Okay so now that Red Head is unconscious, tied and gagged and Shadow is hiding somewhere standing guard, What do you guys do? So far, no one has tried to chase you down... yet. Do you wait for... 4 Hours for the Red Head to wake up?

Whispers makes it known that she needs up to an hour down time before she can pull any of her crazy mind tricks again. How long does she figure it would take them to get out of this section of the city to something safer?

This section of the city is like a convoluted maze. She has no idea how long it might take to get out of here.

So I assume everyone waits an hour for Whispers to pull her Cathulu Magic?

A short rest would be great.

In this convoluted area, time seems to gel together. You have no idea how long passes but judging by Red Head not waking up and your bodies not healing yet, it hasn't been more than an hour (Not long enough for a short rest). Sam stays hidden using her powers on top of a nearby hut. However, she was too tired (7 Perception is not enough) to notice a group of gangers enter the building. They find the secluded area the party was resting in.

They see you and shout, "HEY! What are you doing here? This is our turf and ...." They notice Whispers' horrifying appearance and immediately step back with their Hunting Rifles and Handguns pointed at her head. "W-WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!?"

There are about 4 of them. Two of them hold Hunting Rifles (Light Crossbow) and two of them hold Handguns (Hand Crossbow). The Handgun wielders are wearing Reinforced Armored Jackets (Ring Mail) and have Meat Cleavers (Long Swords) on their belts. The ones with the Hunting Rifles are wearing Armored Jackets (Studded Leather)

What do you do?

Did Sam hear? And what is the gender mix? All males? Males and females?

Sam did not hear anything yet. I will tell you when she hears something. I don't know why you need the gender mix but it is 1 Female and the rest are male.

So... you've encountered bad guys again. What do you do?

"Shit!" says Archon. Quickly, she weaves some armor out of light and stands at the ready. She doesn't make a move yet, but she's ready to fight if it comes to that.

Whispers does the math quickly and mutters to herself. The scary look she had adopted shimmers and seems to fade, leaving behind not Whispers as Ilia and Sam have come to know her, but a non-threatening looking blonde girl, "Don't shoot, it's just a mirage. .. supposed to scare people away.." she adds like she's more annoyed they didn't run on the sight of her. Her voice is even different, softer and lighter. Sam or Ilia probably wouldn't recognize it as Whispers if they didn't already know that was her.

The Gangers give each other a confused look and keep pointing their guns at Whispers. "Get out of our turf"

Whispers glances at Ilia for a moment, trying to judge what she thinks.. though she remembers she can speak telepathically, duh... "Um, not sure we have much choice."

So uh... Whispers isn't going add anything to her explanation beyond, "It was just a mirage." That's all she's going to say to the thugs who have guns pointed at her head?

(I'm kind of hoping for some input from the other two as well here .... )

(Honestly, I have no idea what to do. We can't move our prisoner(at least not quickly), and I'm pretty sure they won't give us time to do that, especially if they know who he is. Ilia doesn't want to start any more fights, and she's already pretty beat up from the last one.)

Whispers holds up a hand, "OK, we're going.. we just got lost man." she turns to Ilia, taking her hand and moving her out in front as cover. While behind Ilia she quickly forms a minor illusion over red's body to just make him look like a pile of rubble (I'm assuming that we were already mostly obscured and had him tucked away pretty well out of sight anyway). Once out of the hiding place she pulls Ilia with her, "This place is a maze."
