The darkness is the kick that topples the bucket of chaos. The defensive line of lizardfolk melts away as most of them find themselves shrouded and blinded, and though they scatter, Jove reaches one at the edge of darkness and brings his shadowy blade crashing through its unexpecting body. The wisps of gloom pass through the lizardfolk, and it separates into two.
Nearby, the salamander plunges its spear through another lizardfolk's heart, hissing and cackling with glee.

Olive rushes toward the scene of battle, where an earthen hand forms beneath Abraxas and grabs hold of the lizardfolk fighting him for a second, but the creature yanks his foot from its grasp and presses the wizard with spear and shield, driving him back.
At the dam, the weaponless lizardfolk twists and turns like a whirlwind between the other two lizardfolk that surround it, avoiding their spears as he slams his fist into the windpipe of one, then lashes out with a foot, kicking it in the chest and knocking it backward.
Round 5 Order: Abraxas and Olive <===== Lizardfolk

Aisha was just about to bring another pair of arrows to bear when Mro had commanded it to leave, She looks at him with an incredulous expression Aisha thought we were fighting it. Now you send it to flee? What if it warns the others?! Are we fighting it or not?! And why did it listen? Are you on it's ... nevermind. What are we doing? Killing it or not?! she asked, both arrows still knocked as the Enraged sprite channels energy into Tsavi again 3.
Aisha will be watching or listening depending on how Mro chooses to reply (Insight: 17) Trying to see if he was somehow being deceptive.. perhaps pretending to be an ally when he was a double agent, or something akin to that.

Aisha hisses but relents, saying Then we need to get these prisoners out of here. And we need to hurry.... Take them to the Plateau up there. My friends and this one will get the water flowing....
Harmony watches, hearing Jove's laughter and seeing as lizardfolk were being killed by Jove and the Salamander. "Yes, keep going. Kill more, all for Lord Zuzeca!" she calls out using Thaumaturgy, wondering how Aisha and the others are doing at getting the prisoners out of here. She would have also winked at Jove, giving him a Bardic Inspiration, concentrating on the darkness for now.
Assuming the chaos with Harmony and Jove's situation ensues for a moment, we'll get a little further into Aisha and Abraxas's battles to keep pace before advancing that.

One of your arrows strikes the salamander as it fast approaches T'savi, who is on her haunches and ready to leap away. Mro Jus Bir moves forward and plays a different tune on his flute, slower and more somber, and the salamander suddenly locks in place while its spear is reared back. "It will not hold forever, get out of there, panther!" he cries, but even as he does, the creature is moving again.

The lizardfolk's javelin passes through your form as it fades to mist. Its look of confusion is frozen upon its face as your ray strikes it directly in the head, killing it instantly.
Just a short distance away, the unarmed lizardfolk dances backward as its opponent lunges with its javelin; like a flash of lightning, he cuts suddenly and twists, drilling the other lizardfolk with a vicious roundhouse kick that snaps its neck. With the rest of the lizardfolk now laying dead around the both of you, the unarmed lizardfolk turns and looks to you.
The creature places its hands together - a fist against a flat palm - and bows low, respectfully. The lizardfolk looks to the dam, then back to you.
Aisha see's that Mro is fumbling about out of the corner of her eye. Thank you for whatever you did. You spared Tsavi another skewering... even if only for a moment. As Aisha knocks two more arrows, in preparation to strike once more. Aisha calling to Tsavi with sharp whistle to get of of there while the getting was good. Mro. Daggers. My hips. One on each side. Just make sure nyot to let your fingers wander too much. Then shouting loud enough that hopefully the real mayor could hear What are you doing dawdling?! Get the prisoners out of here while we have the creature occupied! And Aisha expects a great reward for saving you!
Even as she finished shouting, both arrows were loosed, hoping to fetter the creature ever lower to the ground as it lost more and more blood. Tsavi feeling the healing from the sprite just before leaving it (2). as Aisha commands the sprite to follow Tsavi.
OOC: Forgot to mention that yes, Abraxas can see the globe of darkness and the chaos happening around the altar, and can also see the salamander at the far end of the settlement moving back and forth while having arrows shot at it.
He holds his left hand flat, vertical, at a right angel to the ground and parallel to the dam. His pinky is closest to the ground and his thumb is close to the sky. He flattens his right hand and places its thumb on the thumb of his left hand, also parallel to the dam. He looks at his hands. He looks at the dam. He looks back at his hands. He looks at the lizardfolk.
Abraxas turns his right hand so its palm is against his left palm then turns both his hands so they are horizontal rather than vertical. He looks at the dam. He looks at his hands. He looks at the dam. He looks at the lizardfolk.

