"It would not leave until I saw your needs tended to, Seren. If you need help with the bodies, I would be happy to aid you in that task as well" Jorin says. He is happy to use all of his smithing skills to fortify the library as best as possible. He would take a trip through the town, looking for a blacksmith for materials, if there was one, or foraging for whatever he could find otherwise,
Pascal gives a thumbs up, “Of course, cher, leave it to me! Plus, y’all gotta see what I figured out how to do.”Pascal opens his big mouth 90 degrees. A moment passes before a red, spectral Mage Hand emerges from his gullet, “Haaa-Gaaa!” Pascal makes Jazz Hands with all three hands. You believe he was going for “Taadaaa”

Quillary stares at Pascal. Then she picks something from her matted hair/headdress and examines it. Then she puts it back. Then she waves a hand and a small flower blooms on her head where she put the thing. "I, too, have tricks," she smiles impishly.

OOC: As I've said before, all you bigs look the same to Hildigrim.
Hildigrim is actually moving toward the door when Seren asks if he's willing to help with the horses. The new book he brought to the breakfast table is clutched in his hand. He turns on his heel to face the group, and Quillary notices a slight movement with that hand — as if his first reaction was to try to hide the book behind his back, but then he stopped himself. "Oh, ah, well ... I ... was planning to spend the rest of the day in the library." His eyes dart to the book and back. "I've ... ah ... I'm gonna ... look something up." He takes a breath. "I don't feel I'm quite as informed as I'd like to be," he says, sounding a bit more like his old self. He gives Quillary a little half shrug. "Please excuse my preoccupation." Without waiting for a response, he quickly turns and leaves the inn.
Seren looks at Hlidigrim leaving with a bit of confusion, but then shrugs. "Quillary, will you be able to handle the horses and the farmstead by yourself?"
For Jorin: He is able to find the hut that was used for blacksmithing. It is rather small, to his disappointment. He also notices that it is stone cold. The fire box hasn't been lit in many days, and is stuffed to overflowing with coal. On the anvil are shattered pieces of iron ore. Evidently, a skulk was shoveling the fuel and swinging the hammer, but missed quite a few of the steps needed for blacksmithing.
Jorin will not be able to get it hot enough, before you group plans to leave tomorrow. He will have to settle for grabbing already-made nails and spikes, and some hammers, to do repairs around the outpost.

"Of course," Quillary says, confidently. She will head out, back to the farmstead. Not knowing when help might arrive, she turns the farm horses loose in the pasture, making sure there is plenty of water and food. After all, Seren will be able to check on them every so often.
She checks the rest of the farmstead, closing doors or windows against the weather, checking on any other animals that might be there.
Finally, she will bring the riding horses back into town, and hitch them outside the inn for the moment, and checking back in with the party.
(She's got more to do if that all goes off without a hitch.)

Jorin frowns at the state of the blacksmith and will tidy it up a bit before leaving, making sure that the anvil is cleaned off as best he can at the very least. He has half a mind to stay the evening in the shed and dispatch the Skulk that is trying to use it.

Your party finished the Ritual of Solace in the library cellar. The 2 chained skulks (and all the other ones in the outpost) expired.

Ohhh, right, right. Was thinking there were more skulks since we are fortifying the library.

Quillary will spend the rest of the afternoon (after checking in with the group) exploring the town, setting little things right, undoing some of the entropy created by the skulks. She'll do it humming to herself and chatting in Primordial with her cat skull. She will return as the sun gets lower, for dinner.

The cute but weird half-elf smiles in Jorin's direction. "Jorin of the Bodt! A drink would be welcome." She strides over, doffing her cloak onto a side table and leaning her shield up against it. She pulls out a chair and sits, taking a long draft from the cup he pushed her way. "It seems the town is back to sorts, though still as the grave. The farm creatures are cared for, though Seren should visit them. I brought our horses here, we should stable them the night." She takes another pull. "And your day, northman?"

When Quillary comes in, he slides one across the table saying, "An evening ale for our new friend?"
