(Did Dog see anything in the openings to the west, just behind him and just beside him now?)(Also how fast was Garielle moving? Fast enough that it explains her outrunning us, or slow enough that it seems she could be hiding somewhere very close by?)
Dog will try to listen for any movement from the vampire, and otherwise will follow the lead of the ranger, who seems to know more about how to track undead than he let on. If there's no obvious decision from Martin, he will look in the library, worried about Garielle going back to Gash and Althus.
(Sorry, this didn't show up in my alerts. A passage leads to another room to the west, of which Dog can only see a little bit. Garielle was moving quite fast. If you want to listen for the vampire, you'll need a perception check that beats this stealth roll: 10)
I feel a bit like Martin’s perception check should’ve clobbered that
(Yeah, I'm torn on that because Martin was tracking the vampire's scent but Dog was trying to listen for her. I still haven't figured out how I feel about it.)
A door opens with a piercing squeak in the library, giving away the vampire's position. She cackles, her voice echoing through the stone-built house.
Dog steps cautiously into the library and finds it empty. The door to the south is wide open, however, leading back into the hallway between the foyer and the kitchen.
It is hard to tell exactly which way she went. Probably west down the hall? at the north end of the foyer is open. Whichever way she went, she is no longer in sight.
Bulwark's body creaks, as without a visible enemy his body slows down. He'll go into the room where he dropped his weapons and reclaim them, before returning to Dog, following his lead.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As Martin and Dog make their way through the library, cautious to not be surprised by the vampire, Bulwark rushes back to the foyer for his weapons. He finds the door to the north open, revealing a parlor lit by candles. Garielle stands in the room, her wounds healing rapidly. She looks over her shoulder with a wicked grin. "You found me!" she laughs, as if a child playing a game.
In a flash, she darts across the room, striking Bulwark twice.
Attack: 19 Damage: 9
Attack: 14 Damage: 6
Almost simultaneously, 3 swarms of bats arrive. One converges on Tock. The other two fly through the foyer and kitchen doors.
Dog pushes past both companions to get inside the parlor and close enough to hit the terrible vampire lady with a hammer. "Why were you waiting for us? Did you set up the trap in the mason's?" he asks, with almost a bored-sounding voice.
Warhammer Attack: 18 Damage: 13 Extra Attack: 19 Damage: 12
Both blows land with solid thuds. The vampire absently rubs her jaw, then says, "You found that, did you? I had hoped it would have done all the hard work for me."
Then she darts away, into the hallway to the east.
Tockis really surprised about the bats appearing and attacking him. He disengages (bonus action) and runs away to the south towards the main door and sees another bunch of them there, so he takes a shot at them to see if they can be cleared away before actually entering the building:
(Yes, as he was attacked by her and she also spoke. )
(I thought she attacked Bulwark who ran on to a different room based on the description, and bats attacked Tock who was outside, trying to follow the hubbub from outside last I checked. Good to know we can see her.)
Martin moves up close and takes half a moment to lock in on Garielle’s scent. (Mark the Scent feature)
Then he fires twice at her chest in quick succession (sharpshooter shots)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tock's bolt fires straight through five bats, causing an explosion of bat blood in the swarm. The remaining bats frenzy, attacking each other until nothing is left.
Martin, meanwhile, darts through the gallery, emerging ahead of Garielle and firing one arrow successfully into her with a soft thud. The vampire darts forward, grabbing at the ranger.
Unarmed strike: 28 (If it hits, STR(18) or DEX(18) to escape)

A door opens with a piercing squeak in the library, giving away the vampire's position. She cackles, her voice echoing through the stone-built house.
Dog carefully moves into the library and gets ready to throw his javelin of lightning when he sees her, and then close with his warhammer.
Dog steps cautiously into the library and finds it empty. The door to the south is wide open, however, leading back into the hallway between the foyer and the kitchen.
Dog tries to follow the sound of the cackling, calling to the others...

(The door to the south is still closed, fyi.)
Bulwark's body creaks, as without a visible enemy his body slows down. He'll go into the room where he dropped his weapons and reclaim them, before returning to Dog, following his lead.
(Yikes, I don't remember where that was...)
Ah, found it. the foyer. Let me update things then...)

(Bulwark, Martin, and Tock are up.)
If Dog can gesture to Martin, 'that way' pointing through the smaller room as a shortcut, he will.
Yep
Tock is really surprised about the bats appearing and attacking him. He disengages (bonus action) and runs away to the south towards the main door and sees another bunch of them there, so he takes a shot at them to see if they can be cleared away before actually entering the building:

Bulwark lets out a mechanical growl, and even as his body strains, he runs after the vampire, frenzying once again.
He'll use his movement and a dash action to make it to the vampire.
