"Ah they Awaken!" You turn to see Theseus walking into the War hall, He looks better then last night. Fresh, Sleeveless robes adorn him and he strides upto the table and grabs a piece of cheese. He has a large smile on his face as he takes a seat next to Carrus. "My friend, the wine took its toll on you." He jokes as he refills your cup with water Carrus.

"We are having a small Celebration in your Honor today, this city and I owe you much. If you hadn't defeated Drogon and brought his head, Many more soldiers would have met their end last night." Theseus leans back in the chair as he looks around for Cybele and Dicaeus. "Your companions have not awoken yet? Late sleepers!" 

Carrus your head is still pounding, You know it will fade soon but for the moment the Hangover persists.

"You seem chipper for a fella who looked on death's door just last night?" Anax asks the king before taking a piece of bread from a plate. "I hope the general has bounced back from his wounds in such a way?" The goliath is showing genuine concern for his friend, and the question may come across as accusatory at first. He realises this quickly, and adds a smile to the statement as he releases from of the tension from his shoulders. "Pardon me your majesty, it's just not often that I see him sustain such injuries. I'm glad you are well."

Theseus laughs, Taking a cup of water in his hand. "A Nights rest does wonders my friend." Theseus looks around as the Soldiers begin to stir and find their way to their respective tables where food has been laid out for them. "Achilles fairs better now, He took quite a beating. Charged into the horde by himself and killed the giant before we even got there." At this point Merci walks into the War hall and gives a slight curtsy. "My King, We are prepared for what you have asked of us." 

"Ah! Splendid, Once your Companions join us we can ask the Drow you brought back with you some questions." Theseus remarks as he stands, Taking Merci's arm and leading her to a free chair at the table. 

Waiting for Cybele and Dicaeus at this point. Carrus and Anax feel free to ask questions to Merci or Theseus.

 Carrus accepts the water with a nod but continues to eat and drink in silence, trying to put the pounding out of his mind. 

Cybele will enter the hall and grab a piece of bread, "Apologies, I did not mean to sleep so late." Even though she went to bed earlier and rose later then Anax and Carrus there is still a twinge of tiredness to her face. She will greet King Theseus and the High Priestess politely. "The good news is, I have a way to get us back to the High King very quickly once everything is concluded here."

Carrus's eyes widen, and the sudden movement instantly sends a jolt of pain through his skull, causing him to wince.  He puts his hand to his head for a moment before continuing hopefully: You can become a dragon now?

Cybele will crack a smile at that, "Unfortunately no. What I can do is transport us from one place to another as long as there is a large enough tree for us to step through. I would offer to take the General to Atlantis, but I can only bring us to a tree I have seen before."

Dicaeus eventually comes out and joins the rest of you at the table. You all finish your breakfast and have a few laughs before Theseus stands with Merci. "Well It's time we got a few answers my friends, Join us in the Temple when you are ready." Merci does her Curtsy as they both turn and leave the War hall. 

OK, Is there anything anyone wants to do before you goto the Temple? Maybe go shopping or go find Achilles? Anything like that.

For the moment, Carrus will tag along with the group, nursing his hangover.  Before they leave Athens, he would definitely want to go in search of Achilles, though.

"I don't have any buying or selling I need to do, but I would like to find the General before he dashes off to Atlantis."

 Carrus stands, done with his breakfast and ready to get the day started. He catches the attention of one of the passing servants.  Where is General Achilles?  he asks.  

The servant is carrying a platter of Cheeses and fruits as you grab her attention Carrus. She is an older woman but smiles warmly at you, the lines on her face indicating she smiles alot. "Oh? I believe the General is at Athena's Font, Its a fountain in the east of the city just follow the road until you get to the square and take a right." She hurries off to feed the other Soldiers.

Frigg walks past you all at this point and gives you a nod as she finishes clasping a belt around her waist, She exits the War hall.

So with the womans guidance you take to the streets and find it much more lively, Folk have once more filled the streets. Peddling their wares and talking to one another, some Recognize you and thank you for your aid. Others gift one minor things, Flowers and some fruit. Coming to the square, It is alive with activity. People flood the square and everywhere you look someone is selling something. You hear a few people call out the sale of Vegetables while others are selling paintings. The city is alive once more.

Pushing threw the busy square you head right and find this street has less activity. You see people dressed in white robes walking with their head bowed, Depictions of Athena every few feet in a statue. Ahead you can see a massive marble building that shines in the sunlight. The building is magnificent in design, Even outclassing the War hall. Just in front of the building you see a large fountain, Spewing water from the top; landing on multiple layers of stone before settling in the bottom. Sat on the Edge of the fountain you see Achilles, Staring into the water with a horse nearby. 

An hour to get to this point.

Dicaeus wanders into the room later than all the others, shaken by his vivid nightmares. He says nothing about it to the others, however, but clearly something is troubling him as he says good morning. Unless prodded, he remains thoughtfully silent throughout the walk, trying to puzzle out the meaning of the dream.

[OoC]: Why have we come to see Achilles?

[Ooc: We just wanted to say goodbye since he's going to Atlantis and we're going to Olympia ]

Cybele will smile. She half expected Achilles to have already left. She will salute and say, "Glad we didn't miss you. Wanted to wish you safe journey General."

Dicaeus mirrors the salute. “General, a moment in private, if you would please.” After pulling Achilles aside (if he is willing), he speaks his mind. “Beware the Desperate. Would have any idea what that may mean? Last night I had... a dream? Premonition? Message? telling me just that sentence. These are dangerous times. Would you know if there is some kind of enemy on the horizon?”

Carrus stands silently as Cybele and Dicaeus speak to Achilles.  He studies the general, trying to assess whether the battle has still left him drained or whether he has recovered to his full self:  Perception: 25

Carrus

 "Ah Hello, I leave shortly Cybele. Just getting my bearings before I have to spend 2 weeks aboard at sea." Achilles stands and walks to meet you as Dicaeus rushes past and pulls him aside. 

Achilles smiles and places a hand on your shoulder Dicaeus. "A mere dream my friend, do not think much of it for Desperation still runs rampant in everyone." He walks back to the group. "you all did well last night yet your training will persist, when next we meet I will have all Four of you show me what you can do." He smiles, the wrinkles at the corner of his mouth present even more. Achilles looks drained, He looks like he hasn't had a good night's sleep in days. 

Safe journey, sir.  It has been an honour.  Carrus will offer the same forearms handshake as before, and as he does so, will put thirty HP healing from Lay on Hands into Achilles.  He says quietly,  Please rest, sir.  Greece still has need of you.

Anax stands nearby. His expression looks pained as he watches Achilles, almost like he's struggling with an internal conflict. He catches the general's eye and smiles at him.
