OOC: every time I write Asariel it auto corrects to Israel I have to write out my sentence somewhere then copy paste it into here it's very frustrating
Asariel comes to realise her surroundings but remains seated. She doesn't want any trouble
"Good idea keeping your head down, tiefling. Sorry, Asariel isn't it?"
'Vassa looks to the human with his dagger drawn and raises an eyebrow.'
"It happened fast, but best I can tell the 1/2 orc's accusing that lot of somekind of murder and they didn't take too kindly to it, throwing the first punch. 5-1 - not exactly sporting odds, though the 1 is a mighty big 1. Maybe even a 1.5. Can't see any weapons drawn yet though... apart from yours that is."
'Vassa says the last eyeing his dangerous looking companion warningly as he moves towards the fray, calling out'
"Be warned, friend. A tavern brawl's one thing, but you do not want the watch after you for murder."
'Vassa takes another sip of his drink, places it carefully down and keeps a close eye on the brawl as he pulls his viol and bow out.'

[OOC] [Perception] 4 [/Perception] 'Vassa fails to note the firebolt beneath the table'
"Vassa's the name and a genuine pleasure it is to make your acquaintance, Asariel. I'm rarely the voice of caution in such situations, but as I live here and some of you appear to be visitors, I feel it behooves me to say that while a brawl may get those involved a rap on the proverbial knuckles, killing citizens in these parts can earn one some serious hard time... or worse! I hope our rangy friend over there doesn't do anything rash."
'Vassa begins plucking the strings on his viol as he studies the unfolding brawl. He does not move forward yet, but if the fight escalates (i.e. noise and commotion, spectators getting pulled in, or Kestrell attacking anyone) he will will stand atop their table for a (hopefully) better vantage point and cast viscious mockery (trying to do enough damage to knock the man unconscious, definitely NOT kill him) on the tatooed figure calling out.'
"Eye would say fight her one-on-one like a man, but Eye don't honestly know if you are one."
[OOC] If he doesn't notice the bruhahaha getting bigger (entirely possible with that DREADFUL perception roll, he does nothing... yet. Edited for the failed perception check.

Aenio casts light on the table the fighters are at after moving in and shouting “HALT THIS BARBARIC MADNESSS!” ( I want it to be kind of like a flash grenade only blinding people, but if I need to roll tell me what to roll.)
Also initiative beacause after this Aenio joins the brawl. 13

'Vassa looks to the hulking figure of the warforged still sitting at the table, realising that the armoured behemoth could probably tip this alread volative situation one disastrous way or another, and says'
"Well done on not rampaging into the fray, my big friend. We don't know yet where the truth or fault of this situation lies, and we definitely don't want to hurt, well not seriously hurt, anyone in here without good cause."
[OOC] In a typical bar-brawl situation, Vassa might be inclined to stir things up for a bit of (mostly) harmless fun. His only reservation in this situation comes from his uncertainty about his companions (if things get rough, will they have his back, etc.) and the location (this particular tavern is VERY well known, and if citizens like Vassa know it well, then the seemingly omniprescent authorities in the city know it EVEN better).

Initiative roll for human attackers: 9
The tattooed human hears Vassa's, Kestrel's, and Aenio's comments and motions to two of the others. Those two humans move to block Kestrel's and Aenio's path.
Vassa, the crowd breaks for just a moment and you see the two humans approaching your friends.
Kestrel, and anyone else jumping in - Initiative roll please
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kestrell looks at the two humans approaching, and says "I have no quarrel with you. How about everyone calm down, I'll buy a round of drinks for you and the Half-orc lady and we can work this out."

'Seeing the two humans approaching my new friends, Vassa makes the decision to join the fray to defend his drinking buddies, who were brave enough to go to the defence of the lone 1/2 orc' Initiative20
[OOC] Vassa doesn't plan to move as long as the enemies are within 60' (the range on both his below actions)
'Fearing for his somewhat frail wizard friend's well being, he casts Vicious Mockery on the enemy approaching Aenio'
"How many humans does it take to beat-up a half-orc... too bad you'll not find out this day, koboldface" - 2
'While with a couple of notes on his viol, as a bonus action, he sends some bardic inspiration towards Kestrell'
"The barmaid spoke up, she said 'leave that one alone', she could tell right away, that he was bad to the bone"
[OOC] Kestrell gains Bardic Inspiration 2 on one ability check, saving throw or attack roll he makes within the next 10 minutes.
While he's probably too busy to note this round, he's trying to take stock of what these foes look like, i.e. are they wearing armour or concealing cloaks, tatooed like their apparent leader, have any weapons visible, do they look strong or tough, etc. Investigation 13 for whenever he has a chance to take stock.

Aenio's magic spell goes a little awry when tattoo dude steps into his light of sight. Instead of casting light on the table it's cast directly on tattoo dude's face, effectively blinding him. Tattoo dude starts to scream just as Kestrell attempts to persuade everyone to stop resulting in more battle noise.
As tattoo dude yells and attempts to cover his eyes to no avail you hear the half-orc yell in a mocking tone, "Aww, does the light hurt the poor thief. Come here Krentz, let Yagra turn it out for you" and with that the half-orc steps in with haymaker and lays Krentz (aka, tattoo dude) out cold.
As Krentz is falling the human closest to Aenio stops mid-step and grabs his head and yells in pain.
Kestrell, seeing this all take place while hearing Vassa's song feels more confident, inspired even.
Aenio & Kestrell have two human's standing in front of them, one a bit dazed. Krentz is unconscious with Yagra the half-orc standing over him, facing Aenio & Kestrell but approx 10 feet away. The remaining human is 20 feet on the other side of Yagra coming up behind her.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
We now have 3 enemies situated like so:
A) One in front of Aenio, just now lowering his hands from his head. B) One in front of Kestrell feeling a bit cocky now that he tossed him. C) One approaching the half-orc Yagra from behind as she's continuing to gloat over the knocked out Krentz
A swings on Aenio (unarmed strike): Attack: 19 Damage: 1
B swings on Kestrell (unarmed strike): Attack: 3 Damage: 4
C attempts to shove Yagra off of Krentz. Strength check 11

"Asariel, are you OK? You were out for quite a while, and hot to the touch!"
Kestrell looks up at the commotion.

Kestrell surreptiously draws a dagger and goes over to the crowd. "Did anyone see what started this?"
