4 Wensa grabs onto the frayed rope and begins to lower herself down. About 10 feet down, the rope snaps just above her. Wensa has enough time to look up at Gizzmo before falling down the shaft of the well. Wensa lands in the water at the bottom.
Gizzmo removes the compact winch from his bag and braces it against the stone work of the well. He ties one end of the rope into a loop for a stirrup and sends the rope down into the well after Wensa.

As they bring Wensa up they will have to switch over to using the well's pulley system or pull it up by hand.
"About 30' down there are some unusual stone step formations. I think it is a way into the chamber."

Wensa tries desperately to climb the rope.

At the top, Gizzmo can feel a weight lifted off the rope, like a fish that has escaped the hook. Wensa is pulled down under the water just as Skeekbad reaches the surface of the water. Skeekbad is able to see the face and grasping arms of Wensa just before Wensa is pulled completely. Wensa, you are pulled into a rocky cavern filled with water. Wensa kicks and kicks, trying to free the grip of the unknown creature. The grip tightens. Wensa, make a dex to escape the grapple.
