Slate
Slate looked at the creature and snarled, "You useless grub! Feel the power of the untamed!" she then rushed forward with her warhammer and swung at it while invoking the power of her god. She then cast her gaze momentarily to Iroona who was laying still on the ground and with soft words coaxes her back to the land of the living.
In Slates' distracted state over Iroona's condition her booming blade doesn't hit a damn thing
however Iroona feels the love of Slate fill her with 4 hp's bringing her back to life......
The creature still with some vomit on their beak tries to nab Iroona again with their tentacles

and misses!

Vonman runs up to the weird snake, and looks it in the beak. It may not have eyes, but that just means it won’t know when it‘s being burnt alive. These words (might) scare the weird creature.
As Von talks, The also Snake-Like Palaemon rises from his water and strikes at it, slapping it with a wet thwap.
Vicious Mockery, DC 8 wisdom save or 2 damage and disadvantage on next attack

Haven’t used this account in forever. Still a big fan of crawling claws.
No need to roll for the vicious mockery because Palaemon's wet slap finishes off the first creature which slumps to the ground near Iroona.
However - the second creature launches itself now at Slate!

Flint sees this battle as another reason he should have stayed in the Tower. If only he didn't lose the keys. He moves slowly away from the encounter after jettisoning the spray from his hands. No need to stick this close to that creepy...thing, if he didn't have to.
