"No, dwarf. I am from a planet other than this one. Had a magical spear in my hands. Uses magic to teleport me to a planet other than the one when I die, fully healing me at the same time. Where I am from, all towns, cities, and villages are named for dragons."
Yaktar doesn't buy anything, preferring to observe the strange new town.

Seeing that everyone was already leaving, Ren gave a small sigh and slipped the papers from the Sergeant's fingers. "My apologies, but I fear I'll be left behind if I tarry any longer." As she spoke, she turned on her heel and began walking out. When she reached the door, she hesitated a moment and turned. "Good day sir." With formalities out of the way, she finally left. There were just a few things she needed to pick up before they started. If she was quick enough she should still be able to meet them at the gates before they leave.
(OOC: 2 potions of healing for 100 gp, 2 bags of caltrops for 2 gp and a healers kit for 5gp Total = 107gp)
Afterwards she quickly made her way to the gate. Upon seeing Salthes, a small smile crept on her lips. "Glad to see you didn't leave without me Salthes. I trust I didn't keep you waiting too long."
Absorbed in his book Salthes doesn't notice Ren's approach and slightly jumps when she speaks. Hiss! "Ah, Ren, ssorry I didn't noticce your approach."
"I haven't been waiting too long, only read about 3 chapterss during my wait." He says as he gestures to the fairly large book in his lap. He smiles back at her but it's hard to tell through his cloaked face. "Ssseems you have arrived before everyone elsse though. Hopefully they will arrive ssoon so we may be off. After Ivar had acquired the woodcarver tools he goes to the gates of the city with Yaktar.
Say Yaktar, now that we're going to spend some time together, did you say you ended up here after you died? You don't look undead to me.
The duo arrives at the gates, meeting with Ren and Salthes.
Hey! We are here! (closing in to them) Say Ren, you've found out something from the papers the Sarge gave us? And what about your friend here? Does he have a name? I still don't know it. We are still waiting the Tiefling, right? Another one that didn't give his name. We should be called the nameless! Bwahahahahaha What you say Yaktar? That sound good right?
"Like I said, the spear fully restored my life energy. Not undead at all. Probably."
Yaktar had been hoping for more information about the world, but so far, Ivar had spent most of his words on asking about Yaktar and cracking jokes. Oh well - that's bound to happen when you talk to a dwarf, Yaktar thought to himself.

Out of nothing, while the group waited on its last members to arrive, Ivar turns to Yaktar and says: Hey Yaktar! I just thought of something, is that world of yours off kobolds only or you have other people there? Are there any dwarf fortresses? Realms of my kinfolk where the best metalcrafts come from like here? Oh! I could not imagine a place where there aren't any dwarfs in the taverns tale telling, drinking and gambling! What a sad place it would be! But probably a quieter one! Bwahahahahahah
"There certainly are dwarves, but I'm not familiar with the best metalworking. Us kobolds are usually seen as pests by the taller folk, so we don't usually end up being sble to purchase their craft. At last, that is how it is where I was from, but it might have been a different story in other countries."
Yaktar turns his memories to happier times as he speaks. Times before the stars fell, people started becoming delusional about when it was day, and the moon was shattering. Good times indeed, training to become a warrior, guarding the lair.

Then with a small bit of loathing in his voice, "I guesss i forgot to introduce mysself, I am called Ssalthess. I beg your pardon for my rudeness." He bows his head slightly with a gesture of greetings.
Slathes then goes back to his book and continues reading, waiting for the Teifling to arrive.

