All, since the majority of the party failed the Dexterity saving throw, the boat tips over and spills you all into the ocean! After tumbling in the crystal clear waters a bit, you orient yourself and swim to the surface. You all take a big inhale as you tread water and blink through wet eyelashes. You see each of your heads break the surface one by one. You also see the dorsal fins of three sharks circling the party. One is much larger than the others. The shore is a short swim away, but you have to swim through shark infested waters!
All, roll for initiative! On your turn, you can only move up to 15ft (each square = 5ft). The safety of the shore is 60ft away. Dot colors: Seldor, Lady Susanne, Captain Red Skies,Vappa.
"When making a melee weapon attack, a creature that doesn’t have a swimming speed (either natural or granted by magic) has disadvantage on the attack roll unless the weapon is a dagger, javelin, shortsword, spear, or trident.
A ranged weapon attack automatically misses a target beyond the weapon’s normal range. Even against a target within normal range, the attack roll has disadvantage unless the weapon is a crossbow, a net, or a weapon that is thrown like a javelin (including a spear, trident, or dart).
Creatures and objects that are fully immersed in water have resistance to fire damage."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Strife will fight to stay above water, gasping for air. "CRAP CRAP CRAP!" The shout as he began to swim towards the shore (Move to E11). As the kobold swims close to one of the smaller sharks, the kobold would cast Dragon's Breathon himself, taping his chest with his orb. As Strife swims, a white wispy smoke rolls from his nostrils and mouth. Turning and looking to the shark, the kobold would open his mouth and exhale a blast of Ice shards and cold energy towards the creature.
(dex13 save or take 7 cold damage, take half on a successful save)
(The fire resist is a problem again for strife lol!)
Lady Susanne swims to G11, with her bonus action she places her Hexblade Curse(Against the cursed target, you gain a 2 bonus to damage rolls, score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20, and you regain +4 HP if it dies) on the large shark and strikes...
All, earlier I said you can only move 15ft per turn. I should have said your movement is havled (rounding down) unless you have a swim speed.
Vappa, you take a deep breath and dip beneath the waves. You kick rapidly and draw your shortsword as you near the large shark. The unfamiliarity of underwater combat causes you to miss your stab at the Hunter Shark.
Reef Shark 1 will attempt to take a bite out of Strife. It quickly clamps its powerful jaws on Strife's thin leg then releases, testing the chewability of its strange new prey. Strife takes 5points of damage.
Cpt. Red Skies will move to H12 and engage the Hunter Shark. She will attempt three attacks, one with a dagger and two with a rapier (with disadvantage). Only the dagger attack hits, for 5 points of damage.
The Hunter Shark will attempt to bite Lady Susanne. The beast's huge jaws close around her midsection with crushing force, dealing 15 points of damage.
Reef Shark 2 will swim to square K9 and attempt to attack Vappa, missing him in the chaos of the battle.
Strife is up again, then Lady Susanne, followed by Vappa.
I also wanted to clarify that the top two squares are dry land and the sharks cannot attack you there.
(Strife is screwed lol!)

Strife, the shark is unused to prey that bites back and your icy blast catches it fully in the face. It thrashes wildly as its skin suddenly freezes.
Lady Susanne's up!

Attack: 7 Damage: 9
Lady Susanne, it's hard to judge the big shark's position with the way water refracts light and your blade narrowly misses its tough grey flesh.
Seldor's up!
Seldor will swim to square C14 and cast Vicious Mockery.
DC13 Wisdom Save or take 3 points of damage and have disadvantage on the next attack.

(would the attack have still hit if I had used shield? Also con save to keep my spell up 21)
Strife will snarl at the shark before unleashing another icy blast towards the creature.
DeX 13 or take 8 cold damage, half damage on a success
if the shark dies Strife will swim towards the coast
Lady Susanne will move to H9 and strike at the shark again...
Attack: 6 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Can I know what the numbers for the attacks are so that I know if I should use my reaction to try and make it miss with Cutting Words?
