Flint will see to his bed, stretch out and immediately fall asleep. After traveling for days on end to catch up with his "friends" and then all those battles, well he was just tuckered out. He wheezes snores through his barely open mouth, little toes wiggling in the air. A hard sleeper always. 

OOC: So Iroona and Slate are on first watch together?

So 8 hours passes uneventfully and everyone wakes up the next 'morning' well rested and healed up.  However since its hard to tell the cycle of the days this far underground (with the exception of maybe Vonman whose Dwarven nature may allow him to track that better.

((OOG I have a way of tracking when the sun rises... My furball creatures disappear at sunrise and I get three balls back lol))

OOC > Even if Slate and Iroona are on watch together she spends it pacing.

Flint wakes up slowly, stretches his body and looks around the chamber they are in. He reaches into his Bag of Tricks and checks to see if there are three more fuzzballs inside the bag. 

Yes there are three more fuzzballs in your sack

So where to now?  

Slate

"Well, thanks to Iroona and I it seems we made it through the night" Slate chuckled and sent a smile Iroona's direction. "This room doesn't seem to have anything else for us, to the other door?"

"It seemed we live for another sunrise!" Flint exclaims happily. He then digs into his pouch and pulls out a ball of fuzz and throws it down on the ground.

A dark-colored axebeak appears. 

"Oh crap! Not Jackobi!" The axebeak walks over to Flint and kicks him onto the ground and then sits on him. After some time, Flint is able to wiggle out and keep his distance from the wayward and odd creature. 

Iroona skirts the irascible giant bird on her way to the other end f the room. "Yes, let's keep going."

So you venture back out of this set of rooms and break in to the southern door - this resembles the area you were just in except its totally empty.  Coming back out to the waterfall cavern the only other way is a path to the south.

Taking the path, it opens up to a long, narrow cavern half-filled with an underground river, flowing along at a rapid pace. A narrow ledge on the north side overlooks the river. A bridge of stone spans the river, leading to a larger ledge on the south side that follows the course of the river to the east.

Slate

Slate walks up to the bridge and begins to look at it, gauging whether it looks safe or not. 

Perception: 5

"Guess it's this way then!" Slate says, as she gets no sense of danger from the Bridge and heads on across.

Flint keeps his space from Jackobi, but nods towards the bridge and sends the bird forward after Slate. Anything to keep that axe beak away from him. 

As you all cross the bridge and continue on you notice to the south a short flight of stone steps leads down to a wooden door that stands half-open. Dark, stagnant water pools in the small landing at the base of the steps and in the doorway, presumably filling the room beyond as well. The area smells of rot.

"We should most definitely check out the foul-smelling wet room," Iroona says, completely serious.

Slate

Slate looked to Iroona with a raised eyebrow, "Your wish is my command m'lady" she then headed down the stairs, keeping her shield up. 

"Well, like those tentacle things earlier, it is a likely place to find the remains of adventurers and whatever they brought or found while adventuring here. We just have to dispatch whatever did them in. It's common in all the literature." Iroona does not go first, or even second, having learned her lesson.

"WAIT!" Flint yells; very, very loudly. "Let Jackobi go first, no need getting all banged up again when we don' have to, yeah?"

That sounds like a good idea... he's disposable.
