The Twin Dove is the favorite place of many on the North road. The food smells delicious and is relatively affordable. A large fire burns in one corner in the winter and even now with the chilling nights of mid spring the sisters have been thoughtful enough to light it.
There is a small crow in the common room and you are greeted with slaps on the backs and somber but empathic looks.
Gillian waves you to the bar and smiles warmly. "What a you're havin'." he asks "The girls said first round is the house for our heroes."
In the bac, amidst the pots and cooking fumes, you hear the twins arguing, good naturedly, about taste and perfection of the food.
Tait will gladly accept a mead, and sit down. Turning to his friends, he'll say, "What do you think the mayor wants, and if he asks us to go after this man that was at the house, do you all want to go?"
Not seeing Joshua, "And does anyone know if Joshua is coming?"
"I would take a nice ale, thank you.", Hoyle says to Gillian. After taking a big gulp of ale, Hoyle turns to his friends. "I don't know what the mayor wants, unless it is to just thank us. Does anyone know who that woman with him is? I haven't seen her before." Hoyle's eyes light up at the suggestion of going after the man, "I have to admit that out night was very exciting. I feel bad for the family, but helping save the children brought a lot of joy. I want to continue helping the people of our town, even if it is a bit dangerous." Hoyle pauses again, just long enough to take another swig of ale, "It is strange that Joshua isn't here. You don't think that this man is in town and tracking us down, do you?"
Klaus likewise shows up to The Twin Doves equipped with his gear as life is changing and last night showed him he might be requiring it. "I'll take the same as Talon that sounds quite nice actually, thank you Gillian." and he moves to sit with his companions. "I have to say I agree with Hoyle, it was a new experience and no matter the not perfect outcome we saved some people and I took quite a liking to that. It wasn't easy but my father has always told me the best things in life are never easy. If the mayor has a task that could involve helping people or protecting the people of our town then I won't back down!....Hmmm it is quite interesting Joshua hasn't shown up, perhaps he just required a little extra rest after last nights events? If he doesn't show up to the mayor's meeting then I'll be quite concerned for him."
Talon would hold his drink in both hands, nodding his head along as his friends speak. As he drinks his mead, the kenku would start to relax more and he would start to return to his excited self. "I want to help" He would say with a chip inbetween drinks.
Turning back to the others he expresses what he’s been thinking about.
“I’m glad we could save the girls, but if we had been sooner, we might have saved more. If we do something like this again, we should do better, be better, so no one else has to endure what those girls had to. Like if we try to track down this man. We should be more prepared, so we can avoid getting as badly hurt as Klaus. Glad you’re alright now.”
About half an hour after the meeting was meant to happen Joshua turns up, unlike last time he is now wearing his leather armour and has a rapier by his side.
"Sorry I'm late. My parents weren't going to let me come. I managed to convince them but I had to wear this ugly armour and bring this sword. What is going on?"
"We were just talking about what the mayor might want, and where you were. I am glad to see you! We were worried about you. I am ready to go see the mayor if everyone else is," says Tait who looks relieved that Joshua showed up.
"Something else to agree is who talks to the mayor? I am happy to talk, as long as we are in agreement with what we want to say. And that strange woman who was with him which is probably that one everyone was talking about, does anyone know anything about her?"
“First, what do we tell the mayor? All we know is some man came and left to the north and a huge doglike creature attacked the Norgors. And what were those creatures that we fought anyway? Not to mentions the cave in the woods, which we still need to look at so no one else goes in.”
Arric looks shocked at how many things have piled up in one day.
(I am fine with moving on unless someone else has something. Tait does not care either way about mentioning the cave and will just go with the majority.)
"I don't think the cave is connected to the attack at the farmhouse. The cave appears to be the home of some kobolds, while there were no kobold signs at the farmhouse and they retreated in the opposite direction. I am OK with bringing it up, though I am a bit suspicious of this new visitor. Too many bad things have popped up since she arrived in town. I agree with Arric, that we need to root out the kobolds in the cave too."

(When you all arrive an hour before the meeting time, Joshua isn't there)

“I’ll have some tea, thank you.”

"One of you should do the talking, I can watch for anyone acting odd or sneaky. I would like to know more about the woman too."
Arric downs his tea and says,

"Do we want to mention the cave or keep that to ourselves? The cave was east not north so probably not connected"

OOC: Should I move on or do you wish to get more talking ?
(Feel free to move on and we can assume that we talk about the Norgors and don't mention the cave unless someone expresses a desire for it)

"We should mention cave" Talon would say before taking another sip. "Might be where dogs came from"

"We don't mention the others being at the cave though. I told them that no one needs to know if the co-operate and I will keep my word"
