Bason is mostly quite throughout the conversation. It seems like a lot is going on, and he's not the most eloquent speaker. As Barnibus rejects the beer, he will pipe up and say "You can always come by and sample some of my new brews when you are off duty."
As Barnibus talks about the children, and lets them know that they are safe, a weight seems to lift from Bason's chest. He didn't realize how much that was weighing on him. He thought that they were injured in some way. He was never one to see a child be injured, especially if he could prevent it.
Kestrell shouts from the table top: "Who wants to rub my belly?!?"
Then realizes that he spoke actual words and not "Meows", he clears his throat and sits up.
"Bwhahaha. You are one crazy man! I like it." Bason will go up to Kestrell and pat him on the belly. "You make a good cat, too! Bwhahaha!"
Bason will watch as Elon goes up to his room, then turns to the others. "So, what's the plan. We have to find that stone right. And the .... ahhh.... nimb.....Damn it Kestrell, now I can't remember what they are actually called! Anyways, we still have that doohickey that senses it, right. Should we go on a hunt?"
"Thank you, Serinade, no need now that I'm not a cat though."
"And thank you Bason Jar, I've never been turned into a cat before. Never been turned into anything, really. That was an amazing experience! I'm glad to be back in my usual form though."
"So, the Greyhounds betrayed us, aye? We may have to pay them a visit in the future. I am certainly up for hunting this Nimbwit thing. I also want to get some new equipment, do you think we can make some coin if we find the Nimbwit?"
Selinae fixed Kestrell with a wicked grin, " Your loss...."
" As BAson said, we have the detector we just need to think what general area it may have gone to...unless its still in the manor in some hidden room..."
Phaedra gives a little wave to Barnibus as he storms off and then hesitantly watches Elon do the same.
"You know I had a very normal family growing up. No father, just a highly religions mother who vehemently sought the doom of all evil within the Realms. None of this internal fighting... none at all. But I think Barnibus' works have rung true which is for the best. At the end of the day there is a reason a reputation sticks. It is the same with the Harpers. I know what people say about us. That we meddle, we are do gooders, but at the end of the day we seek to right injustice"
Phaedra sighs and sits down.
"So once again we have a lot to do. Trollskull opens in only two days time and we must get ready for that. Otherwise a lot of work will go to waste. But then we also need to find the Nimblewright. Waterdeep is a very big city so it is pointless wandering around aimlessly looking for it even with the device. But I think Selinae is on the correct path. We know a little about it and I think it will do one of three things. Go back to the Gralhund Villa, try to find Manshoon or maybe if it is now lost without the Gralhunds, return to its creator back at the Church."
"But I am also concerned about those children and the effects that there parents will have on them and for that matter what there parents will now do. At the end of the day we are now a loose end that was, in there eyes, responsible for the Watch find out there dirty little secret. I wonder if the rumor of them being workshippers of Asmodeus is spreading around Waterdeep yet? I am not sure how much you all know about Asmodeus, but he is not a good deity. He is evil. They call him The Cloven, Old Hoof and Horn or the Lord of the Ninth, because he is the master of all of Hell. You do not pray to him for selfless reasons, you pray for power, money and gain and you are willing to do the bidding of a devil to get it. Right now, we are probably in the Gralhund's prayers, and not in a good way. And unlike the Black Network because they are nobles of Waterdeep the Watch would not be able to do much about them unless they slip up."

"Right you are, Phaedra! No, I didn't know much about Asmodeus."
In a rare moment of seriousness Kestrell says: "If you think we are really in danger from the Greyhounds, we should probably confront them. Face it head on. Let's do the walkabout their property and try to detect the thing. Then we knock on their door and tell them we know what they are up to, we know that they know that we know, and that they should leave."
"Either way, we find Monsoon or the Nimbwit and we bring the Greyhound issue to a head."
"Mystra can help me to locate it if it is near. If I pray to Mystra and someone else 1000 feet from me also uses the devise, we could sweep bybthe Villa again and the Church to double check, as well as the path between them."

They can give us all sorts of trouble, both personally and for our new business venture. We should defenitly try to help the children, but I don't think we should confront the Gralhund's, at least not right away."

"Alright, let's go try and find it then. I won't seek out the Greyhounds, but if we happen to run across any of them..."
"Give me the locator thing, I'll run it. Let's go! Phaedra, you and I about a thousand feet apart, aye?"
Kestrell holds his hand out for the locator thing and then starts walking.
" Who needs a bodyguard while they look?", Selinae grinned.
"I can only hold the power for around ten minutes at a time, so lets head to the closet location first and start form there."
