If Dog can use his reaction on S2's last round's attack on FeyTok, he will (disadvantage on the roll). Then attacking again with longsword, trying to position himself to flank it with Keyrie coming on the scene:
Attack: 18 Damage: 7
(If the snake can't be flanked by a Goliath due to size, ignore the second roll)
Dog checks to make sure everyone's okay, and then takes a brief closer look at both snakes, and then the debris on this side of the stream to see if he can spot anything interesting (investigation/perception: 8). "Can we cross this stream on the log? Or actually, Gash, perhaps Friend could take a quick look at what's on the other side while we catch our breath? We're headed south through this valley but seems like no one's been here in a while and maybe there's something useful that got left behind."
He asks Keyrie where the third one went and he tries to ensure that it hasn't circled back to be another threat.
Friend flies across the stream and circles around a simple cemetery up the hill slightly from the stream. It looks decades old, at least, and perhaps older. The grave stones are small and plain and there are no large tombs here. In the center of the cemetery is a 6-foot tall obelisk with 25 names engraved on it. The top name reads "Merxina Gend". There is little else of interest here.
"Friend found Merxina's grave site. I think we should go check it out." Gash calls Friend back. "She left so much for us. I'd like to pay respects, and who knows we might have a connection or a clue of where to go next?"

The party crosses the stream with no problems and hikes a short distance up the hill to the small, plain cemetery. It is overgrown, having not been maintained for a long time. The years have been kind enough to it, though, since it still is recognizable for its intended purpose. The short obelisk in the center of the cemetery looks to be a tribute to 25 community members, including Merxina Gend, listed at the top in larger letters than the rest. The obelisk is otherwise plain, with no ornate carvings, markings, or protrusions. By all accounts, it appears to be what it is, a memorial for those the protectors destroyed in the cavern town. A search of the rest of the cemetery provides little else, except the names of those who survived the strange cult and abandoned the cavern town.
Dog stands and pays his respects, glad he could finally put her to rest, but still frustrated about why they had to fight them as zombies for so long. "Either their plan to preserve themselves backfired and turned them into monsters, with Merxina maintaining just enough sanity to be able to talk to us while also trying to kill us... or someone corrupted them. I also really would like to know who built the cavern town. If it was Merxina, she is even more astounding than we knew. But if it wasn't her, who did build it?"
He stays alert for the third snake, offers to help FeyTok field dress one of the dead ones for some dinner, and lets anyone rest who needs to rest. If there's more travel time in the day he's happy to move along and put some distance between them and the other snake.
Gash places his hand on the obelisk. And begins to read every name on there. As he finishes he says to himself, “Merxina, I hope you truly are looking out for us. I am placing total unguided trust in you. I barely understand what I’m doing. I will protect these two. I know they are special. I just hope I’m smart and talented enough to help.”

"My spell on the snake should last for 24 hours, so we should be safe from it at least until then." Keyrie also pays her respects and try and leave a message in Druidic that thanks Merxina for her sacrifice and hopes that she will find peace wherever she is going.

Taking Tock's advice Lucien takes careful aim and casts Guiding Bolt at S1 Attack: 14 Damage: 15
"I warned you." Keyrie runs towards the nearest snake and slashes at it with her scimitar. Attack: 10 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Rerolling damage in case it hit, I seem to have entered in wrong or something

Lucien's spell slices through S1 and it falls limp at Gash's feet.
Keyrie runs over to S2 and slashes at it over the log it is hiding behind but her blade does not find its target.
(Feytok, Tock, Dog, and Gash are all up. Only S2 remains.)

Gash looks at the last snake, points his finger and out shoots a firebolt
Attack: 15 Damage: 10
Gash - Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
Disadvantage roll for Snake 2: 20 (Feytok still takes damage.)
Dog's sword cuts the snake deep, but it is Gash's fire that brings the snake to an end.
(Combat has ended!)
“Looks like we have dinner tonight.”

(Are there graves as well or is it purely a memorial site?)
Gash ritually casts detect magic

(There are graves as well. Although none of the names completely match those on the memorial, many last names do.)
Detect magic reveals no magic in the area.
