Kwiz stops his heart pounding. Red Wizards of Thay...
The Red Wizards, formerly known as the Red Wizards of Thay before a coup led by Szass Tam, are an organization of wizards in Faerûn. During their height of power, the Red Wizards were the notorious and nefarious spellcasting ruling class of the inhospitable but well-inhabited country of Thay. Slavers, demonologists, and magical experimenters, the Red Wizards were much feared by most of Faerûn. They constantly schemed to bring down their neighboring nations of Rashemen, where they were thwarted by the equally famed magicians the Witches of Rashemen.
((what is it exactly about this woman that makes Kwisatz think of the Red Wizards?))
Taking a deep breath, Kwisatz says to Alton "Something about the Woman in Red's dress, and the man next to her, reminds me of something I read back in the libraries about the Red Wizards. They are very strong, and rather evil. While it's certainly too early to make any guesses, it does seem somewhat coincidental (which I don't believe in by the way), that one might appear today after we discovered a strong wizard of Waterdeep disappear, and strong signs of necromantic power (of which the Red are rather adept I might add) in his empty house. She certainly needs to be watched."
Remembering this, he quickly calls Duncan down to him, writes a very quick note saying simply "Captain, though it is not yet confirmed, I have reason to believe that there may be a Red Wizard on the Crimson Dawn. Will report with more details later." and sends Duncan back to base to deliver this, and to then return to his perch above the party.

She has the dress of one and she has many apparent magical tattoos on her head and limbs. The fact that she is followed by one of their famed black knights helps a bit. She spotted Duncan easily so she is rather powerfull.
(Have the rest of us managed to meet back up with the two on the dock)
Yes.
The group ( Are you staying together or wearing your cloaks ? Tell me if you are hiding or if you want to do anything. ) is once more together and they see the Crimson Dawn arrive. The Black Brother melt into the hands helping the mooring of the boat and you only see them because you identified them from the start.
Quickly enough, crates, the size of small chests, are unloaded and haggling between the bosom and the merchants on the docks begins. All this takes place under the careful watch of a seawatch corporal and some of his men.
Alton will move off to the side while keeping his cloak off so that he doesn't cause any suspicion towards his actions. For the time being he waits to see what the others with him will do, using his smaller size to attempt to hide behind something.
A man comes down the boat toward the end of the disembarking. He looks like a fop and he is very mannered. Two brutes are standing next to him, on each side. He waves to another brute on the ship then saunters on, into the city.
Another group comes right after. The bald lady in her red and dark robes. Her head is completely tattooed and only her face seems to be clear of any ink. The knight next to her is in full plate and has a large shield attached to his back. On his side, you see a black stell morning star.
Darien pulls on the cloak of his watch station wearing that while staying near the ship watching over, at the sight of the man in full plate he will keep a hand on his sword's hilt
After joining the other two he would have passed on the information he had gotten from the Barman. He would also point out who he can only assume is the leader of the Black Brothers if he is on the wharf with the rest of them.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kwisatz hops down from the crate he was on, puts his book away, as well as his grey cloak (since the other two have as well), and also stats to follow, thinking to himself "Well... even dangerous magicks should be studied!"
"I am not sure that was our original task. But I don't think we should split up." Umdrak will hurriedly take his cloak off as well and follow the others.
(OOC: Would Umdrak know if people could sense Hunter's Mark being put on them as he wants to place it on the knight just in case we lose them in the croud.)

I think he would know and I don't think he prey feels it as it defeats the purpose in a sense.
The group goes to move after the woman and her knight. They make a beeline for the upper ward and strangely enough do not avoid places where there are lots of people. They are left alone for the sight of a mage and his bodyguard is not so uncommon in Waterdeep.
Thanks to the Hunter's Mark you are able to follow without being noticed. The Red Knight will be able to recognize Idozu if he sees him again during the day and knows he was followed.
They arrive in a house in the Sea Ward. The house is very large and well maintained. It has a private garden and one of the rooms on the lower floor is dedicated to selling magical wares. A sign with crossed rods swings in the wind.
As you watch you see a customer enter the shop, several minutes after the wizard. She has entered through a private door and into the living area. ( Kwiz make an arcana roll please. The others perception, please. )

Alton nods and curses as he is not fond of having to deal with the chance of being pitted against powerful spellcasters.

Idozu will leave on the cloak unless he knew beforehand or was told otherwise.
Kwisatz, wearing his cloak, finds a crate to sit on, pulls out a book and pen, and notes down anything he sees (11) of interest coming off the ship.

It takes a while for the ship to be unloaded.

Umdrak still has his cloak on.
After joining the other two he would have passed on the information he had gotten from the Barman. He would also point out who he can only assume is the leader of the Black Brothers if he is on the wharf with the rest of them.
Is anyone following one of the two groups?
(OOC: I know it splits the groups but that's the nice part of PbP )
The boat is still there and the Seawatch is near if you want to use them to search.
What I m saying is ... do your thing to find what is going on.
Alton will keep his cloak off and attempt to follow after the bald woman and the Knight as they seem important him.

“He can’t go alone, someone needs to.... watch his back.” Idozu follows after Alton.
(idozu takes off his cloak first)

Darien seeing the group move to follow the night and woman will fall in with the rest
