If Pascal can, I would like to summon a Flaming Sphere at 3rd level near the revenant and the Shambling Mound.
If I am able to, then the appropriate creatures need to make a DC 14 Dex save vs 18 fire damage.
Pascal moves on top of Hildigrim temporarily ("excuses-moi"), casts a Flaming Sphere, then moves back up the stairs... (If he put the sphere near the revenant and the mound, it would also be within 5' of Drusk and Jorin, which would force them to move on their turn. Instead, I put the sphere further north, between the shadow demon and the shambling mound, and used Pascal's bonus action to roll it at the mound.)

I guess I was thinking more the telepathic communication, but if Volo doesn't know what a revenant is, he wouldn't know to tell Hildigrim one is in the room. So, we're cool.
The shambling mound can't move to attack Jorin without moving on top of the flaming sphere, so it takes 2 slam attacks at Drusk (who is dodging). The mound will then move SW to get away from the Flaming Sphere.
