The people here all smile at you as you pass, they seem comfortable with this motley crew.
Insight 15:
You also notice, compared to other areas of Aundair this town has a plethora of different races. But what you see the most of other than humans is shifters. They are well dressed and walk with their heads held high.
Insight 20:
The shifters here are well dressed and treated with respect by the other townsfolk. Smiling and laughing in conversations.
Perception 10:
The homes and businesses here are made of a strange wood, chiseled into beautiful works of art. Designs of fishermen, nautical life, and even some forest scenes can be found on these beautiful buildings.
Perception 15:
The windows in the homes seem to be wide open, round and without actual windows in them. Above them opened up like the wings of a beetle are wooden window closures at the head of the frame that seems to swing down. The opposite of Aundairian architecture.
Perception 20:
There is a small garrison of guards who seem relaxed and at ease with the citizens. They don't really seem to give your party a second glance. They are more into their drinks and their conversation than anyone coming from the docks.
"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

Leading the way to the Grey Deer Tavern, the Sarge stops short of the door. "Mind yer business, ye dogs. Try not to wreck this place like ye did the last one. Or I'll have all of yer hides." He pokes a finger into Kash's chest, "...especially you! Ye have enough things to drink out of. Perci, get our rooms. Remember, Jarlin Smokeshot is the name they're wanting to hear. The rest of us will find a table and relax before unloading our gear. "
The inn is a large three-story building, From the outside, it looks intimate, humble and homey. Stacked stones and carved pillars make up most of the building's outer structure. It's hard to see through the small, curtained windows, but the clinking of beer glasses from within can be felt outside.
As you enter the tavern through the hard wooden door, you're welcomed by cheerful singing and amazing, but unknown scents. The bartender is handling some customers but still manages to welcome you with a smile.
It's as engaging inside as it is on the outside. Squared, wooden beams support the upper floor and the lanterns attached to them. The walls are covered in photographs of personal achievements, all related to the nearby Lake Galifar.
The tavern itself is packed. Passing traders seem to be the primary clientele here, which often leads to exciting evenings. Several long tables are occupied by separate groups who, after having had quite a few drinks, seem to be trying to prove which group is best. The other, smaller tables are also occupied by people who are singing and dancing, occasionally pulling an unsuspecting waitress amidst their dancing group. Even most of the stools at the bar are occupied, though nobody seems to mind more company.
You did hear rumors about this tavern, supposedly it's famous for something, but you can't remember what for. Though judging by the number of cups, tankards, and glasses on the table, it's probably the fine alcoholic drinks. You manage to find a seat and prepare for what will undoubtedly be a great day.

Kora makes her way to her seat, gettin' cozy with whomever she's next to (Kash on one side) in the very full tavern. She'll order a pedestrian ale (bit early in the mornin? Nah...) and a trencher of food. Anyone (not from our group) makes eye contact with her she'll scowl at them.
