Gry follows behind, trying to be silent but his armor clinks as he walks. He reaches up to grab his shield as it bangs in place and makes more noise getting it off of his back.
Priscilla has no trouble finding Castle Lane. A flickering flame of the seemingly only street light in the ward illuminates the street in the distance. The group makes short work of searching up and down the slick cobbles for a likely warehouse. Priscilla spies a black winged snake emblem on the door next to a large loading dock of a ramshackle two story warehouse opposite the working street light. The warehouse stands behind a high fence; a large double gate leads into an outer yard. From the looks of it, this is where horse drawn carts enter to either drop off or pick up whatever is housed in the dilapidated building. Priscilla also notices both the door and the loading dock doors are currently closed. Next to the smaller door is a window which seems in tact. Priscilla informs her less observant friends they have found their destination and indicates a handy place to discuss their next move behind a cart set up on blocks about 200 feet further down the road.
Three cat calling whistles echo on the quiet street where a fine mist drifts down from the heavens and coats everything in a clinging wetness. The mockingbird has followed them and watches with beady black eyes from the side cart the group is hiding behind.
"Kip, Kip, Kip," the mockingbird calls in a distinctly irritated woman's voice.
Kip's jaw goes slack as his eyes widen. A look of incredulity passes across his features, and then a spark of recognition lights his eyes. "You have got to be kidding me," he says.
The mockingbird bounces once down the plank of the side of the cart, pecks at a blackened knot of wood before looking at Kip again, tilting his head curiously. "It's your father - running his mouth. I need your help bailing him out again." Had it not been for clouds covering the full moon, Kip's companions would have seen him turn quite red, though from embarrassment or fury would have been hard to tell.
For thirty seconds, the young man stands quite still, his stiffness an attempt to gain some control on his perturbed emotions. "It seems happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way though." Kip's fists are clenched in two tight balls. "I'll try to find you tomorrow, I guess. I'm very sorry. Be safe."
((Actually the warehouse and its window are a distance behind a tall fence that encircles the property. You are not close enough to look in the window yet. To look in the window, you need to get through or over the fence. There is a double gate from your vantage on the street. Do you want to enter this fenced area??))
Priscilla creeps up to the gate of the high fence surrounding the warehouse and is happy to find while latched, it isn't locked. She easily pushes the gate wide enough for her small frame to slip through. She takes a moment to listen and strains her eyes looking into the darkest of shadows, but doesn't see anyone in the outer yard. She slips quietly across the packed dirt of the yard and up to the outside of the building. The window is just to the right of the large, double dock doors. The regular entrance is across the yard to the left of the dock door and window. She can see the flicker of candle light coming from within the building through the window.
The window is too far off the ground for Priscilla to look in directly, but fortunately for her, several pallets have been collected and are piled on each other untidily just near the window. Taking care to limit the production of noise, the rogue climbs atop the uneven pallets and peers in the window. There she sees two bird-like humanoids, known as kenku, lifting the lids of crates and pawing at the contents. One kenku brings up a black boot out of a crate and speaks to the other before tossing it and turning to wrench open another crate. The second kenku ducks its head into a crate, but it too comes up disappointed. Priscilla is unable to hear their conversation. The area is lit by a candle sitting on a table, it is a paltry light source and Priscilla is unable to completely into the large open warehouse.
Daron rubs his hands together, a look of anticipation on his face. “Well?” He prods the halfling verbally. “I’m ready to start the search for this fellow In earnest - how did it look?” He jerks his chin toward the warehouse.
Gry follows behind, trying to be silent but his armor clinks as he walks. He reaches up to grab his shield as it bangs in place and makes more noise getting it off of his back.

Priscilla signals her companions to come closer as she nears the door and wonders exactly how to approach this situation.
Priscilla giggles and looks up at Leol. She shakes her head and points to the address and whispers.
"Its right over there, shall we?"

Grykham grunts and the moves towards the cart indicated.

Priscilla leans against a nearby wall as she runs her finger over the pommel of her blade. Nervously looking over the building thinking.
"We may need to recruit a couple more to aid us. I don't think we can infiltrate this place with just the three of us"
"Okay I'll try" she says as she begins to creep along the street to get to the window.

Gryk chuckles softly. "Yes, we find ourselves caught up in something strange don't we."
He keeps an eye out.

Priscilla nods and then skitters back to her friends in waiting.

Priscilla moves like a shadow across the yard, out the gate, and to the cart Daron, Leol, and Gryk are hiding behind.

"Yes. I can't see much in this darkness. What did you see? "
Grykham continues to peer around as he whispers to the group. His eyes squinting trying to see in the dark streets.
