The figure sheaths it's bow and runs up to you. As the figures details become more visible you see a teenage girl, perhaps elfish, perhaps human. She has platinum blonde hair and strikingly dark eyes. You're not sure if they are blue or brown or black. She speaks to you in a hushed, quiet voice, "Watch what you say about Strahd. We are not safe." She looks back to the campfire and then back to you and speaks even more quickly, "Our elders have died and left us under the control of their sons, Luvash and Arrigal. They have been corrupted. Arrigals daught..." She is cut off by a mans voice calling from the campfire, "Diana! What's taking so long?! Either they are guests and are to come and eat with us, or they are foes and are to be killed on sight! These are simple instructions, Diana, Simple!" She looks at you petrified before calling back, "Just making sure they are disarmed! Better safe than sorry." She then looks at you, mouths the words "I'm sorry" and puts her hands out waiting for your weapons.
Ander will put his backpack on the ground rummaging through, "I am sure they are in here somewhere, I never use them" searching for his crossbow and daggers. He then whispers while doing this, "Were you saying something about Arrigal's daughter? Is she the missing child, or is she involved in their corruption? Or both?" He then finds and pulls out the crossbow, and then carries on searching for the daggers until she has a short time to respond and gives the daggers over
Diana pulls out a short sword and gets behind you, jabbing you very lightly along, though you can tell from her exhalations she is only acting tough. You arrive at the campfire and a tall human man stands up. He has shoulder length black hair that is straight and slightly greasy looking. He speaks in a rough voice that gives you a small knot in your stomach. "State your business here. Now."
Joetaro winces at being poked in the back. He nods at Glimra. "She pretty well summed it up. We were told that this lost child would also lead us to something that would help destroy the great evil in this land."

Arrigal looks at Glimra and says in a low snarl, "No, that is not a thing. Not here." He then shifts his attention to Jojo, "Have you not seen this place. Strahd has his fingers in everything. He controls all. Everyone chooses a side. Me and my band, we side with power." He steps closer to you and says in quieter, more sensitive sounding voice, "My Daugher Anabelle has gone missing. I tell you this only because I trust Madame Eva. Find her and I will help you. Until then, get out of my camp." He then goes to turn and walk back to the fire place but in a flash, spins on his heel and tries to punch Jojo in the face.

"Don't let me hear you blaspheme the name of Strahd again."
Sorry about the alert, had some problems with the dice roller!
Joetaro stares at the man before moving away from the village, saying nothing before turning to the guard. "We will leave once we have our weapons," he says.

Joetaro closes his eyes for a moment, then opens them and sighs before nodding at Glimra. "No, I'm pretty sure you would flatten him. He is merely standing up for his patron. If someone were to curse Selune, I wouldn't be too happy, but she is an actual goddess."

Before turning away with Joetaro, Uanstaer speaks to Arrigal. "Sorry for the brashness of my companions. I see that you don't think so now, but I am sure that at a later date you'll find this quite funny."

Arrigal turns and walks back to the fire. "Give them their weapons, Diana. Let them go." He pauses for a second and calls out to you, "The last time we spoke I told her to go the lake to try her hand at fishing. No trace of her since." As he sits down at the fire you hear him begin to cackle uncontrollably. "FISHING! HAH! FISHING!" his laughter echoes through the valley.

" So do you want our help or not?"

"And since we're here, do you happen to have anyonr with the powers of divination or story telling?"
The figure walks up to Joetaro. "What evil do you speak of? If you are talking about our countries righteous ruler, then I suggest you reconsider."
