Joshua has nothing he is aware of wanting to buy so he will stay with the Norgors entertaining them with music while the others shop.

Cecilia is going to give each of you a Potion of Healing.

"Jonathan and I are in accordance. You are ready to go forth and adventure in the world, like we did," she smiles sadly, " but keep these to save your friends or yourself."

No.  But he left a message. 

When Talon finds the letter at home, he would hold it tightly to his chest and read it over and over again... reading it aloud to himself in the words of father Bryon as he pieces together the sentences until he can repeat it as if Father Bryon were speaking it to the kenku. After finally getting the words right and hearing his father speak them, Talon would drop his head into his hands and cry. Sounds of dogs wimpering and children crying would echo though the very empty feeling house.....

In the morning, Talon would fold up the letter and tuck it inside of his robes. His leather armor secured tightly underneath his robes as he makes his way out the door. He would be sure to bring everything with him that he might need as he heads to see Cecilia and his friends. The Kenku would be moving somewhat slowly this morning, his shoulders drooping and trudging instead of bouncing as he makes his way through town. When He is given the potion, Talon would look up. "Thank you" He would reply with a happy voice that is much more chipper than the bird-like creature that said it. Then he would pull out his coin purse and try to think of any additional equipment he may need. 

  Tait returns in the evening and tells his grandfather and mother what is going on, and that he wishes to explore the cave with his friends in the morning. His mother forbids it at first, but his grandfather reminds her that he is a man now, and it is time for Tait to make some decisions on his own. He also tells her that whatever is in the cave, along with what Father Bryon is hunting down is a threat to everyone's safety and their family does not allow their neighbors to be threatened if there is something they can do about it. His mother relents, but is still upset. After his mother goes to bed, Tait's grandfather tell him that he always knew that an ordinary life was never Tait's fate and that he is proud of him.

Tait leaves his home in the morning after saying goodbye to his family . He has all of his gear with him. Meeting everyone at Cecilia's shop, he'll thank Cecilia for her generosity.

"This is a very fine gift. Thank you Cecilia!'

Joshua will look at the potion. "Cecilia are you sure that no one else could do with this more? Are you sure that you wish to part with so many of them?"

Cecilia smiles at Joshua's concern. 

"No. I have a few more ready in that case."

Hoyle looks at the little bottle and asks, "Thanks for the potion. I have never seen one before. Do I just drink the whole thing? What does it do?"

He will buy some additional arrows, just in case.

Klaus the night before had returned home to his family, leaving out his younger siblings he told the rest what he and his friends are planning to do. His father being a soldier and an adventurer of sorts himself gave Klaus a long speech about some of the dangers of the world, about using your head to make smart decisions, and most of all, that Klaus' shield had better leave every battle in worse condition then when it started because it was his duty to make sure his friends stayed alive. Klaus' mother was upset but mostly at the fact that her children were growing up. Klaus had trained for this day to come for many many years, his whole life he knew exactly what he wanted to do when he got older and this was exactly it. He was meant to go out and fight the evils of the world and protect those who don't have the strength to protect themselves.

The next day at Cecilia's "Thank you very much for this potion, I have never used one before but my father has told me about such things many times and they have saved his life on more than one occasion."

Cecilia explains to you all how to use the potion.

Arric already talked to his father after the dinner, so when he went home, they just looked at each other for a moment before Jon said, “When I saw you standing on my doorstep all those years ago, it was a sad day. But the years with you after that brought me so much happiness. I just want to say I’m proud of you.” 

They’ll hug and the next morning after Cecilia hands him the potion and he thanks her, he’ll go to the store and buy a new herbalism kit because his ran out recently.

Talon would sit on the ground out and dig through his pack, checking to make sure he had everything he needed. Rummaging through his pack he would tap a finger to his beak. "Lock picks?" he would mime in the voice of Father Bryon. When he was first taken in by the old priest, Father took his lock picks from him because he saw them as a way for the young kenku to get into trouble. Now Talon was thinking that they might be useful in their journey. The kenku would then sling his pack over his shoulder and bounce a little more excitedly towards the general store. When he was very young he knew that shiny coins and bobbles were kept behind locks... and while he knew now that stealing was wrong... The thought of possibly unlocking a hidden treasure excited the worried kenku. Arriving at the shop, Talon would place his gold on the counter before rummaging around the store. Once he found enough items to make up a set of thieves' tools. he would place it on the counter next to his 15 gold pieces. "Please?" He would ask as he looked up to the shop keeper with his large purple eyes.

Since Hoyle is likely in the same shop as Talon, he will watch the interaction with the shop keeper and if they balk at the offer from Talon, he will step forward with additional coins.

After placing the items on the counter, Talon would give Hoyle a quick wave... trying his hardest to put on a happy expression to hide his concern for Father Bryon.

Thea just smiles at Talon and takes the gold. 

"Be sure to bring me a souvenir" she winks "and we ll just fine you and me." 

"Thanks!" Talon will reply with a small hop as he quickly scoops the tools into his bag before grabbing the womans hand and giving it a quick shake. The kenku would then run over to Hoyle and give him a quick pat on the shoulder. "You ready?" he would ask with a small tilt of his head.

"I am ready too. Lets go meet our friends and head out to the cave!", Hoyle says after paying for a bundle of arrows and a new quiver.

The group sets out for the cave. It is easier to get there now that you have found it but it is rather well hidden. 

A thrill of excitement courses though your spines as you go forth on your first adventure. 

As you get to the gully leading into the cave you notice that a steady stream of water as begun to fill the entrance of the cave. Also the skull of a kobold has been put back in its place. 

(Roll investigation, or nature ) 

You'll have to get ankle deep in the water to enter the cave. 

(I would like to know who is in front and where you all are.) 

Investigation 11

Joshua will find a stick on the ground and pass it to Talon. "Could you make this glow like you do to your rod, please. Thank you" and he will pass it to whoever is in the front. (Which should be someone who is armoured)

"Does anyone know anything about Kobolds before we head in here? And are we sure that Kobolds will be in the cave? We don't put human skulls where we live so maybe it is something that eats Kobolds"
