OOC: Gotta back us up just a slight bit. Since Aradurk is still up and on his feet thanks to Relentless Endurance, it's changed some things. Aradurk is still engaged in melee combat with two orcs. Tanakir is also engaged in melee combat with two orcs in the window room.

It will take a full round of movement (30 feet) for Aradurk to reach Tanakir at the edge of the window.

OOC: didn’t realize i was shifting the sands of time. Sorry.

OOC: No worries at all, it just changes Tanakir's action(s), and Aradurk has a turn to take.

Aradurk disengages from the orcs and moves his barely breathing ass back to the window.

With an orc army hot on his tails, Aradurk manages to scramble away from their axes and reach the seventh floor window.

OOC: Tanakir still has his action to use this round before the enemies' turn. Aradurk will be able to jump from the window in the next round.

(If Aradurk can get up and make it to the window, then Tanakir still has movement, action, and hasted action)

Tanakir grabs ahold of Aradurk before launching both out the window.

OOC: Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Wrenching Aradurk out the window like a ragdoll, Tanakir and the half-orc plummet from the tower. Their last sight of the Lonely Tower is a small, human child standing over the body of Dwa Trollblood. The child picks up the ogre's greatclub, at least four times the size of its own body, and pummels an orc against the wall.

The pair slow at the last moment and landing on their feet as Wes softens their fall. A globe of darkness covers the wall of the tower at the window's location, and Fumbles flies to the ground to meet you. 

"Well that wasn't how we drew it up, but I'd say getting away from an orc army with everything we came for is a rousing success! Wait, where's Zikahl?" Fumbles says as Rycider blinks out of view. "He'll have to find his own way out. This way! Roccar should be on the other side of that hill with an airship, and your payment."

OOC: Each character has received 300 XP for sweeping the upper levels of all stragglers before looting the vault, 300 XP for successfully looting the vault, 300 XP for leaving behind clues to misdirect suspicion (thanks to Rycider's epic speech), 1000 XP for escaping the vault room alive, 300 XP for enacting an escape plan (thanks to Wes's feather fall), and 100 XP for slowing and eventually killing Dwa Trollblood, for a total of 2300 XP.

In addition, Aradurk and Tanakir have each received 950 XP for defeating Dwa Trollblood and an orc before escaping (which by the way I definitely did not expect).

"The orc army was... unexpected. What were you looking for anyways, Fumbles? Was it just that creature?"

“Seriously Fumbles - we go into a heist and we rescue a critter whose very  name almost shattered our minds. Does that get us closer to the floating tower?” Aradurk has little energy left but sounds more than a little annoyed at the subject.

"The beholder was unexpected, and terrifying," Fumbles huffs as the party leaves the tower behind. "It's a long, long story, but I think you got the jist of it from that thing's mind. Something is coming to Toril; something that has already happened, and yet has not happened at the same time. It's..." He waves his arms in frustration. "Honestly we know little more than you do. But the halfling that attacked Wes...he has something to do with it. He's obviously been using the tower to create these staffs, but their power can do more harm than good in the wrong hands."

His explanation is cut off by the view as you crest a hill; an airship, nestled in between two hills, large enough for a crew of at least 40 and currently floating a ladder's length above the ground. As you approach, a tall, muscled human waves and drops a rope ladder off the side of the airship's hull.

"Heard you could use a ride," he shouts.

For Aradurk and Karst:

Climbing up the ladder, Aradurk looks at Roccar and grins.

"Pretty good seeing your face, in spite of the fact that it's your face.", Aradurk says laughing, slapping Roccar on the shoulder warmly as he climbs aboard.

Rycider pops back into existence at the bottom of the ladder.

Ah don't suppose Ladies First applies when you can't see tha lady she grins Permission to come aboard Captain Darlin'?

She climbs up the ladder accepting any help given and collapses on the Poop Deck, pooped.

Wes jumps up to reach the ladder and begins to climb up.  Petunia sitting on the deck waiting for him as he struggles.  Finally getting up from the climb “Wes Fiddletum, pleased to meet you.”  Before he tries to find some place comfortable under some shade.

"Aye. Although if we have the time, I would like to hear some of the story."

Tanakir moves to climb up the rope and introduces himself as he reaches the top, "I am Tanakir. Pleasure to meet you."

"Roccar, formerly captain of the Reavers, now an emissary of Sundabar," Roccar introduces himself, sharing a chuckle with Aradurk at his comment. He stares at the quiet Karst for a moment, simply giving him a nod.

It is just under a day's ride to reach Sundabar, during which Roccar listens to tales of your heist. Upon arriving, he pays the party a sum of 2,000 gold pieces. "Fumbles speaks highly of all of your abilities. We are going to need all the help we can get in the coming days, if you will lend a hand; and if saving the world isn't enough incentive for you, there's more gold in it for you."

OOC: Each character has received 400 gold pieces.