Both of your arrows land, one in the salamander's neck and the other into its arm. Though its natural armor protects it from falling to the missiles, you've quickly turned it into a pincushion, and it is showing the telltale signs of damage: Moving slower as blood pours and steams from its many wounds, its tail hanging and moving erratically.
The creature roars, a terrible sound from the plane of fire itself, and raises its spear to skewer T'savi. Mro Jus Bir moves as a blur of motion, sprinting to the spot and throwing both arms forward. A massive boom erupts from him, thundering into the salamander and sending it skidding back along the ground, allowing T'savi room to escape toward you as the healing spirit follows.
The salamander charges right back at the feline stranger, who moves nimbly away from the creature's large spear, but does not see its tail moving in time. The tail slams into his back, wrapping around his body and rooting him to the spot. Hissing in pain, he coughs, "Don't worry...I have it right where I want it..." but the worry on his face betrays his fear of the situation.
Behind you, the prisoners look to the mayor, who seems rooted to the spot, terror displayed on his face as sweat beads down his forehead.
Round 6 Order: Salamander Aisha, T'savi, and Mro Jus Bir <=====
Placement: Mro Jus Bir is 40 feet away from you, engaged in melee combat and restrained by the salamander. T'savi is 20 feet away from you.

The salamander is grievously wounded.

Wordlessly, the lizardfolk steps back a few feet and motions toward the dam. His eye turn toward the settlement, and you see them open wide as he looks toward the far end, where a salamander has wrapped its fiery tail around one of the prisoners. Just a few feet away, T'savi is fleeing toward Aisha as she fires arrow after arrow at the creature.
Closer to you, you see Jove seemingly teamed up with the other salamander, leading a rout of the nearby lizardfolk as he darts in and out of a globe of darkness, finding targets to slay with his shadow blade.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing the mayor not react, Aisha hisses at him as she says through gritted teeth Get them moving NYOW! The longer you wait the more risky this becomes!(Persuasion: 10) she says attemtpign to get him to start filing them out the gate while the salamander and apparently the melee in the distance is still engaged with itself.
Just as she turns around, she see's Mro intercede between the salamander and Tsavi. Aisha was simultaneously appreciative, and incredulous at the same time due to his brave stupidity.
Knocking two more arrows, she says to Mro It's on it's last legs. Hold fast. Aisha wasn't going to get near something that seared you when you touched it. Aisha also redirected the spirit back towards Mro, and unless he had gone farther than it had originally been, the spirit will land on his head, and surge life-force into his body for (6)
Once that was dealt with, And Tsavi moving the rest of the way next to her mistress, Aisha would knock two more arrows, hoping to finish this in the next few hits. Aisha is sorry you had to suffer like that T'savi...
Pulling back the string to it's absolute limit, before lettign loose two more missiles.
Attack: 27 Damage: 11 - Attack: 14 Damage: 6
((SA if hit since .. Mro is there. 5 - 6)
(Breakdown - Two attacks, Moved spirit to Mro or as close as possible. Sneak attack.)
Aisha's aim is fatally steady, and her next arrow finally strikes a point of weakness, burrowing into the salamander's eye. The creature rears back, spitting a gout of flame into the air as it hisses, and another arrow flies into its open mouth. Wriggling and writhing, the salamander releases its grip on Mro Jus Bir, and falls still after the last of its death throes have ebbed from its body.
Mro lets out a muted hiss himself, batting at some smoldering fur where the salamander's tail had burned. "I had him...right where I wanted him," he coughs.
The fall of the salamander is all the cue that Mayor Cheval needs. At his beckoning, the prisoners begin to flee the settlement en masse, running for the far gate.
Harmony and Jove can see this beyond the chaos of their situation. Three lizardfolk lay dead, one at Jove's feet and two below the salamander. The rest, at least thirty strong, have regrouped into two lines, standing shield to shield, advancing slowly toward Jove and the salamander.
For Abraxas:
The lizardfolk is oddly calm, as if he was expecting this. You can also see now that the prisoners are fleeing the camp at the far end, while the fight rages on below you.

Seeing the mayor not react, Aisha hisses at him as she says through gritted teeth Get them moving NYOW! The longer you wait the more risky this becomes! (Persuasion: 10) she says attemtpign to get him to start filing them out the gate while the salamander and apparently the melee in the distance is still engaged with itself.

((SA if hit since .. Mro is there. 5 - 6)
(Breakdown - Two attacks, Moved spirit to Mro or as close as possible. Sneak attack.)

Death on the Water and Baldur's Gate Bodyguard
