(Note to self: stop letting Quillary run into melee, she should instead get out of Jorin’s way and watch, healing him on occasion.)
(Jorin is a damage-machine, but he still needed help from everyone when he had 2 Hold Person spells paralyzing him.)
The grell is sliced into pieces. Then both grell remains are further chopped up by Jorin, just to be certain.
The fountain to the south has crystal-clear water. There is a silver cup sitting on the edge. (The cup doesn't have enough value to be worth taking. Same for the copper coins the cultists were gambling with.)
Drusk looks around at the others, gestures to his ears (if the party wants to drop the Silence spell), and then gestures to the stairs up (if the party wants the Silence to continue, but want to talk outside the area of effect).

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Hildigrim takes a minute to inspect the two arrows he fired and recovers the one that is still usable. Once finished, he goes to the closed doors and listens starting with the single door across from the opening in the east wall and then to the double doors.
Drusk is now doubly confused at Quillary's hopping motion, as it seems even she doesn't know why she was doing it?
HIldigrim: No obvious noises. The west door is locked. The south double doors are not locked.
Jorin: A rough-hewn passage that goes east 10-15', then curves south. You'd have to go past the opening and further in to see south.

(To be perfectly honest, it was an autocorrect typo I didn’t notice until Drusk pointed it out. I can’t even remember what it was supposed to be, so I m just going with it! 😂)
Quillary indicates the locked door. “Locks are for keeping things from others, we should go that way.”

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Jorin nods and takes up a position at the door, "Shall I show it the bottom of my boot?"
Drusk: "That will probably make a lot of noise. Now that Silence has fallen, if there are more guards to the east, they will probably hear your foot stomping on the door.
"We could take care of any guards to the east, first. Or Hildigrim has some skill at opening doors that are closed."

Before the pick attempt, Drusk casts Guidance on Hildigrim. Result: 3
Even with a little divine help, Hildigrim curses that this poorly maintained lock is defying his efforts. (He suspects that it would be troublesome even with the key.) With reluctance, he informs the group that Jorin's boot will probably be needed.
...At some point. Drusk and Quillary would stop Jorin before booting, to make sure if the party wants to do anything else first.

I did a "mouse-over" for the last two posts. Quillary's roll (3+16=19) matches what is in the post. For Jorin, I see (20+3=23) which does not equal the 19 in the post.
If other people are seeing the same thing, then I'll add it to the "Dice roller in forum acting buggy" thread in the Support/Bug forum.)

Jorin attempts to finish off last brain monster!

Jorin nods to the drop the silence and then goes over to take a look at the fountain.
Quillary similarly makes a shushing motion then a hopping motion to end the spell.

Perception 1: 23

Quillary shrugs. “Rabbits are silent? As we must be now?” She also whispers, but the quiet of the veil still surrounds the party.

Jorin will sneakily look through the hole in busted wall to get an idea of how far that passage goes.

Hildigrim once again looks a bit sheepish as he pulls out his thieves' tools. Without meeting anyone's gaze, he goes to work on the lock.
DEX + proficiency: 10
EDIT: We might need Jorin's boot.

"Eager as I am to smash down this door, should we check the open passage first? Make sure nothing stalks at our backs?"
“Agreed,” Quillary says. “Let us go quietly.”
She sneaks eastward, the silence of the Veil still cloaking the party.
