Hildigrim: That is quite the series of die rolls. In a different campaign, I've been complaining about all the low rolls my halfling is getting. You just got two 1s in 5 rolls, and all of them were less than 10... that is quite annoying.)
Hildigrim is slipping around in the first worm's gore, so his arrow shot is not the finest. Fortunately, the sound of Volo's hooting guides him where to shoot the arrow (18 damage).
Jorin and Spar to go.

Soar barely has a chance to take in Hildigrim’s help, but she casts an appreciative look at the brave owl and whatever it’s doing. She glares at the second worm and moves her hex over to it, and then tries two more attacks. She doesn’t process the sudden badger next to her.
Attack: 23 Damage: 11 plus 6 damage from Hex Thirsting blade Attack: 7 Damage: 14 plus 4 damage from Hex
(Same as before just with 3 less damage per hit with Hexblade’s curse defunct.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Q-Badger rips into the rubble, but she only digs aside part of the debris covering Drusk. (She wants to be careful not to tear off anything that isn't stone.)
Jorin's 3 strikes do 50 damage.
Spar still isn't used to getting Hildigrim's advice during combat, and staying clear of Jorin's whirlwind of slicing causes her to miss the first strike. The second one does 16 damage.
YPW2 was moving towards Spar, but Jorin's reckless attack lands him right in front of the frothing creature as it was about to attack. Bite and stinger at Jorin.
Bite Attack: 15 Damage: 18 piercing
Stinger Attack: 10 Damage: 8 piercing
*If* the stinger hits, roll a DC 14 CON save. 14 poison damage for a fail, 7 for a success.
Rage will reduce the bite and stinger damage, but not the poison.
New round...
YW2 has taken a cumulative 84 points of damage. It is still thrashing about, but you feel confident of victory after seeing how much you hurt it last round.
(I'm going to roll for Drusk digging himself out. It would be nice to get a success before combat ends. That would also free Q-Badger to do an attack.) Drusk takes 2 damage from being buried. Needs one success vs. DC 15 to get free: 4

Hildigrim breathes out a sigh of relief as Drusk's head pokes up out of the rubble. Then, asking Volo for another fly-by, the halfling fires another arrow.
Hildigrim's arrow leaves the young purple worm visibly weakened.

YPW2 collapses to the ground. Combat is over.
Drusk dusts himself off. He sees that the collapse of the ceiling ended a few feet away from where he was buried. "Missed it by that much."
Drusk suggests that he casts 2 Cure Wounds on Jorin, and that he drinks 2 of the 4 (temporary) healing potions. That won't completely heal either of them, but it should be enough to allow the party to keep going without taking a rest. (Is that okay, or would the party prefer something else?)
Drusk also asks Quillary to stay in Giant Badger form for slightly more time. Just before he was buried, he noticed something sparkling on the ground near where he fell. Maybe Quillary and the others could dig it out, while the healing is going on?

Drusk casts two Cure Wounds on Jorin, which heal 20 for Jorin in total, and 6 for Drusk (life cleric).
Drusk thanks Spar for tossing the potion, and drinks two of the temporary herbal potions. Makes a face. "Tastes like they also use this to clean the stone floors." Drusk is healed another 14 by the potions.

You find a mostly digested sack that covers a pile of coins: 30 platinum and 200 gold. (I'll add to party funds, unless there are other plans.) Jorin goes rummaging through his pack, looking for a skin of ale to offer Drusk in order to clear his mouth of the potion taste. His face scrunches up as he fails to find any, however he pulls a cracked orb from the pack and holds it up, looking at it for a minute before realization dawns on him.
"Kargost", he says, and the cracked drift globes lights up and drifts off in front of him.
(This is an accurate retelling of me scrolling through my inventory looking for a keg of ale or some other alcohol, and then finding that Jorin has a cracked driftglobe, lol. He'll send it out about 15 ft ahead of him to provide an additional area of bright light (20 ft radius, so now he can see about 40 ft ahead of him in bright light and an additional 20 ft of dim beyond that. In larger areas or longer tunnels, he'll move it further, about 35 ft ahead, giving him bright light out to 55 ft (15 from the sword, 40 from the full diameter of the globe) and then bring it back in as the areas tighter or they approach a blind turn.)
"Kargost", he says, and the cracked drift globes lights up and drifts off in front of him.
("Cracked" is not just descriptive. There is a separate entry for a Cracked Driftglobe . It does not have Daylight and levitation abilities.)

During the next hour, Jorin continues to call out a password and toss the cracked drift globe ahead of him, scowling when it just falls to the ground. You warn him that if he isn't careful, he might shatter the damaged globe, but he repeatedly insists that the next time the levitation will work.
Jorin tosses the globe 20 ft. ahead, and it again plummets to the ground, but this time with a "splat". Starting from 10' ahead (midway between Jorin and the globe) and continuing for another 30', the floor and walls are excessively muddy and slick. Rather than the grayish clay-mud that is common in these caves, this mud is brown-red. With Jorin's blacksmith background, the mud has the color of corroded iron. Perhaps the area ahead has a lot of moisture and ferric minerals in the rocks.
