The names on the statue is written in common. You have no problem reading it. Dolen Cloudmaw: A hero that had risen from the darkness. Kayden: The man who started with nothing. Salin Firebrand: A hero burning bright with hope. Veride: The hero that rose above her curse. Viktor Redwood: The man who redeemed himself. The sixth name has been scratched out and can't be read
"...I agree the temple of Torm would be our best option, As a paladin of Tyr I have some grounds with the priests of Torm. Arion could you lead us to the temple?" Rou looks to the Yuanti Rogue Jennar "I believe you and me will be in for the long haul cause of our... appearance."
"Um..." Razek speaks over to the group, "Can we address the fact that we were just, quiet likely, sent into the future? Shouldn't we look around a bit before leaving?"
Loch prepares to move out checking his weapons and adjusting his chain mail. He walks over to the cube, “what’s a vesk? I am dragonborn, a humanoid dragon” he says with pride.
“Yes Rou, I believe our best chance for answers will be at the temple” he tells the paladin.

"Well, aside from digging around here, " Razek looks to Arion, "You were here first, and your friend there looks...knowledgeable....could you tell us anything?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Jennar shrugs at Rou. "Disguising my race is nothing new," she reminds him. However, she will look around for any sign of either hidden Yuan-ti writings or thieves' cant. Investigation: 14 (passive 17)
Arion looks around the old temple. There was never anything really of value inside here. He would just come because of the stories about the old world. He wasn't really fond of the new world. He stared curiously at the individuals who claimed that they were from the past.
"I can lead you to the temple of Torm. It's not that far from here. It was built about a hundred years ago. It's more of a heritage museum than anything else," Arion explains.
"It's run by an annoying freak," Skeets adds.
Jennar: Upon closer inspection you notice there are thieves' Cant written in several places. Then you noticed a more advanced form of Thieves Cant also written that must have developed due to the advancement of time. The Thieves Cant you can read states, "Don't trust the man in Red," and "The forgotten savior will rise again," The more advanced form is a bit hard to read but you get something like, "___ Dark Lord ____ ____ _____. Luke __ ___ ____ to save ___ ___. ____ no longer _______ ___. Our Savior ____ ______"
(Luke... dose his last name have something to do with cloud walking, or something like that?)

Are we ever sure that we exist? Do we have feelings? Or are we just NPC's designed to think highly? If so what is our purpose? Why are we here? Who are the players? Or are there Players?
Jennar: Arion and Skeets do not appear to be wearing any red. Arion is dressed in a forest green jacket, one of the sleeves is torn revealing his cybernetic arm. The floating cube however is mostly chrome colored.
Arion and Skeets lead you to the temple of Torm, which like he said was not that far away. As you approach the temple of Torm you all notice that its not complete or parts of it were destroyed. You all know that this temple did not stand here during your time. The temple looks rather small, like it can barely fit four people comfortable. Some of you would classify it more as a shed then a temple. Behind the temple you can see two large towers of similar color and design to the temple of Torm. In front of the temple you spot a small rat-like person dressed in robes and is watering some plants. The rat person looks up at all of you and grins.
As you are walking Arion states, "I wasn't the best history student, but I do remember one of the heroes were disowned and exiled,"
"Maybe Brother Dwen can answer some of your more pressing questions," Skeets suggests
Loch walks with the others still trying to take everything in. When they approach the temple, he sees the rat person and his head starts to hurt. He never understood magic and things like that. He is a military man. He knows battle and leading soldiers.
"Hey, I'm Nico Case and these are my friends. We're from way back in the past and we got sent here by the Dark Lord. Could you answer some questions for us?"

Brother Dwen smiles brightly. He rubs his hands together. You observe that the priest has quite a lot of nervous energy in him. He raises his hands up in some sort of greeting.
"Welcome, Welcome to the Temple of Torm," Brother Dwen speaks rather quickly. He seems to be a hyperactive individual. If one doesn't concentrate you might miss what he will say.
"I am Brother Dwen Boomboom. The elder gods foretold of your arrival. Well, not really. There were scrolls and auguries, but yes foretold. A scroll was passed down for quite some time detailing what I must tell you," The Priest says. He opens the door of the temple. It looks rather cramped inside, he turns back to you all and gives up.
"Wait here, I will get the texts, or perhaps Torm will get it for me," Brother Dwen sticks his arm out expectingly, but nothing happens. He scurries inside
Loch looks around at the temple and surrounding. Remembering his military training, he forces himself to be patient but alert. If it was “foretold” then other, not so nice, people could be waiting for them.

Through this entire trip, Jennar is going to continue to look for thieves' cant, to see if she can't pick up more of the newer words or forms (passive Investigation 17, but I can roll if you want).
After a short while Brother Dwen Boomboom returns with what appears to be an old, well preserved scroll. Brother Dwen opens the scroll carefully. He gestures to any of you to come to look at it.
The scroll was written by a young soldier named Leon Varsic, who would eventually become a member of the temple of Torm. The scroll details Leon leading you all to the temple where The Dark Lord was and you all suddenly vanishing. Leon and a few others suspected it was something unique so they prepared for your return. Eventually several temples were erected in hopes for your return, but you never came back. Each priest was tasked in gathering information on summoning the lost heroes. One priest in the year 1738 discovered that it possibly could be time travel and soon the priests were tasked in ways of returning you all home if you wished.
"Now that you have arrived what do you wish to do?" Brother Dwen asks.
Jennar: you are spending your time looking for other messages, but there don't seem to be any written in thieves cant. There are messages, but they are written in some sort of glyphs you have never seen before.
Loch: Give me a perception check if you want to keep an eye out for enemies
