Behind the secret door is a long stairwell leading up - as everyone ascends upwards you get about halfway and hear a voice yell in Dwarvish.....

 There is a stone door at the top of the stairs with a glowering Dwarven face upon it.

“What did he say,” Iroona asks in a whisper.

Slate

Slate looks back to Iroona an whispers, "I have no idea"

Does anyone speak Dwarvish? I forgot that Bobo dipped out (he's a dwarf heh)

If the dwarf would write it down, Iroona could read it. But she can't understand spoken Dwarvish, no.

Iroona glances at mute Sir Aldon, then sighs. “Then I guess we should forge on.”

(Well, now that I’m back, and a dwarf, i can read dwarvish. Did y’all gimme some random reasons as to why Von’s not here, or can I just...pop up?)

They’re raising an alert. Von speaks up, clutching his Yklwa. This isn’t good at all.

Slate

"Best we move forward quickly then" Slate says with a bit of worry in her voice.

"Forge on," Iroona says, making her joke a second time. Then she sighs and pushes Slate on up the passage, following closely.

At the top of the stairs is a stone door carved with a glowering dwarf’s face. It opens easily.

This enormous hall is lined with ten great pillars, carved into the forms of giants and dragons, that support the vaulted ceiling high above. Guttering orange torches set in sconces along the walls illuminate the room, and a mighty throne sits on a dais at the opposite end. The walls were once covered with tile mosaics, but they have been smashed and defiled by graffiti. Tiny fragments of tile litter the floor. You can see five other exits. A small fire smolders on the floor before the dais, where six sleeping pallets lie empty, surrounded by packs and supplies. The sound of hammers ringing on iron comes from beyond the doors to the south.

Suddenly a harsh voice calls from the shadows of the pillars, “Go back the way you came! This is the only warning you’ll get!”

Iroona holds up her hands peacefully from behind Slate's bulk. "Oh! No, no, all is well! We don't mean any harm. We are surprised to find this ruin inhabited. Who are you? Come out where we can see you, let's talk."

Persuasion: 11

"Well its obvious that this place is already inhabited, so go away we don't want your kind here..."

"Well," she demurs. "Inhabited might be a bit strong. But clearly you were here before us. Are you here to restart the forge?"

Is the bedding and campsite sized for dwarves?
