Leo, you walk into the Townmaster's Hall and find yourself in a narrow hallway. It's clean, but there's little furniture to judge how well maintained - or opulent - it is. There is no-one else here, but a little further along the way you see a door that is ajar, leading into another room, and from that room you can hear most of a heated discussion between two people.
*unacceptable intrusion on our own matters...no business...
*solutions to your problems, where you have...concern is for the people of this...
(Is the rest of the group following Leo into the Townmaster's Hall?)
Sensing this could be valuable information being discussed, not to mention it being impolite to interrupt, Leo will wait patiently and attempt to eavesdrop on the conversation.
As Delmon catches up to the party heading to the town master he notices everyone on their toes and stays out of the hall looking at them with utter confusion. He just moves to one side of the wall and relaxes a moment while leaning on it.
OOC: I am not moving into the hallway. Do you still need a stealth check?
Brom would go to the Lion head place to see if the supplies they found in the goblin cave has a connect to this place and see if theres a reward for recovering said supplies. He knows that they left the crates in the cave but telling them about it and that the goblin problem is also dealt with could yield favor and coin.
Hearing Leo's voice, Delmon shakes his head with a smile on his face and begins making his way over to the group. "Best we get moving again." He says to Ophirin.
Brom, you enter the shop with the sign "Lionshield Coster" by the door. The shop is bright, clean and filled to the brim with tools, mining and farming implements, and unlike Barthen's shop, also weapons and armour. Behind the counter stands a human woman in her thirties, eyeing you with a wary but not hostile expression. Greetings, sir. Welcome to Lionshield Coster, what can I do for you?
Leo, you enter a tidy, clean office. At one end there is a desk, and there's a larger meeting table at the other. Rows of files and books fill one wall, and there is a large class window covering most of the other. It's light, pleasant, and moderately expensive for a town like this without being extravagant. Compared to the kind of workplace you're used to however, it's of decidedly inferior quality and wealth.
Standing near the desk you see a halfling man and a human man, clearly interrupted in a rather heated argument. Both are in their middle years, but where the halfling looks like he lives a comfortable and easy lifestyle, the human has very much the look of a warrior about him, though he carries no weapon at the moment. The halfling speaks: I am Harbin Wester. Who the blazes are you?
(Leo, Ophirinn, Nate and Delmon are entering the office, Brom is at Lionshield Coster, Omnia's keeping watch in the street, is that right?)
Brom would put on a friendly face as he approached the counter "Hello Ma'am are you the owner of this establishment? Me and my companions have found a few crates of tools and supplies with a blue lion head depicted on the sides in the possion of some goblins. I was wondering if those where your goods" Brom knew that her wary expression was brought on by either that he's a stranger, or his hulking size or a mix of the two but he paid it no mind.
Leo strolls over to Harbin's desk, barely acknowledging the human, his eyes transfixed on the little halfling.
Attempting to position himself with his face to the Townmaster and his back to the human - "A pleeaasssure to meet you sir, my name is Kae'leon. I understand you are Townmaster of Phandalin"
Brom, the woman's expression twists into a hostile scowl. Oh, you and your 'companions' is it? 'Found' some crates, you say? Just lying around the countryside? Hah! What happened, left your red cloak at home today? Or are you just a regular bandit who killed some decent merchant folk and hopes to make some coin?
She folds her arms. Didn't your buddies tell you? I don't deal with bandits in this shop, and I don't care what threats you make.
(Brom, depending on how you want to respond, please make the appropriate Persuasion, Deception or Intimidation check as you do.)

Nate will also tip toe in on the coat tales of Leo and Ophirinn, not saying a word.
OOC: Nope Omnia it was just before I morphed! :) I have started our new pool with those coins. We'll sell the weapons you grabbed later on.
*need to understand the danger of....
*acquiescence is not viable in the longer...
If you wish to continue to eavesdrop, I will need a Stealth check from everyone who is in the hallway.

At this point, one of the voices gets louder: Hello? Is someone out there?

Bromduhr, Goliath Fighter.
Leo steps forward and opens the door to the room the voices are coming from.
"I beg your pardon, I hope I am not intruding... but would one of you fine gentlemen be a Mr Harbin Wester?"
