Aria suddenly glances up. "I have an idea." She pulls Sivi out of her bag, although the monkey immediately scampers up her arm and onto her head. "Sivi's nowhere near as fast as Feather, but he knows the way to Varna like the back of his hand, and there are sending stones there. If he got there with a message, they could send it along to Arcanix. Then mages could teleport in. It'll only take a little over a week to fly to Varna, so mages should be here within ten days, tops. And that way the unit's strength will be undiminished."

Kora blinks a couple of times. “I don’t... um, I don’t know your... I don’t know Sivi very well. Can he do that? Will they send on a message brought by a monkey? Do they know you there? It could be a dangerous trip... are you sure he could do this?”

Aria nods. "They know me and him. Two of my siblings, Sora and Liam, live at Varna, and they'll recognize him, as will many of the Vadalises there. I grew up near there, and our family visited a lot to see my cousin. They'll send the message, especially if I put the Vadalis seal on it. And he can do it." She reaches up and twines Sivi's tail around her finger. "He's very good at keeping a low profile, he's run messages for me twice before when I needed the messenger to be someone I trusted implicitly."

Kora looks to the others, and then LT. “I believe this may be as good a solution as we will find. Faster than going all the way to Arcanix.”

"So what then will we do for the 10 days? Stay here and guard the crystal or bury it and move on?" 

"Bury it and move on. We have a mission that needs to be done."

"Then it is done, we will send Sivi with this message and bury this damned thing." Dot says as she gets closer to the object. "Sarge and I will take the first watch, get some sleep, Greywind. You've had a rough day. Aria, let's go over that message before you bed down."

"We should bury it before we sleep," Kora says.

As Aria and LT go over the message to her house, Sarge will help assist Sylrie to his mat. The evening will go by uneventful, as you wake up the next day refreshed, even if your sleep wasn't peaceful at least you got some sleep. Yesterday's terrible events are behind you, but tomorrow's cloudiness is still in the air. 

Breakfast is made over a small campfire and it's some local game caught by Sarge in the evening. Some bread is passed around, and Sylrie is helped with his breakfast.

Aria goes over the message with the LT, making sure it communicates everything it needs to before adding her seal and signature at the bottom, emphasizing that this must be sent to Arcanix via sending stone the moment it's received. She then spends almost an hour going over the route with Sivi, making sure the flying monkey knows exactly where he's going. By the time the young woman finally goes to sleep, she's bleary eyed with exhaustion and worry.

In the morning, Aria feeds Sivi his breakfast, making sure it's not too much food, and gives him several last pets. "Now, you stay safe and fly fast, because Keith will kill me if you get hurt or lost," she tells Sivi with a smile before sending him on his way. The red haired woman watches the flying monkey until he's just a speck in the sky, nibbling her lip lightly. She then makes sure Feather gets her breakfast and morning brush before finally sitting down to eat her own.
