"I make no excuses or ask pardons for my behavior. The elemental was not threatening, so I saw no reason to hold it. The fiends... we saved you from them after they took a couple of very deep bites out of you if I remember correctly. And ok... Dagger. What about Knife?" Leto says just as the ground begins to shake. Looking back to the Warforged, his raven caws and he adds "We'll come back to this" as he stands up, and makes his way over to a window to peer out. perception 19 Leto will then relay whatever he sees to everyone inside.

 ((Whether's you're a newbie or veteran, I think we -- as DMs and players -- can always learn and get better at playing D&D. I'm glad that we can step back and talk about this and resolve issues together. Now let's go see what the rumbling is about!))

Krwa

Before I get up from my seat and follow Leto to the window, I ask Dagger/Knife: "We have little in the way of answers either about how we got here. I only know that I woke up about the same time as the others and followed the path before seeing you. What's important is that we managed to get out of that iffy situation earlier, so thank you for defending us against the fiends. Will you bring us to the Jailkeep later? I hope that returning to the place would help us get to the bottom of this." Hearing the rumbling, I say: "Stay and drink my ale, we need to see what the rumbling is about first."

((Hah. I'm going with the story that we helped him with the fiends. Which from my perspective we did. He got bit to **** then peaced out. Coming back when it was safe))

Hurmur stays at his table with his sword resting across his lap and his shield still around his arm so that he does not have to waste a moment if things go wrong. If he feels at all threaten he will clearly show it with a scowl that seems to be all but permanently glued to his face.

((He can have been kidnapped. But still Leto thinks that the party saved the warforged who was about to get eaten without them. i.e. Leto views him as weak and a bit crazy ~~))

As you all look outside, you notice something you didn’t see earlier. A giant tower looms in the middle of the town, with a giant ball of darkness st the top, concealing a part of it. You look backwards to Dagger drinking Krwa’s ale. That would be the jailkeep. Your home, and the Jail, and even has its own bar. You really don’t remember?

Krwa

"No." I then step outside and approach this tower. ((If I see an entrance, I'll try to get inside.))

Leto, too, will head outside. As he does his raven flys up from his shoulder and around the tower, before coming back down to join Leto again. Before walking towards the entrance Leto will walk a full circle around the tower to get an understanding of it's size and shape. perception: 17

Florus follows Leto and Krwa to the tower "How eerie"

There is a large door in the tower, and as you all enter, it’s more cozy then creepy. There is a living room, a kitchen, and everything else one would expect in a house. The tower is about 78ft high, and 20ft on each side, in a square shape. 

As you all venture around, you come across the Jail section of the Jailkeep. A section cut off from the rest is filled with cells, in one of them lies a 13 year old kid. He smirks, puts his finger over his mouth (in the ‘Shh!’ Motion) and lies back down in his bed. 

Leto will walk around, and attempt to find stairs to higher levels. If this is our tower, as has been claimed, he'll be looking for 'his' room.

Leto finds a door labeled Leto . Inside you find multiple random things, that just by looking at them are slightly magical. None are of any use, however. His bed is just like any other bed, however, it has a Stuffed Raven on it. You find a shield lying down in the corner, and a Halberd In another one, in addition to a poster on the wall that is so large, it touches the ground. What is on it? Nothing, it’s blank.

Krwa

I head to the kitchen to look around. I'm looking for anything strange or signs that it's been used. I'm also looking for alcohol or a snack to eat. If there's a cook or someone, I'd like to speak with him/her. 

Perception roll = 21

You find every sign it’s been used. The fridge is open. From the Jail, the teen says to you, I was hungry, sorry. The door then shuts itself.

You find many different Alcohols and foods, all of which just happen to be the best goods in your life! (Feel free to say what foods they are, if you’d like)

Krwa

After picking two bottles of cienna and a ham & cheese sandwich, I run back over to the teen. "You! I heard you back in the forest! Tell me why we are in this place, you seem to know something. Or anything about the madness of it all." Realising how flustered I am, I stop a little and say: "Sorry, it's been a rough day. My name is Krwa. And apparently I'm one of the owners of the Jailkeep. What's your name?" I start nibbling on the sandwich and pour myself a glass of wine.

Walking around the tower Florus will pull out his Amulet of Myrkul and cast Detect Magic

Your senses are almost overwhelmed. There is a huge aura of magic, everywhere. The Air itself is magic. The Jailkeep is magic. The food is magic. The rooms are magic. The lighting is magic. Everything here is magic, from the kitchen to the lights to the teenager in the cell.
