Red Larch Heroes

Joshua will go to the fire and throw his sheet music into the fire before keeping an eye on Thomas and James from a distance (if they split up, he will stay watching James)

(Well both just as terrible) 

You all go to the bonfire and enjoy the rest of the evening. Of James there is no sign . 

Thomas, you see arguing with his father heatedly but otherwise remains clear of you. 

At the end of the evening, has you gather one last time to say goodbye and make sure you are all meeting at The Pig on the morrow old Cecilia Dreab comes toward you. She seems upset. 

 "Damn Mayor got no time for nice folks with the Waterdeep princess coming ... "  She grumbles " I need you to go look at Gil Norgor farm. He had a shipment of fine linen for a gift to his wife delivered to my place and never picked it up. He and his family would not have missed today for sure." .... she seems to snap out of it then adds " Please. "

 Talon would wave excitedly to Cecilla as she approached and then would stop and slump a bit when he realized she was upset. "We go now?" The kenku would ask the old woman as he tilts his head to the side.

Cecilia nods and seems relieved. 

she picks one of Talon white feather that has fallen and blows on it lost in thoughts. 

"Better be prepared gentle ones. Something smells wrong here." 

Talon would turn his head quickly towards his friends, looking to see their reaction. The kenku would also quickly scan the crowd looking for father Bryon as he listens to his companions. 

Perception 23

Bryon is one of the last to go home so he is still near the fire not very far from where you all are. 

While the other kids decide if they are going to go right now, Talon would bounce away to Father Bryon. "DAD!, Cecillia asked us to go look at Gil Norgor farm" The Kenku would mimic in the old womans voice. Pausing a moment to piece together the right words in his mind. Talon would ask "It OK if I get my stuff and go? Cecillia is worried" 

Joshua looks worried. "Yes Talon. We leave now. I want to make sure that Paul and Jill are okay. I don't want something to have happened to them, especially related to that cave" Joshua will start heading over to the Norgor farm without waiting for the others to follow

Father Bryon looks at Talon for a second and smiles. 

"You will have to grow up sometime," he says more to himself than to Talon, " Go but take your stuff and be careful please." 

Talon would wave to his friends, "Getting stuff! Then I will go!" The Kenku would shout as he takes off running towards his house. Once there he would quickly put on his leather armor and gather his dagger, crossbow, and other equipment he might need. "Be prepared!" He would Kaw to himself in the voice of Father Bryon before setting back out to meet up with his friends and investigate the farm. 

OOC: Talon is going to make sure he has all of his starting equipment before heading out :D

 Hearing Cecilia's request, and seeing the others' reaction to it, "We will go look in on the Norgor farm. I will run home to gather my gear and meet you all outside the place at the old tree that grows nearby." With that Hoyle runs home as quickly as he can to suit up and head to the farm.

Joshua doesn't care about his armour or rapier (or any other equipment) except the lute he has on him already so will run straight to the old tree and watch the house/look for any signs of what happened. Perception 7.

(Why am I rolling so low... Hopefully that means I have high rolls in combat)

It is a 4 miles walk in the night ( its around 1 am ). Are you going alone ? and are the others letting you ? 

"I think it would be wise to meet up at the western most part of town before heading out. It would be better to travel as a group especially at night and if we already have suspicions of trouble." Klaus begins to take off home. While walking away he'll shout back. "I'll be waiting at the west part of town for 30 minutes or until everyone arrives and then I'll head out since time seems of be of importance!"

After gathering his equipment, Talon would have meet up with any of his friends still in town before heading out as a group.

Hoyle will head to the meeting spot Klaus suggested after equipping his gear.

Joshua casts light and will wait 30 minutes max and then will head off with or without the others

   Tait says to the others, "My grandfather's wagon is packed. I'll go home with him and meet you on the western edge of town in half an hour."

  On the way home, Tait will tell his grandfather about what Cecilia about the Norgors. Given his family's respect for Cecilia and concern for their neighbors, he agrees that Tait should help the others with a instructions to leave if it is dangerous and to come straight back after he is done. Tait quickly grabs his so-called adventurers gear and heads to meet the others.

Arric says, “We’ll go see what’s up Mrs. Dreab, don’t worry.” As he hurries to his home, he’ll tell his father where he’s going and his dad will help him into the armor he gave him. Then Arric would head towards the meetup point.

((Have we done anything like this before? Like is it normal for people to ask us to do this, or is Mrs. Dreab just the outlier?))

No not really but you are growing up. You have been running errands out of town from time to time.
