"Is this the trial? To kill the crystal minotaurs? Or to make it out of here alive? I'd appreciate any information about how dangerous they are before we engage. Bulwark, do you eat? Try these berries, they will repair damage."
Dog hands over 9 berries to Bulwark and then walks down the corridor a bit, readying his warhammer.
When first Bulwark and those he guarded came down here, was it for this minotaur trial? Or another reason, and his body has been here since. What information does he know about the Crystal Minotaurs?
Sorry, I meant to give you this information earlier. He has fought at least one Minotaur Living Crystal Statue, so he knows everything about their defenses and attacks. He also knows they will seek out interlopers in the labyrinth and that they are unaffected by the portal auras.
Oh, and as for why you ended up here, I leave that to you! It could be that you stumbled upon it in a couple of different ways and were exploring it for treasure or to study it not knowing its purpose or it could be that you were seeking entry into Taur.
“I think we’re going to have to fight it. I’d like to spend some time with these teleporters and their magic light they give off before we go to try and use them to our advantage.”
(is gash outside of the light/reach of the stone? If so I think I want to go in and attempt identify but if I get teleported I want to step out and back in to try and come back to this room then without leaving the lit area cast identify)

Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
(Gash is outside the aura right now. When he tossed the candle, it disappeared upon entering the aura. Gash did cast identify when he arrived, though.)
"Can we not simply destroy the minotaurs? Can they be destroyed? We can figure out a puzzle by just stepping in and out of each new teleported we find and taking notes on where each one takes us. I'm guessing it would not be much of a trial, though, if we just teleported around until we found an exit."
Dog looks like he wants to hit something very hard.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Let's test ourselves against it -- we can always retreat to the green light together if it proves to be too much," Dog says as he moves forward, warhammer spinning in his hand in a flurry. He's wanted to hit something ever since they lost Genny and Nev, and has lost more and more of his patience ever since encountering the minotaurs and their trials.
On his way to meet the minotaur, he looks at the pool to see if it's water, still, moving, etc, and also looks around the corner into the rest of the room.
If there's a way for him to pause in box 14 to let the advancing minotaur continue forward 5 feet, and also allow the other melee fighters to advance with him, he'd try to do that. If it's not feasible or too complicated to try to coordinate with FeyTok and assumedly Bulwark a pseudo-readied action, then we can totally skip. Attacks (now with Extra Attack!):
Attack: 22 Damage: 13
Attack: 20 Damage: 11

Gash - Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
(Gash is outside the aura right now. When he tossed the candle, it disappeared upon entering the aura. Gash did cast identify when he arrived, though.)
“Well the rooms are simple teleporters. Worse comes to worse we can use them to give the crystal Minotaurs the slip”
Gash - Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
“Perhaps that is the trial? We have to figure out the teleportation pattern and avoid the Crystal Minotaurs.”

Dog looks like he wants to hit something very hard.
In answer to Dog's (aggressive) musing, another roar bellows from deep within the dungeon.
“I think we could probably take this thing.”
Gash - Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
"Affirmative: They can be destroyed." Bulwark then recounts what he knows of their defenses and attacks (DM).
He'll also eat the berries and use his second wind. 9
(This is what is a-comin' Minotaur Living Crystal Statue)
(Can't see because I don't have that book, but neither does Dog, so it's okay!)
Crystal Minotaur:
Immutable Form. The statue is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form.
Multiattack. The statue makes two attacks: one with its greataxe and one gore attack.
Greataxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d12 + 4) slashing damage.
Gore. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) piercing damage.
Flying Shards. In response to a creature hitting the statue with a melee weapon attack, the statue deals 11 (2d10) piercing damage to the attacker.
“Let’s follow that roar and prove ourselves worthy. We still need to find our friend. Dog, Stones, Robit, Let’s go.”
Gash starts to lead the way but quickly drops pace so he can be behind Dog.
Gash - Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
Before Gash can get underway, the Crystal Minotaur appears on the edge of the pool in the room ahead.

Everyone may take their turn in any order before the crystal minotaur goes.
Tock moves to 17, casts Bless on himself, Dog and Stones and then says, "Dog, take it's leg off first if you can!"
(Dog has advantage on attack against the thing)
(What do we see it doing? Roaring? Running? Walking? Brandishing a weapon?)
It is walking in your direction holding a giant battle-axe.