"Go then, there are other worlds than these." -Stephen King, The Gunslinger
Makaria came running down the road in a hurry, nimbly dodging most of the passerby and lightly pushing aside those who were petrified at the sight of a winged devil person striding in their general direction. "Sorry about being so late... I got a bit distracted convincing a priest to allow me to carry holy water. I did leave him a small tithe for his trouble, though." She paused to catch her breath. "I'm still surprised by how squeamish normal people get around me sometimes... Anyways, it looks like we're all here?" She double counted to be sure and nodded. "Okay then, shall we get going?"
(OOC: Purchasing a vial of Holy Water and a set of Calligrapher's Supplies, for a total cost of 35 GP. Also donating 5 GP to whatever poor holy church had the dishonor of being visited by a teifling.)
The group sets off, going directly East from Dragon point, heading to their desired location. You may establish a marching order if you like, or go in a random fashion.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Going to the front of the party line more out of habit then anything, Ivar enters his marching mode, paying attention to any movement or out-of place things that could indicate an ambush, like the lack of animal sounds or twigs breaking. (6Perception).
"It seems like there was nothing new to gleam from the sheet itself." Ren shrugged. She gave a small wave to the Tiefling as she ran up. "No need to apologize, we didn't wait for long at all." When they finally set out, she idled near the front by Ivar. She, herself was looking for signs of a camp. Hopefully they would be able to set up an ambush of their own. (Critical fail :/)
"While we are on our way I believe introductions are in order. My name is Ren Windrivver, it's a pleasure to meet you all." She might at well get to know her allies, in her own opinion, it was incredibly important to know who you work with
Makaria had decided to walk near the human and the dwarf, seeing as they seemed to be pretty friendly. She was pretty eager to return Miss Windrivver's request- the human trusted the group with her name, so that seemed to be a good sign. "My name's Makaria Creed, but you can call me anything so long as it isn't too offensive. It's a pleasure to meet you too, Ren! Haven't met very many people who could be as cheerful around me as you since..." Her tone became a bit less excited as she flicked her tail widely, yet carefully enough as not to hit anyone with it. "...This happened." She took a deep breath, then picked her mood back up. "It really is a refreshing change of pace."
Salthes stayed nearer to the back of the group. "I am Ssalthess. What do you mean by 'thiss'?" He gestures to Makaria. "Isss there ssomething wrong?" He asks the question with genuine interest and confusion, and doesn't really understand that the subject may be a sore one.
"Well, yes and no. ...There is a bit of time for a story, I guess." Makaria sighed, but decided to indulge the yuan-ti regardless of her discomfort. "...I grew up believing I was a fairly normal human, having been left at a church's stairway as a baby. The higher-ups, however, had noticed that wasn't quite as affected by fire, cold, or poisons, and concluded that I must've been a blessed child. They held me up on a pedestal, so to speak, and tried to train me to be a mighty cleric of their god, but I didn't see myself as anything special. Anyways, at some point in my fourteenth year, my skin began to turn blue and small horns started to poke their way out of my forehead. The higher-ups began to talk among themselves, uncertain as to what should be my fate. It would've been bad for their image to have a devil's child, but, aside from my inability to channel divine magic, I seemed to have taken on their teachings fairly well..." She took a deep breath, then continued. "They ultimately decided to let me live, and expelled me from their order. The first few months were pretty terrible for me, between all the hate people threw at me and 'naturally' growing a few extra appendages in such a short time. I've since gotten over all of it and made a living for myself, but man," she rubbed the base of one of her wings as if it was aching, and finished her monologue in a much more cheerful tone. "...That really did hurt a lot! I can recommend wings to anyone who isn't afraid of heights, but I suggest taking a more magical route to getting them. Does that answer your question, Ssalthess?" She hadn't realized that the extended 's' sounds were just a result of how the snake-man speaks.
Salthes listens intently to Makaria's story and even takes out his spell book and writes something in it. He lets out a low hiss, his form of a 'Hmmm' "Very interessting, and you have no idea what incited thiss change? I've know of Lycanthropess and changlingss but usually they were either born to change formss or were disseased and sssuch became their ability. Hisssssss Very interessting indeed."
He continues to write various notes as they continue walking writing down theories and such that come to him. He doesn't pay very much attention to his surroundings as they walk.
"Where I'm from, that sounds like a typical tiefling going through their teenage years. You certainly look the part. In case you missed it, the name's Yaktar."
Yaktar is surprised that the world he has landed on seems so, well, rude, to rarer individuals, when they've not done anything objectively wrong. I guess no place is truly perfect he thinks to himself as they continue.
Ren very nearly smacked Salthes upside the head when he asked such an invasive question. It was already clear Makaria was uncomfortable with revealing such things, but much to her surprise, Makaria ended up being much more forthcoming than Ren would've thought. Still, she jabbed a hard elbow his way when he continued. "No need for an in depth study Ssalthess." The smallest hint of a grin tugged at her lips as she spoke, but she naturally returned to an even face quickly.
"Regardless, thank you for sharing your story, Makaria. You'll find no judgement from me at least." She couldn't help but feel a little giddy at her words. "I'll be honest, not many people would consider me cheerful." With her issues with emoting, even tone and strict manner of speech, she'd had many issues in the past with people believing her to be quite cold. She has been trying quite hard to get a little better at socializing. "I suppose it's refreshing for both of us then."
Ren simply nodded towards Yaktar, she'd been mentally repeating all of their names since she'd learned them. No way she'd forget. "I have a good feeling about this group." She said aloud to no one in particular.
"It seems i am not very well versed in teifl- hisss"Salthes suddenly cuts off as Ren sends her elbow into his side.
"Oh... uhh.. hiss... wass I doing that again..? I must apologisse, I tend to have a habit of forgetting otherss... feelings I believe is the word. I am ssorry if I made you uncomfortable in any way."
Salthes puts away his spell book and walks on quietly. Before he puts it away though, he writes down a note to remind himself to look into this more when he next goes to the library.
