. “My name is Saida,” she said coldly. “And your precious staff is gone. Seems the touch of demonic creatures destroys it. Perhaps you should have thought to learn that before sending us.” Deception: 17

(insight 3)

The Spined devil snarls and curses in the infernal tongue as it extends its dark wings and lifts up into the air, as the mist swirls around him.  "If you would lie to me... than you would lie do Draxx.. your soul is forefit!" He screams into your mind before quickly spinning and sending two long sinister looking spines sailing through the air towards saida.

Attack: 17 Damage: 3 plus 5 fire damage

Attack: 10 Damage: 3 plus 3 fire damage

Sylas, clearly spotted will stand a move out from the bushes with shield and Battleaxe in hand. "Leave Devil, before you and your companions find the rust of this axe buried into your brain." His cold, metallic voice threw his helmet lends a certain flare to his act of Intimidation, The blue mist that his form constantly produces seems to grow thicker as it continues to seep out of his Armor.

Intimidation: 14

Looking from the harpy to the dread warrior, the spined devil smiles... "you are next friend" he says in your mind... 

(One of the imps flying around you does seem to look around and fly back towards the spined devil.. you are pretty sure you scared the crap out of him)

The blue light under Sylas helm flares threw the eye holes as he brings his shield up in front of him. "You wont be the last.....Friend." 

Odysseus continues hiding in the shadows inside the tree.

Hungry sounds scared in the bush.

"Well enough," Saida said, her stern expression turning bemused as she drew her club. "I look forward to returning you to Hell."

Zinnripple decides the time has come to make himself invisible. He vanishes from sight and prepares to do battle...

(Odysseus is up and can see all the enemies but he himself is hidden. He can choose to enguage or remain hidden. Sorry about lack of posting over the weekend. )

Odysseus makes a screeching sound as the stick come flying towards Saidra, and he bites at the Nupperibo. (1)
