Xavice turns to Zed and flashes a smile toward him. "Alright then, I'll head off with you shall I, it doesn't quite seem safe to go off alone in this place."
Zed Scoffs and raises his eyebrow towards him. "This house couldn't throw anything at me that I haven't already seen... But you can come along if you'd like... Just don't try anything funny." He progress downwards towards the first floor.

Zed and Xavice descend the spiral staircase to return to the first floor of the house. They notice a black marble fireplace at one end which has a longsword with a windmill cameo worked into the hilt. The wood-paneled walls are ornately sculpted with images of vines, flowers, nymphs, and satyrs.
Meanwhile, everyone else ascends into the attic. The hidden staircase is quite narrow and is choked with dust and cobwebs. They step into the hall of the attic and will notice the doors to every room is shut and appears to have been neglected for an indefinite time period.
Meanwhile, Zed begins to explore the first floor of the house, beginning with the first room he comes to on his right. He quietly inspects the room as a whole before rummaging through the rest of the items in the room.

Moves up the stairs behind Eldon, his eyes traveling over the walls and about the room. He moves about the room slowly checking the walls and floors for clues.
Eldon attempts to enter the Children's Bedroom but fails as the door appears to be locked. When he investigates the door and padlock, he remembers that he picked up an iron key from the library earlier. Urgog doesn't notice much about the attic hall as it's quite bare with no furniture or wall decorations. Urgog will open the door to the bedroom at the bottom of the attic hall and will glance inside to see a spare bedroom. This dust-choked room contains a slender bed, a nightstand, a small iron stove, a writing desk with a stool, an empty wardrobe, and a rocking chair. A smiling doll in a lacy yellow dress sits in the northern window box, cobwebs draping it like a wedding veil.
When Urgog walks over to the west, the rooms adjacent to the locked room that Eldon is investigating, Urgog will two doors across from each other. The door on the right opens into another spare bedroom. This web-filled room contains a slender bed, a nightstand, a rocking chair, an empty wardrobe, and a small iron stove. The door on the left is the storage room. This dusty chamber is packed with old furniture (chairs, coat racks, standing mirrors, dress mannequins, and the like), all draped in dusty white sheets. Near an iron stove, underneath one of the sheets, is an unlocked wooden trunk.
Zed walks into the Dining Room. The centerpiece of this wood-paneled dining room is a carved mahogany table surrounded by eight high-backed chairs with sculpted armrests and cushioned seats. A crystal chandelier hangs above the table, which is covered with resplendent silverware and crystalware polished to a dazzling shine. Mounted above the marble fireplace is a mahogany-framed painting of an alpine vale. The wall paneling is carved with elegant images of deer among the trees. Upon closer inspection of the wall paneling, Zed sees see twisted faces carved into the tree trunks and wolves lurking amid the carved foliage. Red silk drapes cover the windows, and a tapestry depicting hunting dogs and horse-mounted aristocrats chasing after a wolf hangs from an iron rod bolted to the south wall. Zed doesn't find anything else within the Dining Room.
Xavice enters the Den of Wolves, which is an oak-paneled room that looks like a hunter’s den. Mounted above the fireplace is a stag’s head, and positioned around the outskirts of the room are three stuffed wolves. Two padded chairs draped in animal furs face the hearth, with an oak table between them supporting a cask of wine, two carved wooden goblets, a pipe rack, and a candelabrum. A chandelier hangs above a cloth-covered table surrounded by four chairs. Xavice notices two cabinets standing against the walls. He'll glance to the east cabinet to see that it is locked, while the north cabinet appears not to have a lock on it.
Eldon successfully unlocks the padlock, and opens the door to the Children's Room. This room contains a bricked-up window flanked by two dusty, wood-framed beds sized for children. Closer to the door is a toy chest with windmills painted on its sides and a dollhouse that’s a perfect replica of the dreary edifice in which you stand. These furnishings are draped in cobwebs. Lying in the middle of the floor are two small skeletons wearing tattered but familiar clothing. The smaller of the two cradles a stuffed doll that you also recognize.
Everyone that enters the room can make a Wisdom check.
Eldon and Cinna are able to recognize that the skeletons are wearing the same clothes as Durst children they encountered on the street, and whom they say in the family portrait. They're able to deduce that these two children were locked inside this room and had starved to death from the isolation. Kestrell hasn't quite placed the pieces to the puzzle together yet, as he's fascinated by the dollhouse.
Eldon just looks down and does the only ting he can think to do - he walks over to the bed grabbing the sheet and just goes to cover the skeletons as if they were laying in a bed "Sleep now children and find peace in the light of Pelor. We will seek justice for you."
With that he walks out the door "Come, we have work to do."
Urgog glances in the other rooms and turns watching the others walk in the one room. He waits to see if anyone yells as if in battle. When no one does he moves closer to the door of the room as Eldon walks back out. He relays is short sentences what is on the other rooms. "Only glanced in, maybe stuff I did not see."
"While we're up here, we might as well continue on. We can go back down when we're done." Cinna follows to the attic.
